~ATHAIA'S POV

WE arrived at the De'Medici mansion after two and a half hours. The limousines drove in between huge pine trees and armoured guards. Until we reached a huge mansion full of proficient butlers, luring around.

Kung may ibang salita pa na mas malalim sa huge and classic, then maybe yun na gagamitin ko.

Maliban sa malaki ay maganda talaga ang buong mansion. Maraming nakakalat na guards sa paligid at hindi ko na halos maalala ang dinaanan namin kanina papunta rito.

It's like the place is really hidden. Malawak na kakahuyan pa muna bago ka makarating dito kaya safe nga.

Sa labas ng malaking gold gate ay mga pine trees at dambuhalang armadong guards. They look scary and merciless so I really doubt a Stavros would dare harm us here.

Lahat kami ay namangha nang makababa at napagmasdan ang kabuoan ng lugar. Maxer even joked that he wanted to apply as a Butler. Malaki raw kasi talaga ang sahod. Shuta!

Nang makapasok sa loob ay hindi na namin napigilang mapatili sa tuwa. Buti nga si Hector nasa labas at kinakausap ang mga tauhan niya.

"You may pick your own room now. Don't need to share, there's enough rooms for all of you," Hector announced when he entered.

"Yessss! Ako doon sa gitna! Kuya maghanap ka ng sa'yo ah!" Caina immediately screamed as she ran off the stairs.

"Hoy, hintay! Pipili rin ako, grabe ang gara—ano 'to? Gold o antique?" Si insan ay sumunod agad. Napapatingin pa siya sa mga figurine na nasa landing ng hagdan.

Tapos ay sina Alexen at Stynx na nag-uunahan pa!

"Akin yung kwarto sa pinakahuli! Sa left wing!" Yvon shouted, going upstairs and leaving my laughing brother.

Tumawa ako at naisipang sumunod din sa kanila kaso nakaramdam ako ng hiya nang maalalang nanunuod nga pala si Hector.

He has this ridiculous smirk in his lips while watching them chaotically picking their room. Para bang ngayon lang ulit siya nakarinig ng sobrang papuri para sa mansion niya.

Kaya hindi na ako natuloy at ngumiwi na lang. Nang lingunin ako ni Zethary ay nag-peace sign nga lang ako para hindi niya mahalatang gusto ko rin sana gumaya.

"You wanna pick now? Go on, join them," marahan niyang sabi at tumango sa'kin.

Huh? Hindi kaya!

"Hindi, mamaya na ayuko gumaya sa kanila," ngiwi ko kunwaring sabi at nagkibit-balikat. I stifled my grin so hard.

"It's fine, Hector won't complain," hirit niya pa na may ngisi.

Tss, alam niya yata eh. Umiling lang ako kunware ayaw talaga.

"I'm not that interested," sus, Athaia. "Hindi naman nila mauubos ang mga kwarto, yaan mo sila diyan, mamaya na tayo," anas ko at ngumisi rin.

Si Thalia ay kinakausap si Hector, may lumapit na lalaking Butler at yumuko ng kaunti bago pinakinggan ang utos nila.

Taray, ang gara ng uniform. Ngayon ko lang nalaman na mayaman pala itong si Thalia.

Jackpot na jackpot si kuya. Kahit siguro hingan ko ang asawa niya ng sampung Lamborghini araw-araw hindi sila mamumulubi.

"Knave! Dito yung kwarto ko, hanap ka ng sa'yo ayaw kita kasama!" Sigaw ni Yvon na nasa second floor.

My brother grunted and ran fast upstairs, Coother went upstairs too, with their bags in his hands.

Ang iba hindi na dinala ang bag nila dahil ang mga butlers na mismo ang nag-akyat. Mga ingrata rin eh!

"We can pick our room now, you want me to accompany you, right?" Si Zeth at hinawakan ako sa bewang. His lips stretched into a curved.

"Hindi ah, pinapatapos ko lang sila."

"Talaga ba, bakit parang pinipilit mo lang ang sarili mo?"

"Akala mo lang yun, sus!"

"Hmm, okay, let's believe that," nang-aasar niyang sabi.

Masama ko siyang tinignan pero dinilaan lang niya ang labi at pilit pinakunot ang nuo.

His lips turned redder, the smirked he's been resisting forced out. I rolled my eyes then.

"Hector, are the rooms in the next floor occupied?" Tanong niya kay Hector kahit nasa akin ang tingin.

His eyes glistened as he stared at me in a long while. I suddenly felt something in my stomach at the way he look at me.

"No, not yet," Hector answered as if he knows what Zethary's thinking.

Napatingin tuloy si Kuya Ferrin sa'min. Kunot ang nuo at parang gustong magsalita pero dahil kinakausap ni Thalia ay tumalikod na lang.

I then glared to the man beside me. Pinandilatan ko siya ng mata pero ngumisi lang siya.

"Let's go, mia moglie...we'll choose the widest room," makahulugan niyang sabi kaya sinimangutan ko siya.

He clicked his tongue playfully as he dragged me by the waist. His hairy and veiny arm held me gently yet firmly behind.

Sa isang kamay ay ang malaki kong maleta na nilalaman lahat ng importante kong gamit at papeles.

His veins appeared in his mestizo skin, covered by a thin skin hairs. I saw his silver wrist watch then, my eyes squeeze as I giggled.

He looks hot in his white long sleeves polo and a black slacks. Even his hair is a bit messey. Nang magkatinginan kami ay nginisian ko siya. Siya naman ay nagtaas ng kilay at supladong umirap.

Hindi ko na napigilang tumawa habang paakyat kami ng third floor.

"You look hot and sexy today, bambino," malambing kong wika at sinundot-sundot ang tagiliran niya.

He just gazed at me darkly.

Hmm, kami lang ata ang piniling sa third floor maghanap ng kwarto. Sabi niya ang pinakamalawak daw. Surely may malaking kama yun, ha!

I scowled at him. Grimacing and showing that he's wrong.

"Exciting. Anong klase ng pagka-exciting?" Tanong ko at ngumuso.

Habang siya ay mariin na ang tingin sa'kin at may kakaibang ngisi sa labi. Kung makataas kilay pa akala mo naman asar na asar.

"Something dark."

I scoffed.

"Something deep."

I frowned. What?

"And something erotic," he said lastly with a mischievous smirk.

Pairap ko siyang tinignan ng taas-baba, kunware nagsusuplada. He chuckled smoothly and gave me a soft peck in the lips.

That was fast that I didn't see it coming.

"Isip mo eh, malikot." Umirap ako sa sinabi niya.

"Guni-guni mo lang 'yon,"

"Guni-guni kahit halata? Namumula, guni-guni? Hmm…guni-guni rin ba 'yon kung gawin natin?"

"What?!"

Bigla akong napasinghal sa sinabi niya. Saktong tumigil kami sa harap ng isang pintuan.

He hesitantly looked away to open the door while I tried so hard to have a glance of his whole good face.

"Ano 'yong sinabi mo?" Gagad ko.

Nabuksan niya na ang pinto kaya marahan niya akong kinaladkad papasok. May ngisi na sa labi.

"Sandali, narinig ko 'yon, Zethary Freñier! Gusto mo gawin natin?" Namumula kong sabi.

He chuckled soundly.

"Masyado talagang malikot," tawa niya nang balingan ako.

Ngumisi rin ako at gigil na kinurot ang tagiliran niya. Hindi man lang siya nag-react. Hindi rin umiwas ng tingin habang palakas ng palakas ang kurot ko. Inaabot niya pa 'yong switch ng ilaw at sinasara ang pinto.

"You want us to do it?"

"Hindi pa naman," nakangising saad niya.

Eksaherado akong umingos at gigil na gigil siyang kinurot pa. He let go of the bag and pulled me closer to him harshly.

My eyes widened at the move. He licked his lips, his eyes turned deeply dark and serious.

"Gusto mo eh. Sabihin mo lang kung gusto mo talaga." A smirked slowly crawled onto my lips. Teasing him subtly.

He just arched his brows though. His gripped tightened and instead it to hurt, it just sent shiver to me.

"Hindi pa nga, makakapaghintay pa ako," seryuso niyang sabi pero may ibang kislap ang mata.

I teasingly licked my lips and seductively dropped my eyes to his red lips. Hmm, looks so soft!

Let's see how far can his patience stretch.

"Bakit ka pa maghihintay? Nandito naman na oh, tayo lang nandito," nang-uuyam kong wika at hinaplos ang dibdib niya.

His hard chest is warm against my palm. Even covered by a thin cloth, I could feel his nerves trembling!

His jaw clenched as soon as my palm touched it. I felt his newly grown stubble. Ah, it tickles against my palm.

"Hindi pa ngayon," he said, gulping hard.

My smirk just widened. I sensually traced my forefinger down his big adam's apple while my other hand trailed upward, to his beautiful eyes.

"Bakit hindi pa ngayon? Pwede naman ah?"

"This isn't in my plan," he replied.

He let me traced his eyes and thick brows. While also caressing sensually his throat and neck. Dahil malapit kami ay naamoy ko ang pinaghalong pabango at natural niyang amoy. Matapang pero hindi masakit sa ilong.

He dragged the bag and just threw it harshly to the couch. At naupo siya sa tabi ko sabay pulupot ng mga braso sa'kin.

"Don't be in rush, bella signora, time will come and I will claim you every now and then." I can clearly sense and hear the amusement he's been hiding as he said those.

My world just stopped along with my embarrassment as I tried to tease him. Umingos ako pero ang mumunti niyang halakhak ay nilunod ang boses ko.

"Soon, you'll fully have my mark. In every inch of you, inside and out. Physically, mentally and emotionally, mia moglie. So don't beg for the very thing that I'm willing to give you…" his voice did not throw the amusement away. Kaya asar na asar ko siyang tinignan.

But then his bedroom voice sounded so sexy. Arg!

He locked my lips by a deep and assuring kiss. His arms immediately squeezed me gently and my eyes willingly dropped close.

May pasama pang halik sa balikat ko at nang-aasar na ngisi. Masama pero namumungay ko siyang tinignan kaya marahan siyang humalakhak.

Magaan ang tawa niya, at sa sobrang gaan ay kakaibang saya ang naramdaman ko. Parang bigla akong naiiyak.

The feeling of satisfaction and contentment filled my heart. I couldn't stop myself from reaching his soft hair then.

Natigil siya sa katatawa at seryuso akong tinignan pabalik. Hinuli niya ang kamay ko at dinala sa labi niya para sa marahang halik.

"You manipulated my world. You controlled it. Light it. Fueled it and you completed it," seryuso niyang sabi sa masuyong boses. "What will I do without you? Baka tuluyan na akong mawala sa katinuan, Athaia."

Pagod siyang sumubsob sa balikat ko at niyakap ako ng mahigpit. Ako na ang lumapit para mahalikan siya sa ulo. Kahit mahirap gawin.

"You are my world too, but my world don't just revolve around you. Because my world revolves around everything concerning you," nakangiti kong banat. "Actually, you are my world's orbit. But you are also my world's solar system, and is hopefully my galaxy. But then, you're originally my universe and so my gravity."

I felt him groaned. Nakangisi siyang umahon at tinignan ako na parang nawawala na ako sa katinuan.

Kinagat niya ang labi at sa huli tawang-tawa ng umupo habang tinitignan ako. Aba?! Agad akong umahon din at namewang.

"Why the hell are you laughing?! May nakakatawa ba sa sinabi ko?"

"Pfff. Wala wala."

"Then why the hell are you laughing at me?! Ginagago mo ba ako, Zethary Freñier?!" Asar kong singhal pero sumenyas lang siya ng tahimik.

Imagine him raising his forefinger in front of me, hushing me!

Tinabig ko ang daliri niya at sinapak siya sa dibdib.

"Ge. Bahala ka sa buhay mo. Walang honeymoon ah——"

"Come on, love. I'm just fluttered, I never imagined you saying those sweet words."

I licked my lowerlip. Kaasar talaga. Tumalikod ako at akmang bababa nang sunggaban niya ako mula sa likuran!

"Zethary?! Bakit ang pusok mo?"

Malandi kong tanong at kinindatan siya. Pero ngumisi lang siya at nawawala sa sariling umiling. I laughed sweetly and readied myself for his upcoming kiss when suddenly, the door of our room just opened!

"Tigil!"

"What the fuck?!"

"Kuya?!"

Halos sabay-sabay kaming tatlo na dumaing at suminghal. Si Kuya Knave ay may matagumpay na ngisi sa labi habang nakatingin kay Zethary habang rinig na rinig ko ang malalalim at nauubusan ng pasensiya na buntong hininga ng kayakap ko.

Para akong nahihilong napasapo sa nuo sa isiping sinadya niya talaga 'to para lang asarin kami!

"Baba na, kakain na," si kuya at walang pakialam na pumasok.

Diri-diritso siya at supladong sinipat ang asawa ko. Bakas ang asim sa mukha niya nang makita ang ayos namin.

"Let go of her now, fucktard," he said with utmost hate and dislike while coolly throwing the door key down and up.

"Kuya naman——"

"Bitaw na, Athaia. Halika na, kakain na tayo tapos saka tayo mag-usap," he cut me short.

Ngumuso ako at akmang iiling nang mag-italian siya sabay mura. Napaikot ako ng mata at sa huli ay tumayo na saka siya niyakap.

He hugged me by a hand with a silly whisper. "He's got a mistress, baby. Wanna watch the video later?"

I let out a deep sigh as I tiredly looked at him. What is this now? Mistress thingy na naman ba? Hindi pa ba tapos ang issue'ng 'yan?

"Kuya," I said with warning.

"Knave," Zethary mumbled with utter annoyance that I just heard now.

My brother smirked darkly. "My sister deserves to know, if you really does love her, you won't hide even the smallest thing you think doesn't matter."

"Kuya naman e," ungot ko at pagod na nagbuntong-hininga.

Lumamlam ang tingin siya sa'kin at kalaunan ay lumambot din. He gently kissed my head and hugged me tight by his right hand.

"I'm just protecting you, Athaia. Ferrin, Thaina and you are my family, always remember that even in my most non ideal situation, you'll be my top priorities. Alfaza heiresses shall never be wasted…" he smugly said, tossing a dark glare to my husband. "And whoever dare hurt them shall perish. Even if they are allies."

There you have it. My brother is just so protective and brave to say those blunt words in the face of my husband.

That was, clearly, a warning.

"Anong video ba 'yun?" I asked as I succumbed.

Zethary immediately crawled off the bed and went near us. Now, I'm in between the two glaring men, steel-hot.

My husband was always stiff, cold, void, scary and ruthlessly handsome while standing face to face with my brother.

Sa kabilang banda ay ramdam ko ang nag-uumapaw na galit at pang-aasar ng kapatid ko. Hindi na nga ako kumurap kakatitig sa kanila.

"Wait until I show her that damn thing, I planned of telling her about that too. Because you're right, I should never hide a thing or two even if it's nonsense," nagtatagis ang bagang na wika ni Zethary. "Naunahan mo lang ako."

"Now you're making it like, you badly want to prove a point."

"I do."

"Too bad, Freñier. Perhaps you pass now but not again. My baby don't deserve someone like you——"

"Kuya!" Namagitan na ako.

Agad silang nagbuntong-hininga at napatango-tango si kuya na halatang napipilitan. Habang si Zethary ay tinignan ako ng mariin at nagsusumamo.

"Fine, fine, now let's go downstairs, Athaia. The table's ready and making the food wait is not good," si kuya at inakbayan ako.

I pouted when my plan of coming down with Zethary didn't happen. When I looked back at him, he nodded with a small smile.

"Ano na naman ba ang problema at ganiyan ka? Kuya, pwede ko bang bigwasan 'tong si Athaia? Naririndi na ako!" Panggigigil niyang anas.

Agad akong umatras palapit kay Zeth kasi baka maisipan nga niyang bigwasan ako bigla.

Nanlaki ang mga mata ko sa kaniya. Walang hiya!

"Enough kuya," Ferrin and I dismissed him.

Uminom lang siya ng tubig at nagkibit-balikat.

Nakasimangot na ako ngayon at nawalan na ng gana kumain. Naramdaman ko ang haplos ni Thary sa kamay ko at pagpisil niya.

Nagkatinginan kaming dalawa. Una'y walang emosyon ang mukha niya pero unti-unti ay nakitaan ko siya ng pagsusumamo. Na naman.

He licked his lower lip swiftly as he handed me a glass of water. I took it without a word and played the water in my mouth.

"We'll talk after this. Stop over thinking now, hmm?" His voice was real gentle and sweet.

That I just nodded even there's something tugging my heart. Words are powerful but If I'll see what is the video all about later, I don't know how to react.

The maids changed the food with desserts and cocktails. While the butlers were just standing like statues around.

His stares was never this enigmatic yet nerve wrecking. Iyong para bang marami siyang gustong iparating sa pamamagitan lang ng tingin niya. I looked away. In an attempt to do so, my eyes drifted to my eldest brother whose eyes were like a hawk's.

"Hearing that from you, I felt relieved," Ferrin spoke in a cold yet friendly manner. "Her safety is our priority too. But we have Thaina, Thalia and Yvon to worry about too. Also, now that we're not on a good shape, we will really need help."

"The De'Medici won't neglect you. My cousin is my priority too, so it's fine. Also, I'm so sick of the Stavros. I want to get rid of them as soon as possible. They're getting in our way, they're too arrogant to recognise real authority," Hector seemed irritated.

"Should we go back to the Philippines too, dear bother?" Knave butt in. "I'll met with Lutherei and—oh, Athaia?"

My forehead immediately creased. Lutherei? Sino naman yun? Narinig kong nagbuntong-hininga si Thary habang si kuya Ferrin ay sinipat siya.

He smirked though. "Hindi mo siya kilala pero mabait siya at tiyak na magkakasundo kayo."

"Okay, and that's for?"

Hindi nawala ang pagkakunot ng nuo ko pero tinanguan ko na siya. Mas lalo siyang ngumisi at nagsalin ng cocktail sa kaniyang baso.

"Tingin ko nga uuwi rin tayo. Kailangan nating balikan ang naiwan nating properties at assets doon. Thanks to Lutherei, out assets are still intact," Ferrin added.

"Kung ganun, saan kayo titira doon pag-uwi niyo? May bahay na ba kayo roon o magpapatayo pa, Zeth?" Thalia to Zethary.

The latter glanced at me with a small smile. "Everything's set. All we need is a fixed date to go home."

I couldn't help but smile too. I'm excited to go home. It's been what? Five months ba? Is my counting correct? I missed the Philippines already.

"I'm so excited!" Hindi ko na napigilang anas sa mababang boses.

"Are you?" Zeth leaned closer and fixed the hair that escaped at the back of my ear.

"Oo. Pero kelan?"

"The day after tomorrow. After we finished the trashes in hand."

"So, saan kayo exactly titira? Makati, Taguig, Pasay? Saan sa Philippines?" Si insan.

"We'll be on vacation. In one of our private Island near El nido. That's heavily guarded and real private," sagot niya ng hindi inaalis ang tingin sa'kin. Kahit umiinom siya ng wine at kinakausap ng iba.

"Vacation?" Knave's voice was doubtful.

Napaikot ako ng mata at uminom na lang.

Sa gulat ay naibuga ko kay insan ang iniinom kung juice kaya agad siyang napamura sabay hampas ng braso ko.

Everyone fell silent, except of course to me, Thaina and Zethary who immediately handed a table napkin to my cousin and asked me if I was hurt.

"K-Kuya…" pero simula pa lang nanginginig na ang labi ko.

"On papers." Knave scowled. Snorting so bad.

"Stop sulking, will yah?" Si insan. "Ayaw mo nun? Magkakapamangkin ka na?" Akala ko pa naman aawat siya.

"You know what? Let's just let them be. Zethary will love to have his children beared by Athaia. At last! I thought the bloodline of Freñier will end with you," Thalia beamed gleefully, looking at the man beside me.

We heard heavy and exaggerated sighs from Knave, who's still, so against the idea. Unti-unti akong natawa sa kaniya.

Nang matapos ang tanghalian ay agad kaming nagkahiwalay. Si Thalia at Ferrin ay nasa living room at nanunuod ng TV.

Thaina was then busy with Maxer and of course, I couldn't just let go of the idea spinning in my mind since we left our room.

"Again, for the nth time, what are you going to see is…you don't really have to watch it, moglie. It just happened years ago, when we were…."

"Oh shut up," putol ko sa kaniya.

Kanina pa niya inuulit-ulit 'yan at sagad sa buto na ang pagkarindi ko. Inagaw ko ang mouse sa kaniya at pumusisyon sa harap ng malaki niyang laptop.

He sat beside me with a knotted forehead and a patience so tight. I glared at him every now and then, and he's like he's gonna snatch the laptop from me any moment now.
