There was a knock on my door

It was fate

Which let you in-

A visitor

Who wasn't invited.

Then,

We tied a knot

But,

Things weren't easy for me,

Especially to accept the Reality,

To give you

Me.

So, I asked you

For some time

In order to reach my destination

I had always been traveling to

And you gave

Plenty of it,

Thank you.

Amidst all Chaos

You may think

I am not getting any closer.

Trust me

I am trying.

Taking one step at a time.

Baby steps

To acknowledge you,

To fall in love with you,

To create an eternal bond.
