- Last Part -
~ Solar's POV ~

With that I smile and hold my hand out for him to take it.

Ruin: "Oh Solar, a-are you sure?"

Solar: "Positive. I mean you are my date right?"

Ruin: "I... *sighs*... y-yes."

Solar: "Then don't be shy."

With that I see him blush and he cautiously takes my hand. I could tell he was nervous as he was shaking and his plans were even a bit sweaty somehow. Noticing that with Ruin only made even myself nervous along with him. We both ended up being a blushing mess but still held each other's hand.

We then tried to shake it off and headed out of the Black Cat. Once out we walked down to the local movie theater. To watch something together.

- Current Part -
~ Solar's POV ~

When we got to the movie theater we looked at what movies were out then decided to watch a romantic comedy. I mean it was Valentine's Day so it only made sense. The comedy was specifically because of Ruin's movie taste. Apparently he likes that genre along with plays and musicals.

Once we decided on the movie we bought the tickets for it and headed inside. We also bought a few sweets and a bucket of popcorn to share. When we got our fair share of snacks and treats we headed inside the theater room the movie was playing in.

- Time Skip -

The movie was 2 hours long but enjoyable nonetheless. I'm glad we went out to one. In fact because of the movie we watched I feel like we may have even gotten a little closer than we were before. We then picked up conversation while we exited the theater

Solar: "That was fun."

Ruin: "It was."

Solar: "So what do you want to do now?"

Ruin: "We were planning on going to the park... I-Is that still scheduled?"

Solar: "It can be. I'm more interested in what you want to do"

Ruin: "The park will be nice. I do enjoy a good stargazing like you."

Solar: "Alright, then it's settled. However I don't wanna stay there for long. I am starting to get a little tired."

Ruin: "As am I."

Solar: "Then we can stay at the park for maybe another hour or two then head back to the Pizzaplex. How does that sound?"

Ruin: "Oh that sounds wonderful."

Solar: "Let's go then."

With that we walked down the street once again hand in hand in the cool crisp night air of spring. It was still the peek of spring which caused the snow of winter to still line the streets as it sparkles in the moonlight. In fact it would still get so cold at night that it would still snow if it rains. Snow never really meals till late April sometimes even May.

The walk to the park took a few minutes as it was a few minutes away from the movies. Once at the park we walked through it a little until we got to a lake still semi-frozen over from the cold winter. We took a seat at a near by bench under a large tree that was just starting to bloom its new leaves from losing them during the autumn.

We looked at the stars seeing so many as well as a few shooting ones. Ruin had even started to rest his head against my shoulder just making me blush a bit. We stargazed for a little while until I felt something wash over me.

I couldn't tell if it was because of the alcohol I drank earlier in the night finally starting to take its toll on me but I just suddenly got the urge to finally tell Ruin my true feelings about him. Like I couldn't keep it bottled up anymore.

Solar: "Ruin..."

Ruin: "Hm?"

Solar: "So... I know this is random and kinda out of the blue but... there's a little something about me I want you to know."

Ruin: "O-Oh?"

Solar: "I've always been the honest-emotional type of drunk. I lean more on the "honest drunk" where I say shit I normally wouldn't say when sober. However I can also funny enough get emotional on occasion as well but that's more rare. Whether it's emotional for just being emotional or emotional over the honest truth I said. If I am more on the rare side of "emotional drunk" it's honestly the most you'll ever see me show actual emotion."

Ruin: "How much did you have?"

Solar: "More than you."

Ruin: "Clearly."

Solar: "However, I am still sober I didn't have enough to fully make me tipsy but I am a little."

Ruin: "I-I can tell."

Solar: "So, I'll be honest here... I don't know if it's the alcohol talking or if it really is just me but there's something I've been meaning to say."

Ruin: "Then spit it out!"

Solar: *sighs* "I may or may not have a small crush and attraction to you."

Ruin: "I..."

Solar: "I haven't said this to anyone else yet and I'm trying to keep it that way for as long as possible. I just had the urge to tell you. I had to tell you because I just can't keep it bottled up from you any longer."

Ruin: "S-Solar..."

Solar: "I've kept this secret for months and months. In fact, I first realized I had feelings for you when I protected you from Monty that one day he went up to you for information. And if you didn't give it to him he was going to possibly hurt you. I realized I couldn't let him rip you apart. I mean your body was already damaged enough as it was before you got this new one, yet it was because of the fact I cared and couldn't bare seeing him hurt you. This is also one of the reasons I went with Moon to save you from being kidnapped by Eclipse.

Ruin: ....

Solar: "I get it if you don't feel the same about me. I can take rejection. I just had to let you know. But again this could just be my slightly tipsy ass talking to you but I genuinely mean it."

Ruin: *starts to tear up* "S-Solar, even if it is your "tipsy ass" I... I don't care. I...*his drunk type kicks in making him cry.* I love you too!" *hugs and sobs against Solar's*

Ruin's sudden change in mood and sudden hug made me blush super hard but also feel entirely uncomfortable. I wasn't him expecting him to react this way. I didn't know what to do in that moment and just kinda froze.

Solar: "R-Ruin..."

Ruin: "I-I'm sorry... I... I just..." *sobs*

When Ruin couldn't stop crying that's when I realized Ruin's drunk type was just flat out emotional drunk. Honestly, fitting to his personality. So with that I just sigh and hug him trying to comfort him as best as I could.

Solar: "Ruin."

Ruin: "I... I... I'm sorry. I... *chokes on a sob* ...I don't wanna ruin your night. I-I feel like I did."

Solar: "Our night."

Ruin: "St-Still."

Solar: "You didn't ruin anything hun."

Ruin: *squeaks out* "H-Hun?"

Solar: "I mean... why not. You basically just admitted you loved me back. I think I can count that as one of the steps into being boyfriends in an official relationship."

As soon as I said that I immediately regretted it as it just caused Ruin to sob even more.

Solar: "Ruin..."

Ruin: "I-I'm sorry. I-I'm so sorry"

Solar: "How much did you have?"

Ruin: "E-Enough."

Solar: "Fair. I guess you're not the best at holding your alcohol are you."

Ruin: "N-No..."

Solar: "And from the acts of it... you're definitely the emotional drunk type aren't you."

Ruin: "I-I'm sorry" *sobs*

Solar: "It's ok. You don't need to apologize"

Ruin: "B-But I..."

Solar: "No, It's fine Ruin. I don't care."

Ruin: ....

Solar: "Let's just get you home hun. You can sleep with me tonight."

With that I just full on pick up Ruin to hold him like I would a kid. I mean Ruin is shorter than me so I could do it was pretty easily. However upon picking him up he immediately blushes through his sobs. I could tell because as soon as I did that I heard his internal fans start whirring like I caused him to overheat.

Ruin: "S-Solar!"

Solar: "Well that's one way to change your mood."

Ruin: "I..."

Solar: "Just relax hun, I gotcha."

Ruin: "O-Ok."

After he said that I feel him wrap his arms around my neck and rest his head on my shoulder only to hear him starting to sniffle again. This honestly made me give a soft chuckle while I walked to the Pizzaplex holding my assuming "New boyfriend" at this point.

And I'm ending it there. The next part should be out soon in fact like I said in last part I'm actually writing the next part to this oneshot as we speak. In fact I will give you guys a sneak peak of next part... Let's just say... Next Part Gets... Spicy~. Other than that I think one of my favorite things about this part was that you guys got to find out what "drunk type" my AU Solar and Ruin are. To be honest I think it suits their characters very well even in canon SAMS lore they ever were to ever get drunk. Funny enough I actually have a "drunk type" for the majority of my AU SAMS characters. If you're curious just ask in the comments I'll tell you XD. Anyway, enough of my ramble... this part did basically confirm that Solar and Ruin have decided to take on a relationship with each other. So with that being said I hope you guys enjoyed this oneshot as it was approximately 1714 words in all by the end of it. So until next time...
