(Lucy's POV.) 

" Lucy wake up."says my mother. I slowly open my eyes and see my parents look at me.

" What's going on?"I ask.

" Were just about there."says my mom. I nod. I must have fallen asleep on Tyler's shoulder.

I sit up straighter and take my head off his shoulder. " How far are we from the house?" I ask, and just as I say that we pull up into the yard.

I hear Drew laugh. " Does that answer you question?" says Drew.

I smile and laugh as well. My dad gets out of the car and starts walking around the house and checking it inside. " What is dad doing?" I ask.

" He's checking to make sure its safe for us to go in." says my mom.

I nod. My dad comes back and nods. We all hop out and go inside. It looks like any other house. A couple chairs, a tv, a couch, and a rug to cover the stone flooring. I go and sit down on a chair and watch as the others do the same. Its been a long day and I'm sure everyones exhausted.

I know I am. I rest my head back, but I don't close my eyes. " So what do we do now?" I ask.

" I'm not sure but we'll think of something." says my dad. I nod.

After a while of siting there we all end up falling asleep. Until I hear the door open. I look and see Drew is walking outside. I get up and follow. I gently close the door behind me and walk down the road after him. Then I see where he's going. There's a car parked at the top of the hill and he's going to check it out.

My pulse starts racing. What if its the Hunter again? I start running towards him but then he dives into the woods. The people up there have spot lights. And there coming towards our house. I dive into the woods as well and crawl over to Drew. " What are you doing here?" says Drew.

" I could ask you the same thing." I say.

He sighs." I had to check this out. They must be from the university because their seaching for something, but we need to draw them away from the house to save the others." says Drew.

" How are we going to do that?" I say. He doesn't respond. He's staring at a guy.

I follow his gaze and see he's staring straight at the Hunter. I slowly bring out my phone and text my mom telling her to get everyone out. After I send it I look up and see the Hunter is now staring directly at me. A creepy smile lights up his face.

" Run Drew run now." I say. We take off into the woods. We can hear him following us. He's close very very close.

"!Were never going to out run him." says Drew.

" What are we going to do? " I say.

He locks eyes with me before he tackles me and we tumble into a bush. He forces me down and has me hide."Stay there and do not make a sound." says Drew.

" But Drew what about you?" I ask.

I know what he plans on doing. He stands up and backs up a few steps. Then I hear the foot steps of some one else. The Hunter rushes foward and has Drew slammed up against a tree before I could even blink. Drew trys to kick the Hunter, but is met with a fist to the gut.

" Where's your little friend who was with you huh? Is she still here?" says the Hunter.

" She's long gone. You will never find her." says Drew. His look was firm but I could see a trace of fear in his eyes. His hands are in fists by his side. The Hunter smiles and pulls Drew forward so fast he stumbled and fell to his knees. The Hunter walked in a circle around him. Drew didn't move a inch.

I could tell fear had full control of his body. But Drew has always been able to remain calm in stressful situations. The Hunter laughed.

" Bring me the rope. This boy isn't going to fight." says the Hunter.

" What makes you so sure of that?" says Drew.

" Because if you were you would have already." says the Hunter and I know he's right.

Drew won't fight anyone or anything unless its to protect me. He once got into a fight in middle school because this guy wouldn't leave me alone.

They brought rope and gave it to the Hunter. He put Drew's hands behind his back and tied them together tight. Then the Hunter grabed his arm and yanked him to his feet.

" Two down two to go." says the Hunter as they get into the van.

I hear the door close and the car take off. I wait a few minutes before I move in case there are any more of them. Then I take off running back to the house calling my mom."m

" Lucy are you OK? Where are you?" says my mom.

" Their gone meet me at the front door and hurry." I say. Then I hang up.

After five minutes my parents and Tyler show up and walk to me. My mom hugs me. " Lucy where's Drew?" says Tyler.

I look at him. He already knows the answer because he starts to cry. " They got him don't they?" says Tyler.

I nod. Tears start to run down my cheeks. Tyler embraces me and we stay like that for a while crying together.
