She/He Impresses You

Robin

It was a normal day training with the titans. Well, more like training with Robin. The others were off doing their own thing on the other side of the gym, leaving the sparring mat empty other than the two of you. You could hear Beast Boy and Star cheering on Cyborg as he bench pressed what looked like the weight of about 3 cars, which looked much more exciting than what you were doing.

"Focus Y/N." Robin said, drawing your attention from the others. You sighed and did the same motions you've been doing for the past 20 minutes. Punch with right arm, punch with left arm, block. Then again. And again.

"This is sooo booring." You complained making him smirk.

"You're the one who asked to learn Karate." He said.

"When I asked I expected to learn something a bit more... I don't know... Exciting? Cool? Not super boring and repetitive?"

He chuckled. "You have to learn the less exciting things before you can learn the cool stuff."

"Like a backflip?" You asked, hopefully.

He hummed, "Yeah. But that's more parkour than karate."

"So you can do a backflip?"

He smiled at your question. "Yeah. I can do a backflip."

"Really? That's so cool. Can you do one now?" You said quickly.

"Whoa, slow your roll. If I do one will you stop complaining about how boring karate is?" You nodded excitedly.

He sighed and took a step back, you doing the same to give him some room. Then he did a backflip, landing on his feet in a fighting stance.

"Wow." You said, impressed.

"Ok," he took a step toward you, resuming his original training stance, "now, again."

Cyborg

"I don't know what I did. It just... stopped working." You explained as Cyborg took you laptop into his hands. He hit a few buttons making a black screen with green numbers pop up. After looking at that for a few moments he hit a couple keys on the keyboard.

Then he hummed. "I can fix this. But it will take some time."

"'Some time' meaning...?" You asked, hoping it wouldnt take too long. You still had to write that essay for English class.

He shrugged. "Best case scenario: and hour. Worst case: yeesh, your looking at a couple days at least."

You felt a little relieved. A few days isn't so bad. After all the essay isnt due until the end of next week.

"Are you sure you're ok with doing this? I can take it to a computer store if you dont want to..."

He smiled at you. "Its not a problem. I'm more than happy to help. For now I'll take it back to my place, it'll be easier to fix it with all my equipment."

You smiled greatfully at him as he stood up from your couch. "Ok great. Thank you so much." You said, giving him a hug and a peck on the cheek.

"No prob. Um, I'll give you a call when its fixed." He said, rubbing the back of his neck bashfully.

"Ok. See ya later, Cy!" You said as he exited you apartment.

"Bye, Y/N." He replied, closing the door behind him. It was two days later that you got the call.

"Hey Y/N!" He greeted when you answered.

"Hey Cy. Whats up?"

"Are you at your place?" He asked quickly, obviously excited about something.

"Yeah. Just got back from the store. Why?"

"I'm on my way over now, will be there in about 5 minutes actually. See you then!" He hung up before you a could ask why he was on his way over.

You looked down at your phone, "Call Ended" flashed on the screen. You laughed, "what a goof."

Just as you got finished putting away your groceries, there was a knock at the door. You opened it and Cyborg stepped in, hands behind his back. "Hey cutie. What have you been up to today?"

You raised an eyebrow at the strange behavior, but answered his question nonetheless. "Well, I just got back from the store. And before that was school." He was rocking back and forth on his heels as you talked. "Ok, why are you so excited?" You asked, placing your hands on your hips.

He smiled widely and pulled your laptop from behind his back. "Ta da!" He said proudly.

You gasped excitedly, reaching for it. He let you take it and lead you to the couch where you sat side by side. You opened it up and it started a lot faster than you thought it would.

"I upgraded a lot since it was mediocre to begin with." Then he was rambling a bunch of computer terms. Some of which you could make out, but most of it was nonsense. Basically, to dumb it down. Computer is now faster and better than before.

"This is so cool." You said, scrolling through the upgrades.

"Nah, it was really simple." He said humbly.

"No way, this is really really cool, Cy!"

He smiled cutely before pointing at the screen. "And look. It has touch screen now too! Plus you can-" cue more computer terms.

Beast Boy

You and Beast Boy were walking through town, a milkshake in your hand and an ice cream cone in his.

"And then he was all like," his voice lowered a bit and it became gravely, "you're not getting away this time!" He was currently giving you a play by play of his recent fight with the notorious brother blood.

You nodded and hummed when necessary, listening to his story with half an ear. You were more focused on a kid who was playing with their ball by the road. He was kicking it around and when he kicked too hard it flew out into the street. In the blink of an eye he was chasing it down and you gasped as a car rounded the corner quickly.

BB followed your line of sight and jumped into action running into the street and grabbing the kid, just barely getting him out of the way as the car skidded to a halt where the kid was previously standing. He set the kid down on the sidewalk and gave him a lecture about playing on the road, when he was sure he understood the point he was trying to make he turned back to you.

"Sorry. Always on duty." He laughed.

You were looking at him in a whole new light now as it really sunk in that he just saved that little kid from certain death. He really is an actual superhero. He saves peoples lives and that's his actual job!

"You ok?" He asked after a few seconds of you being quiet.

"That was... incredible! The way you just jumped into action and saved him!"

He chuckled. "I dont know...." He rubbed the back of him neck as red flushed his cheeks.

"What are you talking about? That was amazing!"

Raven

You and Rae were hanging out at the tower watching Jump City's Got Talent. There was currently a magician on screen doing some card trick.

When he revealed the card you hummed. "Thats so cool." Raven scoffed making you look at her. "What, you dont like it?"

"'Magicians' just use slight of hand and misdirection to fool you into thinking they've pulled off some 'amazing' trick. I can do real magic."

You muted the tv and turned to face her. "Ok then. Show me some real magic." You said with a smirk.

After a second she dawned a smirk of her own before grabbing your hand. There was a moment of what felt like gravity from every direction, you found yourself in a whole new place. You were in a bare street. Completely empty other than you and Raven who stood next to you.

"What was that?" You asked, still recovering from the whiplash.

"Teleportation."

"And where are we?" You asked looking around.

"Italy."

You choked on your next word. "What!"

She then grabbed you hand again and there was that feeling again. When you looked up this time you saw none other than, "is that the Eiffel Tower!?" You asked amazed.

Then you were off again, this time the statue of liberty, then the leaning tower of pisa, then Rome. After a few more trips you found yourself back at the Titans tower.

You didn't trust your voice so you just looked at her with stars in your eyes. She smirked and unmuted the TV.

Starfire

You stepped out of the elevator and into the Living room of the tower. "Hey, Star." You greeted the Tamaranien who was seated on the couch, a certain silkie in her lap.

"Hello Y/N. I was unaware you were planning on visiting today." She smiled at you over the back of the couch.

"It was sort of an in the moment kind of thing. What are you watching?" You asked, sitting beside her and turning your focus to the tv. She responded in Japanese, much to your surprise.

"What?" You looked at her, dumbfounded.

She giggled before repeating the same Japanese phrase, which you now assumed was the name of the show she was watching. The show was, in fact, in Japanese after all.

"And you can understand this?"

She nodded. "I know many languages."

"Really? Thats so cool. What other languages do you know?"

She thought for a moment before counting them out on her fingers. "Japanese, Korean, English, Spanish, Tamaranien..." She hummed in thought, "I think that's all of them. As well as some languages from other planets."

"That's so cool, say something in Korean!"

She giggled again before doing as you requested, saying a short Korean phrase.

"What does that mean?"

"Something."

Jinx

You made your way down the hall towards Jinx's room before facing her door. You raised your hand to knock but paused when you heard her voice on the other side.

Curiosity got the best of you and you dropped your hand, listening to her voice. She was singing along with a slow paced song. "This is the moment, when you come up for air. Yelling at the top of your lungs, Not a minute to spare." You were surprised. She wasn't all that bad. In fact, she was really really good. You were extremely impressed.

You leaned against the door, hoping to hear a little clearer and was surprised when it popped open, causing you to fall into her room.

She screamed, initially shocked by the intruder, but then relaxed when she saw it was you. "Jesus christ, you gave me a heart attack!" She yelled causing you to laugh.

"Sorry."

Terra

"I'm so so sorry!" You apologized, stepping into your room where Terra was playing videogames.

You had to finish your homework (which took much longer than you expected) leaving her practically by herself which made you feel terrible since she came over to hang out with you.

"Its fine Y/N. I get it. Homework is totally important. Besides, I've been building some pretty sweet houses on your minecraft world."

You still felt terrible, but took a seat next to her and looked at her creation. You wouldn't necessarily call that a house. You would call that a mansion. It was huge, complete with a main hall and both left and right wings.

"That's amazing! How did you build that?"

She shrugged. "The same way I built that one." Sure enough, off in the distance was a second, slightly smaller but still impressive mansion.

"Bruh. I left you alone for like, 30 minutes. How on earth did you manage to build 2 mansions in that time!?"

She shrugged again, "I guess I just got them skills."

Gizmo

"Come on!" He said, excitedly. Pulling you by the hand through the hive five lair. "Its down this way!" He pulled you down yet another hallway.

"You're gonna pull my arm off my body!" You laughed, trying to keep up with him.

"In here!" He yanked you into a dark room before letting go of your hand and running off. "Don't move I'll be right back." He said, disappearing into the dark, leaving you in the strip of light from the hallway.

It was rare he got this excited about anything, but always a welcome surprise.

After a few minutes, there was a loud click and the lights in the room turned on one by one. The first thing you noticed was the room was much larger than you though. About the size of a 4 car garage, and tall too.

The second thing you noticed was the plane that sat in the middle of the room. It was a smaller than average plane with room for 2 people, maybe 3.

"Ta Da!" Gizmo popped up out of no where. "Cool, huh?"

"You bought a plane?" You asked glancing between him and the said object.

"Uh uh. I did not 'buy' a plane. I built a plane!"

"Buil- You built this plane!?" You asked, completely surprised.

"Yep! I've been working on it for awhile and finally took it out for a test run yesterday." He ran his hand over the hood before pulling it open.

"It actually flies? That's so cool!" You said, giving the plane a throughout once over.

"Yeah, I figured, maybe," he shut the hood, "you'd wanna go on today's test run with me?"

You turned your attention back to him. "Of course I do!"
