As my eyes slowly flicker open to the morning light, i stretch and roll over and look to Teddy who is asleep on her front, the sheet stopping just below the dimples at the base of her spine.
Her dark glossy curls run down her shoulder and spill out onto her crisp white pillow, her lips smushed against her arm, and I can't stop smiling because this beautiful creature claimed me as hers last night.

I sigh and reach out, running my hand down her naked back, the sight of which is heavenly.

Teddy is so well sculpted from playing basketball, and her months having to dedicate every second of her life to it, in a constant state of working out, it made her now look like some ridiculously beautiful warrior, built for combat. Her arms were strong and her biceps were hard, and on her petite frame you could see every muscle that she had been working vigorously. I could now appreciate all of her hard work, as if it was now all for me, to enjoy...

Oh, I would.

I think I must smile stupidly at her there beside me for ten minutes before I can't fight the urge any longer to kiss her. I slide my body over the back of her as she stirs.

I glide her hair away from her neck and kiss her there. She smiles with her eyes still shut "am I dreaming" she asks.

I kiss her all the way down her neck, her shoulders, and to the dimples on her back, and then as she relaxes into it...I sit up and take her waist and flip her around.

She opens her eyes and smiles "Harper" she says with a little laugh "are you seducing me" she asks with a twinkle in her eye, and a playfulness to her tone.

"Always" I return in the same manner.

I slide up her body, resting my weight between her legs before she pulls me against her, bringing my mouth to hers, and kissing me hard. It all begins once again, a love making that would leave us both a little giddy, and a lot in the throws of an intense love that in every moment seemed to grow more so.

It was as night of declarations, love making and talking into the early hours, and it had left me deliriously happy. This is all I had ever wanted, a best friend and a lover wrapped up in one person, and Teddy had always been the one I wished it would be with. We were finally here, making big moves, confessing everything, purging the past failures and taking what was ours, finally taking it, all of it. I had never been more excited for tomorrow, or the day after that, and the weeks, months and years ahead because it was going to be together. Teddy, Wren and I. We had a whole life waiting to be spent together.

Her fingers circle my arm... "How does it feel" she asks.

I smile into the side of her breast from where I lie beside her, and kiss her soft skin "round...soft... tastes like coconut..." I reply teasingly.

She laughs "not my boob Harper... how does it feel to be my girlfriend?"

I sigh "better than I imagined"

She runs her fingers in softer circles up my arm before trailing them lower and slipping her arm down around my waist. Her hand cups the soft swells of my breast.

"Better" she asks.

I look up to her and grin "better" I repeat. I push myself up to her lips and circle my hand around under her thigh bringing it up and around my back, and pushing myself against her as my tongue brushes once again against hers.

I rock backward and pull her on top of me with my hand firmly holding her thigh. Teddy sits straddling my waist. She runs both hands up through her glossy dark locks, and as she does, I get the entire visual of her body, and her insanely tight and taught flesh that honesty looked as if it sizzled.

She looks down to me wiggling her eyebrows "like what you see" she asks.

I smile and reach up placing my hand between her breasts "my girlfriend is fucking hot" I observe, eyebrow cocked.

She grins "what would you like to do to her" she asks with a look of teasing.

"I want to save this moment for when we get home ... because I have visions of what I want to do to you in this position Theodora" I say feeling a flutter in my belly at the thought. "And I'm missing some apparatus"

"Oh" she says a little intrigued at the thought, before placing her hands back down either side of me and leaning down, her mouth caressing my breast one at a time as her dark hair fell over me. My hips rise up instinctively and I don't know if I can wait until we get home...and even then, was it appropriate to have sex in your parents house? With them in a room down the hall?.

"Teddy" I say suddenly worried.

She looks up "what" she asks as her brown eyes look to me curiously.

"We are going to need to sort out something more permanent if we are going to be together" I begin.

She nods and slides off of me, leaning on her elbow and giving me her full attention.

"It was different before when we were at home, we were never official and we didn't ... we didn't make it too obvious that we spent our nights ..."

"Having sex" she adds with a grin.

I nod more seriously "yeah, having sex ...and if we are now officially together"

"Which we are" she interjects.

"Yes, which we are ... Mama and Willa will know exactly what we are doing two bedrooms down and it feels a little inappropriate"

"Harper we aren't teenagers... they know exactly what we were doing all those months" she says casually, her fingers brushing along my clavicle where she softly tousled my auburn hair.

"Yeah but now I know they know... it makes me uncomfortable" i confess.

I sit up further, leaning on the headboard, the sheet coming up to my lap.

She looks up to me and smiles "what can I do to make it ... comfortable" she asks.

I reach down and pull her hand up and kiss her fingers softly "I'm not sure"

I drop her hand back down, and look to my phone, pulling it into my hands and checking I had no updates about Wren. There was only a picture of her from last night, when Mama had put her down to bed, she was curled up in her crib with her hands beside her cheek, sleeping soundly and Walter was tucked beside her chest.

Teddy rolls onto her front and I turn it around and show her "She's the best" she whispers lovingly "can we get our breakfast ordered. I need to go see our baby right now" she says jumping up and walking over to retrieve the room service menu, before sitting back beside me.

I place the phone back down and wrap my arms around Teddy's waist, kissing her shoulder and peeking down at the menu "pancakes" I say pointing down to them "that will most definitely satisfy my appetite"

She turns and kisses my nose "definitely" she says taking the phone and dialling for the room service.

"I'm going to take a shower" I say slipping out from behind her and moving into the bathroom.

I look in the mirror at my reflection as I turn on the nozzle and let it warm up, observing closely the two love bites that were either side of my stomach "woah" I say loudly, not remembering when they got placed.
Last night had been a blur of intense love making, that kind of rolled into one out of body experience.

Teddy appears beside me "you bit me" I accuse, hands either side of the red marks.

She looks to my body in the mirror "I didn't bite you" she says draping her arms around me " I sucked you... hard" she confesses and she laughs and nuzzles into my neck before taking my hand and pulling me into the shower with her again, round five... let's go.

On the drive back to Willa and Mamas, Teddy holds my hand, not once letting it go "you know I've been thinking about our privacy predicament" she says.

I turn to her curiously "what are you thinking" I ask her.

She turns to me briefly with a smile that makes her dimples pop "I will get a more permanent hotel room. I can't buy or rent anything because I have no idea if I'm staying east coast this season or if I will have to move away in a couple months"

My stomach drops. I hadn't even thought about the fact Teddy could be snapped up by another team further away.

"Hey" she says running her thumb over my chin "no don't think it" she demands having seen the worry swamp my features "I'm pretty sure Connecticut will want Lane and I to stay put... but if it comes to it Harper... I want you and Wren to come with me" she asks and she looks to the road and then back to me.

I can't help the relief that washes over me or the excitement to finally be a part of Teddy's future in that way. "Really" I ask.

She shakes her head, amazed, that I still didn't realise "of course really Harper... we are a family... we stay together don't we?" She asks.

I lean over and kiss her cheek "we do" I return.

As we pull into the drive, Willa is out front packing up their car. "Where are they going to" I ask.

Teddy shakes her head "no idea"

"Hey" Willa says as we get out "did you guys have a good night" she asks trying not to make it awkward.

Teddy hugs her "we did thank you"

I point to the trunk "where are you going" I ask.

Willa shuts it firmly "I am taking your mama away for valentines weekend" she announces.

Teddy and I smile, because that was good news for all of us. Teddy and I got the house together and Mama and Willa were working on their relationship.

Willa points at us both accusingly "I know you two are smiling at all the alone time this gives you, and I have only one thing to say about it" she says raising her finger again "do not do anything on my breakfast bar... or my dining room table... or my couch" she instructs.

I blush and Teddy laughs "noted"

I'm glad she finds it funny because I'm mortified.

Willa shakes her head at me "Harper honestly"she says "you are too easy to wind up"

Teddy and Willa walk up to the house as I follow them.

"I'm so excited to see her" Teddy says beaming as she runs up the steps and opens the front door.

Mama walks out of the family room with Wren holding her hand and walking beside her, quite confidently "whose that Wren" Mama asks.

Teddy drops down on her sneakers and holds out her arms.

Wrens smile widens and she makes for Teddy quickly, stumbling over her feet a little "mamamamamama" she calls out.

Teddy lifts her into the air and chucks her up and down as she giggles before wrapping her in her arms, and kissing her nose a million times. "You got so big sweetheart... so so big" she says tickling Wrens little belly. "And the sneakers" she says lifting her leg up and making a wide eyed impressed face that Wren finds amusing as she giggles."they are fire Wren... absolute fire... how is your sneaker game better than moms" she asks her.

Wren wraps her little arms around Teddy's neck, perhaps the first time I had seen her do that, she leant in for cuddles usually, but to actually wrap her arms around her. I melted on the spot.

"Mom" I question and I walk over and place my arms around both of them as Wren squeezes my nose "ouch" I say.

Teddy laughs "I think we need to distinguish between mama and mom don't you" Teddy asks "now she is talking" she adds "Harper it will get incredibly confusing if she calls us both mama... is that okay" she asks me suddenly unsure if it was.

I look up and lean into her smiling "of course it is Teddy"

"M...O...M" Teddy says overly pronounced and pointing to herself as we all laugh.

Mama and Willa shake their heads "you two" mama says coming over and turning it into a group hug "I am so happy" she says tearing up.

I look to her beside my cheek amused "mama honestly why are you crying" I ask.

She squeezes us all before kissing Wren on the cheek between us "you are so lucky you found each other so young. I'm crying because I'm so happy for you Harper"

"Well I have news... we have news" I announce looking back to Teddy who beams at what I am about to announce.

Mama looks to us both apprehensively "what is it?" she asks.

Willa comes over and wraps her arm around mamas shoulder.

"Teddy asked me to be her girlfriend" I announce.

Willa and Mama raise their hands in excitement. "Yes" mama squeals kissing my cheek and squeezing Teddy's shoulder.

Willa hugs Teddy too "you did it kid" she whispers "So proud Ted" she adds lovingly and Teddy looks as if her eyes mist over.

"Now I need to whisk your mama away" Willa announces.

Mama frowns "where" she asks completely unaware of Willa's plans.

"Alberta, I am taking you on a trip for valentines weekend" she announces.

Mama smiles curiously and looks surprised "where" she asks again.

Willa shakes her head "it's a surprise you have to wait and see" she says.

Mama laughs "Willa tell me" she asks.

Willa shakes her head teasingly "Allie you are going to have to just suck it up and let me take charge okay" she says matter of factly.

Mama leans up and kisses her "fine" she muses "ooh I'm excited" 

"Have fun mama" I say.

She kisses us both again before Willa whisks her out of the front door.

"Behave you two" Teddy calls after them. Wren was sat in her arms as she shuts the door behind her. She turns back to me and looks between me and Wren "well looks like we get to play house this weekend" she says wriggling her eyebrows at me.

"I always liked to play house when I was a kid" I confess.

Teddy laughs "this will not be like that" she says jovially making a face.

I let out a laugh as she puts Wren down, she heads off for her toys as Teddy looks back to me.  I walk into her arms "no this game of house Harper" she begins, kissing my forehead "by night, involves a secret hidden drawer that the mama has filled with fun toys... for adults only" she teases.

I let out a laugh that she captures with a kiss, making me swallow it, and I lean into the embrace. This weekend was about to rock my world in more ways than one. Playing house with Teddy was about to become my favourite thing in the world, and to think one day it would just be permanent... no game... just life.
