~ Important Author's Note (Pls Read) ~
Ok so first things first, because of still having writer's block I don't know how I'm gonna make this into a full oneshot. However, I'll try to make this a full oneshot to the best of my ability. Other than that, this oneshot isn't at all based on anything. No video no nothing. It is basically just a sweet cute idea I've been getting as a passing thought on and off for the past month.

Basically, the idea is that because spring and autumn are my favorite seasons specifically because I think they're the most beautiful, especially autumn with its warm golden hue it has all day that only gets a richer golden as it gets later and later into the day I decided to write this. So as you can expect the oneshot takes place in autumn specifically in November so it's after Halloween. The main idea I have is that Ruin and Solar decide to go on a walk as a small date due to how pretty it's been. That it's one of the last times they can go out before winter without having to dress in winter gear. Only this time, unlike my spring fling oneshot, Solar is the one that decides to drag Ruin outside. On their walk they collect little decorations such as pinecones and pretty autumn leaves as decorations for Thanksgiving. During their walk they stop at a coffee shop and I'll just go with whatever I can from there.

So with that being said, I hope you guys enjoy this oneshot and whatever I come up with for it. ;3

~ Solar's POV ~

It was morning and I had just woken up from sleeping and checked my phone seeing that it read 10am. I also realized I was alone in bed too probably because Ruin got tired of waiting for me to get up and left on his own volition. Because of just waking up I continued to lay in bed thinking to myself as I stared up at the ceiling with my hands behind my head.

I've notice that I've been sleeping in a lot more lately probably due to the time change even if we did gain an extra hour of sleep. I'm just still always exhausted. I honestly swear "always being tired or sounding irritated" is my entire personality sometimes aside from being "the nice eclipse" or "the mechanic".

Either way, it's been about 11 or 12 days since the events of what happened on Halloween and it's been rough on all of us. Being the most rough on Sun the past 2 weeks. At least he's finally seemed to be feeling a little better after killing Nexus as he's been acting a little like his normal self again.

Anyway, it's been November for about 2 weeks now and I'm honestly just glad I found Ruin. He l has been staying in the Fazcade since apparently coming back from the dimension Eclipse and Puppet moved too.

Even with staying at the Fazcade I have been able to talk him into living in our bedroom above the ballpit with me again as well as the ever so often staying at Sun and Moon's manor too. Even if they're all still not very fond of Ruin. They still only tolerate him because of him being my boyfriend who they know makes me happy.

Yeah, if you couldn't tell at this point I kinda just live in 2 places depending how I'm feeling. Sometimes it's the Pizzaplex other times it's the manor with everyone else besides Earth.

Other than that, it's been quite beautiful out like autumn normally is however it has been getting colder and colder with each passing day as the autumn season has been slowly turning to winter. So I honestly wanted to at least go out and enjoy one day before winter rolls in.

In fact, I think it would be fun to collect leaves and pine cones for decorations for Thanksgiving this year. However, I wasn't going to go out on my own. I wanted to make it a sweet date for Ruin and I. I mean it's been a while since we were able to go on one with everything that's been going on.

So with that I finally get up from the bed and leave Ruin and I's bedroom in search of Ruin. Ruin was most likely in the Fazcade like he has been and working on something. So once I got out of the room I head up to the back of the Fazcade where Ruin has been working and knock on the metal door before walking inside.

Ruin: "Yes?"

Solar: "It's Solar, can I come in?"

Ruin: "Sure thing Dear~"

With that I open the door to see him intensely working on something with the monitors.

Solar: "What the hell have you even been working on lately?"

Ruin: "Honestly, I don't quite know myself. I just feel as if I have to do something useful to stay out of everyone's way."

Solar: "You're still fed up on nobody besides me being fond of you huh."

Ruin: "Perhaps."

Solar: "Hun, you know the kids love you. The ones you put performances on for."

Ruin: "I know. It's just I wish I wasn't hated by everyone else."

Solar: "Ruin..."

Ruin: "I know I know."

Solar: "We really gotta get you a better more suitable place for you to work."

Ruin: "I've been searching for a lab but can't find one."

Solar: "I know you have."

Ruin: "Indeed. Now I hate to sound rude Darling but what is it that you need of me?"

Solar: "Nothing."

Ruin: "Nothing?"

Solar: "Correct."

Ruin: "Then what?"

Solar: *has a soft smirk* "I simply just want to ask you on a date."

Ruin: *softly blushes* "D-Date?"

Solar: "Yeah, it's been a while since we went on one together. I think the last one we did was back in April maybe May. So it's been long overdue in my opinion."

Ruin: "Asking me out? Really?"

Solar: "Yes."

Ruin: "Even after I betrayed all of you again to work with Dark Sun and Nexus?"

Solar: "Yes."

Ruin: "But..."

Solar: "Hun, I've said it multiple times and I'll keep saying it. There is nothing you can do that will ever make me hate you. You know I love you more than anything and always will."

Ruin: "Darling..."

Solar: "Please."

Ruin: "Solar..."

Solar: "Listen, the reason I'm asking you out is because I feel as if you've been more distant lately since coming back from working for the villains. You sleep with me only to wake up before me and leave. Or just flat out ignore me during work hours."

Ruin: ......

Solar: "I honestly just miss my boyfriend. I miss hanging out with him."

Ruin: .....

Solar: "Plus, aside from that, you've been cooped up inside working on something in here or doing your performances for a while. And it's not good. So I'll drag you out if I need to."

Ruin: "Darling..."

Solar: "Come on hun, it's again been a long while since we went out together."

Ruin: *sighs* "I suppose you're right."

Solar: "Exactly, so what do you say? Will you go out for a little while with me?"

After saying that, I hold out my hand and just wait. When I did that Ruin sighs and takes it.

Ruin: *with a soft smile* "Ok."

Solar: "Perfect."

We then left the Fazcade and the Pizzaplex entirely.

Ruin: "Where are we going?"

Solar: "No place really. Kinda just getting out like we did in spring. Though I do want to stop at the near by coffee shop."

Ruin: "Of course you do."

Solar: "What's that suppose to mean?"

Ruin: *chuckles* "Nothing dear."

Solar: "Listen, I didn't have a coffee this morning ok."

Ruin: "That explains why you look and sound so tired"

Solar: "Hey!"

Ruin: *laughs* "Relax, I'm just friendly teasing you darling."

Solar: "Shut up."

Ruin: "Heh, love you too Darling."

I just roll my eyes and continued on our way. Once we were there we head inside and order drinks. To Ruin's surprise I ended up getting one of the seasonal pumpkin spice lattes that always come around during September through November instead of the usual black coffee I drink.

Ruin: "Wow. I did not expect you to be one to like seasonal coffees."

Solar: "I don't. I'll always prefer my black coffee over any other coffee. However, I do drink these ever so often when they come out when I feel like it."

Ruin: *teases* "Who are you and what did you do with my Solar Darling."

Solar: *chuckles* "Fuck you."

After saying that to him Ruin just gives a little bit of chuckle himself.

Solar: "I'm assuming you want tea?"

Ruin: "No shit."

Solar: "Figured."

I then ordered a tea for Ruin and payed.

Ruin: "Darling, you didn't have to order me one. I could've done it myself."

Solar: "Nonsense, I know what you like and wanted to treat you.

Ruin: "Darling..."

Solar: "Don't mention it."

After I said that we wait for our orders talking while we waited.

Ruin: "Solar?"

Solar: "Hm?"

Ruin: "Don't take this in the wrong way but...why are you being so much... nicer?... than you usually are. Not saying you never are because you are really but this is just... like it's... I guess... amplified more."

Solar: "I'm just I guess, in a really good mood. Like more than usual. Woke up on the right side of the bed instead of the wrong side I guess"

Ruin: "Why?"

Solar: "I honestly don't know myself. Maybe it's just the fact that I finally got you to go out with me after months. I mean like I said earlier our last date was back in April or May. So it's been a while."

Ruin: "Perhaps."

Solar: "Yeah."

Ruin: "I like this side of you. I wish you were like this more often."

Solar: "Don't get use to it."

Ruin: "I know. I love you any way you are. Whether that be exceptionally happy and in a good mood like this, angry, irritable, annoyed, neutral, whatever. I just love you for you Darling."

Solar: "I know. As do I with you."

After that we finally get our orders. Once we did we then go find a table to sit at and enjoy them. After a little while of mild chit chat Ruin kinda just goes quiet. Curious I kinda look over him to see he was staring down at his cup of tea griping it with 2 hands while it just sat on the table. Something was up.

Solar: "Hey, you kinda just went quiet suddenly. Is something up hun?"

Ruin: "No, I... I'm splendid dear."

Solar: "You sure? If something is up or you need to say something you can tell me."

Ruin: "I know."

Solar: "Ruin..."

Ruin: *sighs* "I should've said this sooner."

Solar: "Said what sooner hun?"

That's when he says in a sincere way but still looking down.

Ruin: "I apologize for being so distant as of late Darling."

Solar: "That? That's it?"

Ruin: "Mmhm."

Solar: "Ruin, it's fine hun. I don't mind you being distant. A lot happened in October and I wouldn't suspect anything else from you. What happened was hard on all of us. We all dealt with it in different ways."

Ruin: "No. It's not just that."

Solar: "Then what?"

Ruin: "What I did prior to October. Joining Dark Sun and Nexus then working for them."

Solar: "It's fine honey. I don't hate you for it. In fact unlike everyone else I understand it's your survival instinct. You lean towards whatever side benefits you as a quick haste full action to survive because you don't want to die. You've always done that. For 50 years hun and it's understandable knowing your backstory like I do."

Ruin: "I know. But still, other than working for them distancing myself from you after October was not something I should've done."

Solar: "Ruin..."

Ruin: "I miss hanging out with you Dear I really do. It's just, I suppose by leaving the dimension without telling anyone and working with Dark Sun and Nexus still makes me feel... wrong. As if you and everyone else hate me all over again even if you personally tell me that you don't and never will. So I still just did what I thought was best when I returned and distanced myself from everyone after the 31st which included you."

Solar: "Ruin, it's fine hun, really it is. I again completely understand why you did what you did. We all need space ever so often. And believe me when I say this, even if the others are still not fond of you or upset at what you did, you always have me on your side. I promise you that."

Ruin: "Thank you Solar."

Solar: "Of course."

When I said that I see Ruin give me a smile.

Solar: "Anyway, I think we've been here long enough, let's head out and continue the day.

Ruin: "Alright."

With that the two of us got up from the table and were about to head out. However before we did Ruin just suddenly hugs me. It fought me off guard at first but do return it.

Ruin: *whispers* "I love you."

Solar: *smiles* "I love you too hun."

Ruin: "Again, I'm so sorry for distancing myself from you for so long."

Solar: "And again, it's fine. I know you had your reason for it."

We then both let go.

Solar: "Now, like I said, let's go enjoy the rest of the day together."

Ruin: "Y-Yeah"

He then picks up his tea while I picked up my coffee and we left the coffee shop. Once we left we continued walking down the road in the cool but also still a little warm weather of autumn.

Ruin: "Where are we going to now? Like what's the point of the date besides just going to a coffee shop?"

Solar: "I honestly wanted to go to the park like we did back in spring. Only this time it should be more colorful due to autumn leaves."

Ruin: "Oh! That sounds wonderful darling. Especially with the lighting right now."

Solar: "Exactly."

Ruin: "Let us go then."

Solar: "That's the plan."

We then continued down the sidewalk until we got to the park. And just as we expected it was beautiful.

Solar: "There is actually a reason I wanted to come here and it's not just because of it being a beautiful date spot."

Ruin: "Oh? What is that?"

Solar: "God, this is gonna sound so stupid."

Ruin: "No it won't. Tell me darling."

Solar: "You know how Thanksgiving is coming up?"

Ruin: "Yes."

Solar: *sighs* "I honestly wanted to come here because of wanting to collect things to decorate the table and the house in general. Things such as pinecones and the colorful leaves. I aways watched my Sun do this in my home dimension when we shared a body. He always loved doing that. So when we separated I continued the tradition to keep it alive for him even if it hurt me."

Ruin: "Aww that's not stupid at all darling. That's actually really sweet."

Solar: "Exactly. Which makes me wonder if this dimension's Sun would appreciate it too. I know he likes to decorate, Halloween was obvious enough."

Ruin: "He probably would."

Solar: "Yeah. Then when December comes around, I feel like the kids would love to decorate the pinecones like little Christmas Trees. Especially Dazzle since she loves doing arts and crafts."

Ruin: "That's sweet of you to think about them like that."

Solar: "I mean Dazzle and Twila are my nieces and Jack is my son, so all I want is to see them happy."

Ruin: "Fair enough. Plus, I dare say that does make sense as to why you brought those bags now."

Solar: "I... *blushes out of awkward embarrassment*... Y-Yeah."

Ruin: "Don't be such ashamed Darling. Give me one of the bags and I shall gladly help you with this tradition."

Solar: "Alright."

With that I hand him one of the bags and we started collecting pinecones and colorful leaves for decorating.

And I'm ending this oneshot here. However, I do have more ideas for this oneshot so I am planning on making a part 2. Hopefully I can get part 2 out soon. Either way I hope you guys enjoyed this first part of the oneshot as it was approximately 2800 words in all by the end of it. So until next time...
