"Okay, We're in Brago. Now what?" Luna said. They had been walking around every city in the country since they got on the train.

"Fooooooooood," Nash whined.

"We ate an hour ago. You're fine. Quit complaining." Luna nagged. They walked along the streets selling everything from jewelry to magic tools, But what caught Nash's eye was all the exotic food he hadn't tried before.

"Luna! Look at all the food!" Nash said drooling a small pool.

"You sound like a child. Come on." Luna said. They spent a few hours looking around the town, asking everyone they could find about their dad. "Um, excuse me sir, but have you heard of a mage named Natsu Dragneel?" Luna asked an old man she ran into

"Kid I don't think there's a wizard alive who hasn't heard of him." The man replied. "Famous Fairy Tail Dragon slayer. Nobody's seen him in seventeen years, so if you're asking about his whereabouts, I'm afraid I can't help you." He replied.

"Oh okay. Thank you anyway." Luna said.

A whole day of asking and nobody knew about their father. They either got the same answer or nothing.

"Uuuugh. We've been searching all day! Can we just get to the inn?" Nash complained

"Yeah. Okay. We'll keep looking for dad in the morning." Luna said.

"Whats this? These two kids are out without daddy? What do you say Joe? Is it worth it?" A thug said approaching them.

"AHAHA! Yeah! Because there kids! And we're grown ups! Right Dale?" The other thug said.

Nash cracked his knuckles and growled at them. "Great. So one's a fat idiot, and the other one's a twig. Shouldn't take too long."

"Look us in the face. Do you know who we are?" Luna asked. The two guys shook their head. "Does Dragneel twins ring a bell? Nash, Don't have too much fun. The sun's almost down. I want my fair share of butt-kicking."

"Oh please. Since when was 'holding back' in my dictionary?"

"AHAHAHAH! DALE! They think they can beat us! But we're a lot stronger than them. Right, Dale?!"

"Come on kids. I'll even give you the first shot!" Dale said. Nash wasted no time in slugging him right in the face, sending him skidding back at least 10 feet. "That's it, kid! You're so dead! Joe, Take the girl. This kid's mine."

"Come at me!" Luna yelled. Joe came running toward Luna and she knocked him out with one punch. "Awe man. I was hoping to work up a sweat." Luna said. "NASH! NEED ANY HELP?"

"Wait? Nash? You two, You really are the Dragneel twins! Nash and Luna Dragneel!" Dale said.

"In the flesh. Who do you work for? What guild are you with?" Nash said holding his new punching bag in his hand.

"Wouldn't you like to know? It's a shame. Your daddy is so worried about you? It's pathetic." Joe said.

"You don't know our dad. We don't even know him. Now shut up before I get mad. Believe me. That is not something you want to see " Nash said, Igniting his right hand. Dale just smirked as Nash punched him again. This time, Nash grabbed him and Joe and tied them up together with a rope Luna made with moonlight.

"Pink hair, onyx eyes, a scar on his neck. We've seen him. You two brats are all he talks about. It's pathetic. I've seen him, and he-"

"YOU SHUT UP!!!" Luna yelled creating a moonlight bow and shot next to the two thugs. "Consider that a warning. I didn't have to miss. Listen to me, You are saying things you do not want to say to us. Now If you say one more word, you so much as breathe loud enough for me to hear, I will shoot again, and this time, I wont miss." Luna said. "Nash, Get the police. I'll hold these idiots off." Luna said. She kept them from saying anything by holding an arrow barely away from their faces until Nash came back with the police.

"You two did the right thing tonight kids. I commend you for your efforts." The cop said. He lifted the two thugs onto their feet. "How do you two feel about orange?" He said dragging them away.

"Okay. That's over. Let's get to the inn. Try to get some sleep." Nash said. He led Luna to the inn and walked to their room. "Get some sleep. I'll wake you up in the morning."

"Nash, They knew where he was. We let them away." Luna said as she gripped the bed sheet. "I don't want this to be a failure, Nash. I really want to find him. Not just for us, but for the guild. For mom. Ever since we were kids, people at the guild have been singing his praises, and all we could do was believe it."

"Luna, I know, but it's late and you need your sleep. Believe me, I'm just as upset as you, but we can't keep thinking about it. We'll keep looking in the morning. Now get some rest." Nash said turning in his bed. Luna lay her head on her pillow, closing her eyes and trying to go to sleep.

"Luna, Sweetie, Give it to me and your friends will live," Kaori said extending her long, bony hand. Luna gripped the necklace that rested around her neck. Nova stood next to her and grabbed her hand. "Come on Luna. Be a good girl."

"Luna, no. That's from," Nova turned around to see Wendy, crying as she desperately tried to heal Storm as he clung onto life. "Him."

"Luna, if you don't give it to me now, They will die. Your brother, your parents, your boyfriend, and your dear friend Nova. It's a simple choice." Luna looked at Storm as he slowly died, and back at Nova, who gripped her hand even tighter.

"Never." Luna hissed. She and Luna ran toward Kaori hand in hand.

"So that's how you want to play it?" Kaori put her hand up and Nova's head did a total 180, but her body was still facing Kaori. Luna didn't even notice when Kaori snatched the necklace from around her neck.

"NOVA!!!!!!!!"

"AAAAHHHH!" Luna screamed from her bed. Her face has a combination if sweat and tears all over it. She looked over and saw Nash's bed was empty. "Calm yourself. It was just a dream." Luna touched the moon pendant on the silver chain around her neck. "A dream." Luna put on her boots and pulled her jacket on and locked the inn door. She walked down the hall and saw Nash talking to a little girl no older than six. She had bright red hair and eyes as green as grass in the spring.

"Then the awesome Luna was defeated by the evil Kaori, but her prince came in and carried her to safety," Nash said.

"But Nash, the bad guys aren't supposed to win!" The little girl whined.

"Believe me. We haven't lost. We're still going to win, and when we do, I'll finish the story." Nash said.

"So this is what you do when I'm not around?" Luna asked.

"Oh, Good morning Luna! This is Iris! She came up to me and demanded I tell her a story." Iris ran out of Nash's arms and climbed up Luna's leg.

"Luna! Wow! you're even prettier than Nash said you are!" Iris said.

"Not as pretty as you! You little monkey! One day, You're going to grow up and all the boys will be all over you!" Luna said. Iris started fake gagging.

"Yucky! Boys are yucky! Except for magic princes'! Do you have a prince Luna? Nash said you did! Do you live in a castle? Someone as pretty as you must be a princess!"

"I do have a prince! His name is Storm, and he is always there to protect me and we live in a castle called Fairy Tail! It's a place where everybody is happy! I know one day a prince will come riding on a magic white horse and you and he will ride into the sunset!" Luna said booping Iris's nose.

"Not after bedtime, he won't." A man said behind Luna. "I'm Iris's father. Thank you for looking after her."

"Daddy! Daddy! Nash and Luna are really nice to me!" Iris said hopping out of Luna's arms and into her fathers' arms. "Nash's daddy is a dragon and Luna is a princess! She's even married to a  magic prince like in the stories you and mommy read me! They live in a castle called Fairy Tail and it's a magical place of happiness!" Iris said with a smile plastered on her face.

"Is that so? You two are members of the Fairy Tail guild?" The man asked. Luna and Nash showed the man Nash's yellow mark on his shoulder and Luna's purple mark on her stomach.

"15 years and going, sir," Nash said. "We have to go now. It was nice meeting you sir. Goodbye Iris!" Nash and Luna went out the door and back onto the city streets. "Okay, what's wrong?"

"What? Nothings wrong" Luna replied.

"You can do better than that. I can read you like a book. What's up." Nash asked. Luna looked at Nash.

"I had the dream again. This time, it was Nova. I didn't even know a human head could turn that fast." Luna said. "It's okay. I know it was just a dream. I'm okay. Let's just keep looking."

"Okay, but if you need to talk, don't hesitate to ask," Nash said. Luna and Nash kept walking along the city, asking around gathering any information they could about their father, but they came out dry. They were walking around for hours until they made their way to an empty field filled with grassy hills that must have gone on for miles.

"Okay, lesson learned. Never trust Nash with a map." Luna sighed pulling out a water bottle from her bag.

"Wait, we had a map?" Nash asked and Luna fell on her back.

"You're hopeless Nash."

"I figured that out a long time ago. That's nothing new." Nash said scratching his neck. "Hey, do you smell that?" Nash asked

"Smells like, smoke" Luna said getting up. "Someone might be in trouble!" Luna and Nash followed the smell until it led them to a man in a cloak training. "Well, false alarm."

"Luna, you don't think?"

"No Nash, I don't think. Fire is an extremely common magic. You practice it for Mavis sake! This could be anyone." Luna said. "I don't like getting my hopes up for this kind of mission."

"Luna, I told you before, I don't ignore my gut feeling. I can't say for certain whether or not this is him, but the information I got was for a man with sakura pink hair and strangely powerful fire magic, and well, look at him." The man was training and they immediately felt intimidated. His punches were so clean you could almost hear the air crying for help, his kicks could change the direction of the wind, and his fire was so hot, the twins were feeling hot even though they were several yards away. "What do we gain if we don't try?" Nash said.

"Fine," Luna said. "Which one of us is going to talk to him?" Nash and Luna got in a small fight which Luna lost, so she stepped forward to talk to the man. "Um, excuse me, sir?" Luna said. "Super nervous?" She said in barely a whisper.

"What are you nervous about? I ain't gonna hurt you!" The man said.

"Oh, I didn't realize you heard me. Anyway, I was wondering," Luna took a deep breath before continuing. "Do you know anybody named Natsu Dragneel?"

"Why kid, you're looking at him! What can I do for ya?" The man said. Luna stared at him for a minute, then broke down in tears. "H-Hey! Why are you crying? Was it something I said?"

"Luna!" Nash yelled sliding next to her. "What did you do to her?"

"Tell me, look me in the eyes and tell me you're really him and that I'm not wasting my time again!" Luna yelled with tears pooling in her eyes.

"Luna, what are you talking about?" Nash said, completely oblivious to what was happening.

"My name is Natsu Dragneel. Now can you stop crying? I hate it when people cry." Natsu said. Natsu crouched down on his knee's then smiled at Luna. Luna took this chance and wrapped her arms around him. "H-Hey, are you alright?"

"Do you know who we are?" Luna asked.

"No, but given your tears and hug, I have a feeling you know I am." Nash was behind Luna, smiling while trying not to scream like a teenage girl who just found out her favorite celebrity was coming to town.

"My name is Luna and this is my twin brother Nash Dragneel. You were married to our mother. Lucy Dragneel." Luna sobbed. "We-We've spent most of our lives looking for you, every search, Every single one, They've all been dead ends. We, I was so worried this would be another dead end." Without hesitation, Natsu wrapped his arms around Luna and Nash. "I was so worried this was another fake rumor."

Natsu broke the hug and looked at his two children. Luna was sobbing and even Nash was shedding a few tears. "You two found me all by yourself?" Natsu asked.

"It took sixteen years but yeah, we did. It's weird, I don't know what to do now that I found you, but right now I don't care." Nash said wiping a tear away from his cheek.

"I'm glad you two, WAIT! Lucy! Is she-"

"Mom's doing fine. Her water magic is better than ever and she takes on more jobs than ever." Luna said. "Nash, I'm tired."

"You two are close?" Natsu asked.

"Luna's my best friend. We never do anything without each other next to us." Nash said.

"That is until I kick him out for being annoying or just flat out stupid." Luna laughed.

"She's not wrong." Nash chuckled.

"Sounds like me and Lucy before we started dating. Come on. Why don't we go home? I'd say we all need it."
