Zoo
Thank you everyone for suggesting so many ideas for me! There wasn't enough room for all of them, but you gave me lots of chapter ideas!

Ted will admit, he wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed, but he was at least average in intelligence. Though, he doesn't know a lot of things that many other children do with family, but it really wasn't his fault.
That's why time with the Bell family confused him. Made a warm fuzzy feeling form in his chest, but confusEd him nonetheless. You see, once a month, they would all go out and have something called 'family bonding.' Ted didn't understand since the closest to 'family bonding' he ever had was Felix giving him a quarter that one time he protected him from a food fight. There was also those times where their mother would be affectionate and sweet to them, but father often yelled at her for that and it would start an argument between the two.
Anyways, where was he? Oh! Yes, family bonding.
It started off with a trip to the zoo. Ted knew he and Felix went to the zoo once, but they were still babies and their mother had to be sneaky with them, so they weren't even there long. About half an hour or so.
He was wearing some clothes of Nugget's that were a bit oversized on him, but very comfy. He was holding onto Mrs. Bell's hand while Nugget held Mr. Bell's, the slightly older boy practically dragging his amused father to the giraffes.
Ted held onto Mrs. Bell's hand tighter, although relaxed a bit when she squeezed his hand gently in reassurance. "Want to see the birds before we go see the scary stuff?" She asked curiously.
Ted nodded his head in reply and Mrs. Bell told her husband that they were going to see the birds first. After giving his wife an affectionate kiss on the cheek, Mr. Bell went with Nugget while Mrs. Bell went with Ted in the opposite direction to go see the birds.
"Ooh! Mrs. Bell, look at that bird!" Ted said, pointing at a beautifully blue bird with a long greenish-blue tail. When it's tail opened up, it looked like there were multiple eyes on it.
"That bird is called the Peacock. It's a really pretty bird isn't it?" Mrs. Bell asked, Ted immediately nodding his head in agreement, his ruby red eyes sparkling as he stared at the pretty bird.
They continued on like this, Ted pointing out a bird that interested him and Mrs. Bell reading what's on the sign to know what bird it was. They saw hummingbirds, sparrows, flamingos, and even parrots! It was really fun!
They met Nugget and Mr. Bell when they both went to where the snakes were. Some snakes were small, only as big at Ted's wrist, but others were huge and could easily wrap themselves around grown adults before crushing them! Ted clearly preferred the smaller ones since they were actually really cute.
Nugget seemed to agree with him on this, so while a bunch of other kids were staring and admiring all the huge snakes, he and Nugget were awing and cooing at the little ones with Nugget's parents watching them not too far in amusement.
Nobody noticed the red-headed boy in the wheelchair watching them.
Once they've walked (or in Ted's case, wheeled) around half the zoo, they took a break for lunch. Mr. and Mrs Bell bought fries and chicken with a lava cake for dessert for the children. Since there was only one, Ted didn't eat a single bite of the dessert, even though he finished way before Nugget.
"Nugget's Little Brother has not eaten any of the delectable lava cake. Is Nugget's Little Brother not hungry for dessert?" Nugget asked Ted in concern, making Ted look up at him in confusion.
"Isn't the lava cake for you? It's usually always dessert time for Felix first. I get to have any thing that he didn't finish." Ted commented innocently, not noticing Nugget's gripe on his fork tightening.
"Do not be silly Nugget's Little Brother, we shall share the lava cake in two. Nugget gets one, and you get the other." Nugget said as he cut the lava cake into two pieces, giving Ted the biggest piece while he got the smaller one. Mr. Bell chuckled in amusement before he cut Ted's piece and put some of it on Nugget's plate so it was equal.
"Since your brothers, you both get equal parts." Mr. Bell said, correcting Nugget on what he said earlier. Nugget giggled before he shoved some cake in his mouth happily, Ted eating some also, but in a slower pace.
Once everyone was done eating, they went to where all the animals who lived in the cold. They saw waddling penguins, large fat seals, and even saw polar bears with their small cubs. Ted couldn't help but stare in awe at the polar bears with their cubs, silently wondering if families were supposed to protect each other like that.
By the time they had the leave, Ted and Nugget fell asleep on the car, Ted's head resting on Nugget's shoulder while Nugget held onto him protective, even in his sleep. Mrs. Bell giggled and took a picture of the two, Mr. Bell smiling at his little family.
