Peril's POV

She and Clay stared at each other. Peril thought that she would immediately regret everything, but she didn't. In fact, she felt better, being able to talk.

Clay was silent for a long time. His claws stopped shaking, then shook again. Peril softly pulled away from their embrace, giving her love some space.

Finally, after what seemed like hours, Clay stuttered out;

"Th-that's truly wonderful." He lifted his head up to give Peril a watery smile. He then, bending his neck down again, began to sob.

Peril felt like her teeth were being pulled out. She hated it when Clay cried; whoever made him would get their tail burned off. 

But this time it was Peril's fault Clay was upset, and that felt like an extra stab in the heart. Wilting like a flower, Peril curled neatly into Clay's side, and snuggled her head under his chin lovingly.

"What's going to happen to us?" Clay sniffed.

"I don't know. But I do know your right - for now, no one can know." He shifted his large talons and stood up, turning away so Peril wouldn't see him wiping his eyes.

"You go rest. I'm going to, you know..." And with that, Clay walked out of the cave, his legs stiff.

Peril sat still, staring out of her cave. Anemone came by, waved, and continued skipping along ('Probably looking for Tamarin' Peril thought).

A harsh wind rattled Peril's wings. Peril shivered from horns to tail, and then rested her snout on her talons, falling into a dreamless slumber.

Moon's POV

Moon's head shot up and she fell backwards, thoroughly shook. 

"What!?" She shouted, shaking Turtle's shoulders.

"Exactly what I said; PERIL IS WITH EGG!" Turtle cried, pushing Moon off his chest.

"Um. Turtle. WHAT!" Qibli said, "Did I hear you correctly, or is your mouth confuzzled?"

"No, guys, hear me out... Exactly what I said; PERIL IS WITH EGG!!!"

"Quieten down, squawkers!  Someone might hear us!" Moon could hear the far-away thoughts of Anemone coming closer.

"Your right." Said Qibli quietly.

"I know this is crazy, but Clay and Peril have no idea we know. So, we're going to keep our cool, and try support them."

The three dragons nodded and went separate ways.
