Angelica Rivas was born on December 14th, 1992 in Brooklyn, New York, to parents Adeline Hill and Josh Rivas, as Angelica Rivas, the only girl in their family. She is of German, Italian and Mexican decent and is known for primarily speaking both Spanish and English with a bit of a Brooklyn accent.

4 years after her birth, her mother gave birth to a baby boy, whom they named Jonas Rivas. Their family had a perfect start and they couldn't ask for more.

Over the years their father had become distant and their mother had started to leave at nights. Both children had started to take care of themselves with worry and confusion between themselves.

At the age of 14, Angelica had snuck out one night and followed her father, whom had walked to an abandoned warehouse in downtown New York. She had been confused as to why her father was working with the assassins, since at a young age, she had been warned to stay away from them.

Angelica, being more curious, had wandered into the back, where she spotted her mother coming out of the leader's office, with her shirt open and hair disheveled. At this age, she already knew what her mother had done. The only question she had was why?

That night, she had returned home, where she had left her brother asleep and immediately vowed to take care of him, until she had died. She would do everything in her power to keep him safe.

F A L L O U T

At the age of 16, Angelica had suffered the biggest tragedy of her life. After coming home from school, she found her parents shot and killed in her living room. Her mother had gunshots to the chest and abdomen and her father had been brutally stabbed. The police had arrived mere minutes after she did and took the bodies, checking the children for any injuries and leaving.

Angelica had packed her bags, and helped Jonas with his, where, that night, they left for Starling City. With their mother's debit card and loose money they had found in the back of their parents' closet, they made their way over to hide from any danger and take care of themselves.

By the time they got there, Angelica had already turned 17, and she had been wandering the back of clubs looking for extra food when she encountered a young man.

H O S P I T A L I T Y

Roy Harper encountered Angelica and her brother in the back of a club, where he had seen her looking for food and her brother standing close by.

After offering her a meal and a place to stay, she was enlightened, and accepted the offer, but in return, he had to help her stay safe and away from the assassins.

He agreed, and took her to his friends, Oliver Queen and Felicity Smoak. Felicity had immediately formed a sister-like connection with Angelica and agreed to take them under her wing, showing them around and letting them live with her until Angelica was old enough to live alone.

C H A N G E

Four years after they moved to Starling City, Jonas was in high school and Angelica had taken a part time job working with Felicity at Oliver's company as a receptionist. From here, she had begun to train and had kept an eye out for the mysterious vigilante in Starling, as she got help from Felicity with how she could encounter him.

After months of training, she had sewn her own costume, and create a name for herself. Calling herself Crescendo, she went out into the streets and acted as a vigilante, helping the city and trying to cross paths with the famous vigilante. As days flew by, she realized that she really loved helping out and keeping the place where she grew up in safe.

One night, after returning from her job, Angelica headed over to a bar closest and saw Roy, along with Oliver's sister and Felicity. All of them were there and she had decided to talk to them about the vigilante.

They had agreed that they would help her find him, in return that she wouldn't tell Oliver.

Swearing not to tell, she had started to look for the vigilante. In the meantime, as she waited, she would constantly be on rooftops, looking over Starling City and making sure everything was safe. From one particular perch, she could see Felicity's home, where Jonas' room light was always on.

She would see it flicker at night and then turn off after 10.

I D E N T I T Y

Angelica had overheard Felicity talking to Oliver about her recent obsession with the vigilante. Her back was to then as she heard them, and realized that Oliver was the vigilante. Something in her mind had clicked and she had found herself following Oliver after work, towards the bar and wading downstairs, where a secret getaway was placed.

She had found Felicity and Diggle there, along with Oliver and his suit. Everything had clicked and she had realized why Oliver was always so busy and why Felicity had to take work "home" sometimes.

They had agreed to train and help her become stronger, in return that she never tell Thea who Oliver really was.

Keeping her secret, Angelica was trained and made stronger, as Oliver monitored her progress and Felicity worked on a new suit.

After weeks of training and change of meals, she was ready and Oliver had agreed to let her join the team.

D E A T H

Angelica had been in battle one day, at the age of 22, where she had become seriously injured after fighting The Huntress. Various bullets had tore through her body and an arrow had been stuck to her back as she had been killed.

Oliver brought her back to the hideout and placed her on the metal bed, where he had taken out the arrow and had called a friend.

The team decided to take her to the Lazarus Pit, where she would be resurrected from the dead, as if nothing had ever happened.

Angelica was brought back to life a couple hours after her death, and was more than alive.

She had developed some fighting techniques and enhanced senses. Not only that, but Angelica had developed a blood lust as well.

Something in her life had changed, and Angelica had realized how.
