"OK here I go."I say. And with that I open the letter. I start to read it, my eyes scan over every word.

"It says, Dear Lucy stone, Drew Simmons, and Tyler west. You all were well qualified, your letters you sent were great and very well written, but do to unfortunate circumstances you three have been rejected. You will continue going to your high school. Have a good day." I say.

  I'm confused. Why were we rejected? It doesn't make any sense. I look at Drew and Tyler. They look very disappointed."I'm sorry guys I wish I knew what to say."I say.

Tyler gives me a small smile."Its not your fault."he says.

"Tyler's right, its not your fault, they said it was because of some unfortunate circumstance."says Drew.

They stand up."So what do we do now?"says Tyler. I sigh.

"I don't know Tyler I don't know."I say.

"Well we can't just sit around and feel sorry for ourselves."says Drew.

"Then what do you want to do?"I say.

Then Tyler smiles wide."Lets go to my place, I got money so we can order a pizza watch movies and eat candy till we puke."says Tyler.

I look at drew and we both smile."OK lets do it but no puking."I say.

"Deal."says Tyler.

I set the letter down grab my keys and purse and we head for the door."Oh and it's going to be a zombie movie marathon."says Tyler smiling wide

.I groan."Really again?"I say.

Tyler and Drew laugh and we leave. I drop Drew off at his house before I head home."Thanks for the ride Lucy."says Drew opening the door and closing it.

I roll down the window."Any time buddy. I'll see you tomorrow at school later."I say.

He waves and I drive off towards my house. Once I park I hop out and head into my house. My mothers cooking supper in the kitchen, shes just about done.

She looks over and spots me."Hello Lucy welcome back."she says smiling."Hey mom what are you cooking?"I ask.

"Hamburgers rice and green beans."she says.

"Sounds good."I says. And soon my family's siting at the table eating.

"So did u read the letter?"asked my mother.

"Yes I did."I say.

"Well tell us what it said."says my father.

I sigh and set my fork down."We were all rejected for unfortunate circumstances."I say.

"Well that's a shame."says my mother.

"It's their loss."says my father. I smile.

"Thanks."I say.

After we eat I head to my room and go to my bathroom and get dressed for bed and brush my teeth. I walk to my bed and sit down and read a book for a while.

I soon look at the clock, It's ten so I lay down cover up set my book on the bed side table  and turn out my lamp.

I close my eyes, it takes me a while to fall asleep but around 11:00 I finally do. It's early in the morning when there's banging on the door.

I jump awake and hear my mother and father yelling. Then three huge guys burst down my room door scaring me half to death.

I scream as they move towards me.
