Synth walked through the villlage, he smiled as he headed for the ice cream stand, he was really in the move for ice cream. Blue berry ice cream that is.

Synth loved blueberry ice cream,it was his favorite flavor of ice cream. Synth smiled the moment that he got his ice cream and began to lick it, he closed his eyes and smiled. He continued licking his ice cream, he headed to the nearby bench and sat down, this was the perfect place to enjoy his ice cream. 

Synth began to lick his ice cream faster and faster and finally unable to resist the temptation anymore, he took a big bite out of it.

Immediately, he regretted it, his eyes widdened, he felt a sharp pain in his head,  he grabbed his head groaning. He was experiencing a brain freeze. 

Synth whimpered, he didn't like brainfreezes, why did he take a big bite? The ice cream fell from his hand and would have fallen to he floor with a splat when suddenly a light purple hand reached out and caught it just in time.

"Whew that was a close call synth."A familliar voice said. Despite the brainfreeze synth was experiencing,synth smiled, it was his best friend, lsguna tidepool.

Laguna sat next to synth and smiled sympatheticly. "Brain freeze?" she asked. Synth nodded groaning as he held his head in pain.

Laguna smiled gently. "Synth, listen to me. you need to press your tongue against the roof of your mouth. It will help to stop the brainfreeze."

Synth without hessitation pressed his tongue against the roof of his mouth and slowly,gradually, the pain lessened and finally went away.

Synth sighed with relief and sat up.

Laguna smiled."Feeling better?" she asked

Synth nodded. "Thanks laguna you're a life saver. How did you know to do that?"

Laguna chuckled. "From experience and research. here." She handed synth back his ice cream. "Try not to take such big bites."

Synth blushed ."I'll take smaller bites. Thanks again laguna.You're amazing."

Laguna smiled at the compliment. "Glad I could help.Well, off to get my blueberry ice cream."

Synth was surprised"You like blueberry ice cream?" he asked

Laguna nodded "It's my favorite flavor." she replied before heading to the ice cream cart. 

Synth smiled as he watched her go. She looked so beautiful, oh how he longed to hold her in his arms and kiss her. His eyes opened and he realized he was kissing his ice cream, he blushed and resumed eating his ice cream. He smiled thoughtfully, perhaps them liking the same ice cream was a sign, they were ment to be together. He wanted to go up and confess his feelings but stopped,probably not the best time. Maybe..someday... someday very soon he's tell her.

Laguna looked back and sighed happily, perhaps someday she would tell synth that she liked him.  She licked her ice cream as she walked off.
