"These caves go quite deep, don't you think, Link?"
I only nodded in response.

Zelda kept tucking her hair behind her ear, after it falling out every three seconds. I couldn't tell if she liked her haircut or not, but by how much she's touching it, I think yes.

We kept going down. Each step, I felt a heaviness grow on my shoulders, the master sword, rightfully in her sheath on my back. I felt safe with her.

The mist grew, and our breathing minimised. The mist made out lungs go tight.

"Here, take this" Zelda said, out of the blue.

She turned to me, giving me a cloth to hold over my mouth. I did so. It helped with the breathing.

We kept descending, the only light was the soft glow of the torch, and a bit from the pink mist.

Every now and then, Zelda would give me the torch to take photos with the Purah Pad.

We kept on moving.

As we reached an open chamber, sea became ecstatic. Jumping around, reading aloud her thoughts on the cave painting. I tried to keep focus, but something was wrong.

I had a pit of worry in my stomach and the hairs going up and down on my back like waves. Zelda took a few shots, but we kept moving.

And then, there it was.

I arrived at it first, then Zelda.

I admired it. The swirl of green to blue. To what looked like a hand, holding down a Mummy.

We edged closer. Or, I edged closer. I felt a pull towards the hand. It's like it was whispering in my ear, calling out to me.

I heard Zelda scream. The hand had now fallen, and the mummy was awakening. It seems I was lost in thoughts.

I jumped backwards, pulling out my master sword to protect Zelda.

The Mummy was quick. It sent malice my way. It wrapped itself around the blade, getting to my arm. I couldn't remove my hand from the blade. The malice burnt my skin. The blade was being singed aswell.

I tried to swing, only one time succeeding. That was as the blade broke. It sent pieces flying towards everywhere.

One managed to cut the Mummy.

It mumbled words I couldn't hear over the bubbling pain of my arm. I tried to hold it. It was hurting too much. I slouched down with it.

Then, the mummy made some hand movements. Kind of like Monk Maz Koshia.

He raised his hands upwards, from his chest, a ray of Malice erupted. It went skyward.

Pieces of rock started falling.

Zelda yelled and screamed behind me. I turned, only to see her yellow hair fall down.

I instantly jumped. I reached my hand out for her to grab. I curled my fingers trying to grab her. But I missed.

Instead, I saw her fall down. She, not to my knowing, seemed to have a glowing crystal in one hand. She turned yellow and dissapeared.

I felt my non injured arm get tugged.

I looked up. It was the green hand from earlier.

All I could remember was it pulling me up. Before I passed out....
