Jumping awake, Teddy groaned. It had only been a dream. Sighing heavily, he got up and trudged down the stairs to the basement for some midnight cereal. As he ate the coco pops, he couldn't help but wonder what they were all doing, back in his time. What Vic was doing, and if she missed him as much as he missed her....

Harry was getting dressed in his smartest suit. It was his hearing in an hours time. How it happened, Harry wasn't sure, but the Ministry found out that Teddy had been sent back in time. Harry was now under questioning about why and how it happened, considering the fact that all Time Turners and other similar devices should have been destroyed long ago.
"Harry, time to go." Ginny said, entering the bedroom.
"Thanks." Harry sighed. "How do I look?"
Ginny smiled, eyeing him over. "You look fine."
Harry smiled before heading out through the door and down to the ground floor. Taking Ginny's hand, he opened it.
"Lets go." He sighed.
It was a trip down memory lane; they went the same way he had went when Harry had been fifteen. After going through security checks, it was another seven minutes before Harry was seated and ready for questioning. Kingsley Shacklebolt was the one questioning him. Disappointment was clear in his dark eyes.
"Disciplinary hearing of the twelfth of Feburary, into offenses committed under the Decree for the Reasonable Restriction of Time Travel and the International Statute of Secrecy by Harry James Potter, resident at number twelve Grimmauld Place, Islington, London, England. Interrogators: Kingsley Shacklebolt, Minister for Magic; Adeline Lucia Bowler , Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement; Zoe Edgar Diamond, Senior Undersecretary to the Minister. Court Scribe, Percy Ignatius Weasley." Kinglsey said, hushing everyone around him. "Harry James Potter, you have been presented before us after an incident which happened on the third of April last year, involving Edward Remus Lupin. We are willing to hear your side of the story before deciding your future."
Harry nodded and sighed. "It was Teddy's birthday, Ginny and I had gotten him something very special but we'd left one half of it in my study-"
"One half?" Adeline asked
"It was keys to a motorbike. He's always wanted one, so we got him one." Harry answered. "Ginny realized that the keys weren't there, so we sent him up to go get them. But being the lazy teenager he is, he decided to Apparate to my study. We did hear a faint crash, but that isn't unusual, stuff always falls over in there often. It was only after a while that we got concerned because he hadn't come back yet. Ginny went upstairs before calling to me that he'd gone, and the grandfather clock in my study had fallen over, and was glowing."
"It was glowing?" Adeline confirmed.
"Yes, glowing." Harry replied
"Could you please tell us about the grandfather clock?" Kingsley said.
"As we all know, every Time Turner was destroyed. When I was in third year and I found out Hermione had been using one to get to class, I always wondered why people wouldn't have used it to go back and save my parents, the millions of others that Voldemort killed, and most importantly, kill young Tom Riddle, I didn't know his name then, but I thought about it again years later." Harry said. "Thinking about it more. I realized that those Time Turners weren't that powerful, and they couldn't bring us back forward in time, only back."
"What has this got to do with the clock?" Adeline asked
"It's a special time turner. I made it, not just me but the idea was mine. You see, I hate that fact that so many people close to me died for me. Teddy is an orphan because of me. Many families lost sons and daughters because of me, we lost Fred Weasley because of me." Harry cried. "I want to undo all of that, every innocent life taken away because of me, and because of Voldemort.
There are three main points in time I wanted to try and travel to; (1) the orphanage where Tom Riddle stayed, where I'd try and kill him, or (2), the night my parents died and either try to save my dad, or Sirius, hopefully both. I realized my mother would have to die for me to live that would still be a draw back. But if that failed then I'd go to (3), back to when I was fifteen. Then maybe I could save Sirius, Tonks, Remus, Fred, Snape and Dumbledore, the kids that lost their lives that night. I don't want this scar upon my head to be so symbolic anymore, it's a constant reminder to me of what we all lost."
"But Harry, you'd be meddling in something way over your head. You would be changing everything we know." Kingsley said. "It's too dangerous."
"I know it is. But if it means Teddy has his parents and I have Sirius and Fred back, then it would be worth it." Harry said. "I know it works because I've been contacting Teddy via the mirror I gave him ages ago. He made it to when I was fifteen, but he is obviously stuck there because I hadn't finished working on the clock; it could only go back, not back and then forwards again."
"Why don't you make it go forwards?" Adeline asked
"Because it is really complicated stuff. And now the clock is completely broken and took me almost two years to make it the first time. The Time mechanism is really hard to get right, and it wasn't easy the first time, this time it's going to be tougher because my godson's life is at stake." Harry cried.
"How are the repairs going on the clock, if you have started?" Kingsley asked.
"Getting there. I'm trying to remember the balance of everything that brought it to that exact time. Everything needs to be exact so we don't miss him." Harry said. "We have tested one of the devises on Bill Weasley. It worked, but only for less than a minute; not nearly enough time to erase the memories of those who had met Teddy."
Kingsley's eyes bore into Harrys as silence fell.
"Witches and Wizards, its fair to say that what Mr Potter here has done is very wrong," Kingsley said, "but he is also taking responsibility for his actions to try make them right. I propose dropping the charges and organizing a specialized team to help get Mr Lupin back."
"But sir, we can't-" Zoe protested
"I know, but rules can be changed in special circumstances and this is one." Kingsley said. "Mr Potter, you have until the end of June to make sure the clock is fixed, working properly with no glitches, and have young Mr Lupin back here as he was. If not, you'll be sent to Azkaban for misuse and illegal usage of Time Travel devices."
People muttered in agreement. Harry stared up at Kingsley with a silent thanks, before nodding briefly to show he understood.
"Dismissed." Kinglsey yelled, hitting the gavel off the table. "Remember Mr Potter, time is running out, for both of you......"
