~ Important Author's Note (Pls Read) ~
For starts I can't believe I made a part 2. Anyway, if you didn't read the end author's note of last part I'll tell you again. This part was originally suppose to be in last part but I decided to split it up. Mainly because I thought the Solar x Ruin moment should be its own thing. That Solar and Ruin reconnecting and meeting again should be separate. Other than that, I don't know how long this will be, it could be short or it could be long, it really depends how much my brain can think of. So with that being said I hope you guys enjoy ;3

~ Solar's POV ~

After I got to that door I took a deep breath and opened it. I then stepped inside to see Ruin laying on his side back facing the door. To my surprise he was still only laying on one side of the bed like he was expecting someone to lay beside him.

Ruin apparently didn't hear any of the doors open not even the one that lead into the bedroom itself. However I did notice that he seemed to be softly weeping. That's when I sat beside him and he only reacted when he felt something sit next to him.

Ruin: "Who's there?"

Solar: "It's ok hun, it's just me."

- Current Part -
~ Solar's POV ~

After I said that, I noticed Ruin to apparently show how he felt by resorting to his theater speak like the drama king he was. It honestly sounded like he was reciting some sort of act.

However, knowing Ruin and dating him for as long as I have, this wasn't an act he was reciting. This was just what he resorts to in order to show emotion sometimes.

Ruin: *scoffs* "Of course. Another hallucination. Alas my guilts over Solar mustn't leave me be. Oh I should've guessed."

Solar: "Hallucination?"

Ruin: "Just leave me be. I know my actions will forever haunt me."

Solar: "Hun, I'm no hallucination."

Ruin: *says in a whisper on the verge of tears* "They always say that."

Solar: "What if I told you this time it's not."

Ruin: "I shan't believe you! Just... Just go! Leave me to writhe in my sorrow in peace!"

He was actually crying now yet still theater speaking.

Solar: "Honey..."

Ruin: "No! I deal with you daily! How is this one any different!? It's not! LEAVE ME ALONE!! I KNOW MY ACTIONS HAVE THEIR CONSEQUENCES!!"

Solar: "Sweetheart... please."

Ruin: "I refuse to believe it! Solar Is Dead!! I Was The One Who Killed Him!! It's My Fault He's Gone!!"

Solar: "Ruin..."

Ruin: "I Could've Saved Him If I Was Just Given More Time!!"

Solar: "Hun, I'm not mad at you. Please look at me."

Ruin: "No! You're Just A Damn Hallucination! There Is No Point In Looking If You'll Just Disappear On Me!!

Solar: "Ruin, Dear."

Ruin: "Again, Just Leave Me Be!! You Are Nothing More Than My Own Thoughts Haunting Me!"

Solar: "Ruin..."

Ruin: "WHY!! WHY MUST MY CONSCIOUSNESS CONTINUE TO TORMENT ME THIS WAY DAY AFTER DAY!!? NIGHT AFTER NIGHT!!? WHY MUST IT MAKE ME SUFFER!!?"

Solar: .....

Ruin: "I... I Didn't MEAN To Kill Him! I... I Wanted SAVE Him! I TRIED To Save Him!!"

That's when he was on the verge of sobbing almost uncontrollably. I didn't know how to react. In fact it hurt me to see it.

Ruin: "But alas I couldn't. I lost my true love that day to the actions of my own hand and continuously regret it. My actions will forever haunt me with hallucinations reminding me of the one I couldn't save. The one I allowed myself close enough to court with. Why must I be tormented with such haunting memories."

Solar: "Ruin... I'm... I'm not a figure of your imagination. I'm here... I... I actually am honey. Please, please look at me."

Ruin: "Just please, shut up and leave me be. Let me morn thy lover in peace. What I did will forever haunt me and I shall forever accept that even though it hurts..."

Solar: "Ruin..."

When I didn't leave him alone, I could tell me saying that was his final breaking point. He finally got up quickly and tried to attack me. In fact, he was successful at doing so and did attack me.

Yet unlike how I assume he thought I would just disappear like a hallucination would, I didn't. Instead we were both knocked to the ground.

Solar: "Ow! Fuck!"

When I said that his anger immediately dissipated into sadness as he realized I was real. In fact he was now sitting basically straddle on my waist just slightly above my lower area.

Ruin: "S-Solar.

Solar: "Yeah. Hi." *groans from a little pain*

Ruin: "S-Solar Darling, i-is it really you?"

Solar: "I don't know who else I'd be."

Ruin: .....

Solar: "Fuck that hurt... mmph."

That's when I opened my eyes and saw Ruin's fill with tears as he sat looking down at me. He then out of nowhere decides to unexpectedly lay down on top of me fully and wrap his arms around me, specifically my neck.

When he did that he actually broke into crying against my chest. It was hard but I was able to readjust us to siting against the wall.

In fact after I readjusted us I was also able to reach up and turn the lights on as well since we were right below the switch. After that I returned the hug and placed one of my hands on the back of Ruin's head.

Ruin: *softly says through sobs* "I'm sorry. I'm so terribly sorry Darling."

Solar: "It's ok Hun. I'm not hurt. At least not that bad."

Ruin: "No... I...I'm so terribly sorry S-Solar Darling. I... I never wanted to kill you, I never Meant to kill you. I... I tried to save you. I... I just couldn't. I-If I just had more time I-"

Soar: "No. No need to apologize for that hun. What I said is true, I'm not mad at you. I never was."

Ruin: "But... B-But what I did was awful. Y-You deserve to be mad at me. Y-You should be mad at me. Please."

Solar: "No. I understand. I understand you. I understand you did what you did and had to do what you had to do. What you did was for the greater good. You did it to get rid of another huge problem we would've had in the future."

Ruin: .....

Solar: "Listen, what you did was good even if it costed the collapse of 5321 dimensions including my own. I was just one of the millions of unlucky souls hun."

Ruin: .....

Solar: "So if anything, I feel liked I died and was sacrificed for a greater purpose. I was satisfied with my end. You did me a favor in the sense that my dimension was already gone after my Moon went insane. But I'm back now and couldn't be happier to see you."

Ruin: "Darling..."

Solar: "Again, it's ok hun. I'm not mad at you. Nothing you do could ever make me mad or hate you for it. You could go back to working with villains or be a villain yourself and I'd still never hate you. I love you way too much dear. My love for you is greater than anything you could do and that's a fact."

Ruin: "Solar..."

Solar: "It's more than true Hun."

Ruin: *says in a soft way* "I... I love you"

Solar: "I love you too."

Ruin: "H-How did you come back?"

Solar: "To be honest, I don't quite know myself. All I know is based on what Sun and Moon told me. And from what they told me is that my dimensional code was switched with Eclipse's. That Eclipse did it himself then fled to a new dimension as to not cause problems of co-existing with me."

Ruin: "Because two Eclipses with the same dimensional code can't exist in the same dimension."

Solar: "Yeah."

Ruin: "Why'd he do it?"

Solar: "Again, that's something I honestly don't know myself Hun. I think it's because even if he won't admit it, he grew to care."

Ruin: "Heh, I knew my creation of Eclipse would be my magnanimous and would expand far past what I originally created him for."

Solar: "And he did."

Ruin: "I couldn't be more proud."

Solar: "Yeah. Anyway, I hate to be that person but could we move to the bed?"

Ruin: "O-Of course. I... I overstayed the boundaries of you."

Solar: "No, I don't mind. In fact I like it. I just don't want to sit on the uncomfortable floor anymore."

Ruin: "F-Fair enough"

Ruin then awkwardly clears his throat and gets off me. That's when I stand up myself and brush myself off too.

While I was doing that I couldn't help but catch Ruin staring at me with a bright blush now. This makes me unexpectedly snap a little, and it's more aggressive than I thought it would be.

Solar: "What!"

Ruin: "N-N-Nothing Dear Solar. M-M-My sincere a-apologies Darling. I... ahem... I didn't mean to stare."

Solar: "What?"

Ruin: "N-Nothing. I just... I just haven't gotten a proper look at your... a-at your new body until now."

Solar: "Oh?"

Ruin: "Do you mind if I perhaps... get a better look?...*blushes hardcore again stuttering words*... W-With your permission o-of course!"

Solar: "I mean sure. I did it to you when I saw your new body for the first time. So it would only be fair."

Ruin: "M-Much appreciate it Dear."

With that Ruin gathers himself together and calms down. After that he comes up to me and looks me up and down and even behind me as well as close up.

He even went so far sat to like lifting my arms or holding them thus studying every inch of me very closely. This of course makes me blush pretty hard now too but I try to force it back.

Ruin: "Oh my. You look... you look amazing Darling. Absolutely stunning. Way better than I ever could do."

Solar: "O-Oh?" *clears throat from being nervous and blushy*

Ruin: "Yes. My... the handy work, the craftsmanship, just everything. Did Eclipse build this or no?"

Solar: *snaps a little from almost going into heat* "I don't know! I woke up in a test tube and had to break out!"

Ruin: "Oh?"

Solar: "Yes! I woke up alone in a lab! Heck, I wasn't even wearing shoes! I was in socks Ruin!"

Ruin: "O-Oh..."

Solar: *calms self down* "Yes. Everything I have besides the shirt, hoodie around my waist, pants, and socks I had to buy. Sun bought me the boots. I bought the goggles and the gloves."

Ruin: "Interesting."

Solar: "Yeah..."

Ruin: "Then based on what you said and how you woke up, Eclipse must've had to computerize build you back together atom by atom."

Solar: "No shit. You basically, no you did vaporize me when your device collapsed my dimension."

Ruin: "A-Apologies again Darling."

Solar: *sighs* "It's ok. Again, I'm not mad at you hun. I could never be."

Ruin: "I know."

Solar: "Other than that... I should apologize too."

Ruin: "Why?"

Solar: "When I caught you staring I kinda snapped at you way more aggressively than I should've."

Ruin: "Oh, I didn't even notice."

Solar: "I figured you didn't."

Ruin: ....

When ruin went silent, I head over to our bed and sat on it. I then untied my boots and leaned back against the pillows and backboard of the bed. Once I did that Ruin caught the drift and climbed in the bed next to me. He rested his head against my shoulder so I placed my arm around him. We were now both sitting in bed snuggling up together. I then continued speaking.

Solar: "So like I said, when I caught you staring I snapped at you way more aggressively than I should've. There's a reason for that so I'll warn you ahead of time."

Ruin: "Oh?"

Solar: "Now that I'm back you might notice me doing that more often than I did prior. Just know I don't always mean it."

Ruin: .....

Solar: "Basically what I'm saying is since coming back I might be and act a little different than I did before my death. I know I'm different I feel different but not by much."

Ruin: "Different how?

Solar: "More aggressive, easily annoyed and agitated, shorter tempered, yell a bit more, easier to snap. Basically all my negative emotions and/or traits more amplified."

Ruin: "Oh? Why is that?"

Solar: "Remember how I said the way I was brought back was apparently by Eclipse using his dimensional code to rewrite mine?"

Ruin: "Oh... that makes sense."

Solar: "So you pieced it together and figured it out before I could even explain it."

Ruin: "Yes. So because Eclipse used his dimensional code to rewrite yours... you may act more like Eclipse."

Solar: "Yeah. So a side effect from that might be having my negative Eclipse emotions and traits amplified a little like I said. Some days just might be worse than others though."

Ruin: "Figured."

Solar: "At least it won't be a huge change because I was originally just an Eclipse but one that was not an asshole."

Ruin: "Right. In fact now that I think about it, you acting more like Eclipse might not be that massive of a change either way."

Solar: "Oh?"

Ruin: "Indeed. Remember how I brought Eclipse back in the first place?"

Solar: "Yes. How could I not? You were the one who quite literally knocked me out and copied my code to make Eclipse. Only you changed his memories to the ones of his prior versions aka V1, V2, and V3."

Ruin: "Correct. So even if you do act differently it's not by much considering I originally used your code to bring back Eclipse. Then from the way you put it, Eclipse basically used his which was originally yours to make the you now."

(A/n: My brain hurts from thinking about that but if you look into it, it's true. Solar's code was originally copied and used to make Eclipse which Eclipse probably used to remake the Solar we have now. So it's technically just the same reused over and over dimensional code 🤣. Anyway, back to the oneshot.)

Solar: "Yeah. But either way my negative emotions are still going to amplified."

Ruin: "True."

Solar: "So because of that, I still do apologize in advance if I end up being more of a jerk on certain days. I don't always mean it. I just can't help it."

Ruin: "It's quite alright Darling. In fact if you're still the same Solar. So if one of those days happens, you'll just apologize to me again anyway."

Solar: "Yeah..."

Ruin: ....

Solar: "Other than that, that was one of the reasons for me snapping at you more than I should've when you stared. It's just been a little bad because I didn't get good sleep, I guess at this point last night. My mind kept thinking about you and it wouldn't stop which is what was keeping me awake."

Ruin: "I... Aww Darling."

Solar: "Yeah. So because of that, I am a bit tired thus making me a bit more agitated, annoyed, and overall grumpy."

Ruin: "You're fine Darling."

Solar: "Heh, I guess I've just missed you a lot since I haven't seen you since waking back up from being dead."

Ruin: "If you don't mind me asking, how long have you been back?"

Solar: "Two weeks."

Ruin: "Two weeks! Why didn't I ever see you! Why didn't Sun or Moon or Lunar or Earth or anyone tell me about your return!"

Solar: "Because they apparently still don't trust you. In fact I've noticed they try to actively avoid you unless they need something from you."

Ruin: "Bullshit!"

Solar: "I know."

Ruin: "Why didn't you come tell me sooner then?"

Solar: "I'll be honest, I haven't been here in the theater much. And when I am I'm always working. After work I'm honestly just too tired for anything else and head home."

Ruin: "Home?"

Solar: "Yeah."

Ruin: "Where have you been staying Darling?"

Solar: "Sun and Moon's house."

Ruin: "That old place?"

Solar: "They moved. They no longer have the beach front property on the ocean. It's a different house on a lake front property now. And it's definitely a manor more than a house."

Ruin: "Oh?"

Solar: "Yeah. So because it's so big I as well as Sun, Moon, Lunar, Dazzle, Jack, Polaris, and Luna all live there."

Ruin: *says in a jealous tone* "Of course. I am never updated on anything."

He then flips over and decides to lay with his back facing me.

Solar: "Oh honey don't be like that."

Ruin: *still sounding jealous* "How about you go back to living with your family. Continue being a family member accepted into the family while I stay here and rot."

Solar: "Ok, what's with the sudden mood swing."

Ruin: "Buzz off."

Solar: "Hun..."

Ruin: *sighs* "It's nothing Dear. I'm just tired of being continuously treated like some sort of fucking outcast or disease no one wants because that's what I am. That's all I'll ever be to them."

Solar: "Ruin..."

Ruin: "You and Luna are the only ones who have ever showed proper kindness to me in the time I've been here "cured" from my virus. Everyone else just tolerates me but I know they still despise me. They always will." *tears up*

Solar: "Ruin, I'm not going back there."

Ruin: "Why not? You're part of their family now. I never will be."

Solar: "Never say never Hun."

Ruin: "Why?"

Solar: "You do realize, you'll at some point be forced to be in the family whether they all like it or not."

Ruin: "What do you mean by that?"

Solar: "Like, hypothetically speaking... if I were to propose to you and marry you down the line, you'll be their brother-in-law. Thus forcing you into the family since I'm now seen as a brother."

Ruin: "P-Propose? M-Marry?"

Solar: *blushes* "I-It was hypothetical Ruin!"

Ruin: "I-I know... b-but the thought."

Solar: "Fair... ahem"

Ruin: "Y-Yeah."

Solar: "A-Anyway!... *pulls self together*...Ruin, I decided to moved out because I missed you. I wanted to continue to live and share a room with you. You're my boyfriend and you always will be."

Ruin: ....

Solar: "Do you know how hard it was the past 2 weeks since my return to just sit back and watch as Sun and Moon interacted with their lovers on certain days? I always felt like I was third wheeling something. They had their partners, so all I could do was miss mine. I wouldn't have left if I didn't want to be with you."

Ruin: "Really?"

Solar: "Yes."

When I say that I feel Ruin shift next to me. He had placed his head on my chest. So I just wrap my arm around him.

Ruin: "I've missed you Darling"

Solar: "I've missed you too."

And I'm ending this here. I was planning on writing more but it was getting too long so I decided to make a part 3. Part 3 should hopefully be out soon just be patient. I really liked writing this. In fact a little fun fact here, the lines Ruin said that started with "But alas I couldn't" and the rest of what he said there actually made me choke up and cry a little when I was reading it aloud to edit it. It made me cry and I was the one who wrote it XD. Other than that I hope you guys enjoyed this oneshot as it was approximately 3371 words in all by the end of it. So until next time...
