Diamond P.O.V.

I was sitting at a table waiting to see the students of Beacon walk by as they head to do their missions. I also wanted to catch a glimpse of team RWBY since I heard that they were one of the top teams in Beacon Academy. I decide to walk around while I'm waiting so I throw on my headphones and head to the shipping yard to look out at the ocean. I close my eyes and let the breeze blow my cape and play with my hair, I enjoyed this until I felt a hand that jerked me around. I opened my eyes and saw a man pointing a sword at my chest. I turn off my music and take off my headphones "Yes?" I ask trying to be kind even though I was seething with anger. He just stared at me like I was a ghost.

"Give me all your valuables and you won't get hurt little girl."

"You talking to me?" I say a little more ticked off.

"Yeah and if you want to keep talking freely then hand them over." Students from Beckon Academy came rushing over and they had their weapons on hand, but I only raised my hand to summon one of the students. I tell him to hold my spare things and I activate the pack of metal on my back. It starts to unfold and turn into huge metal wings and I start the fight. I raise the metal wings and bring them down to create a gust of wind that blinded the man as I flew into the air, As I fly into air I release metal Feather Shaped Shuriken's. He kept shooting at me but I dodged the shots and I landed on the ground and everything was going well until he called back up. 40 men surrounded me with dust.

'Shoot I'm in trouble I think to myself. I feel something bang against my head and feel things going black. But before I black out I see the students from Beacon surround me fighting them off. When I finally woke up I was in an interrogation room.

"Good to see you're finally awake. Now before we get started, how is your head?" he asks. I stare at him; I realize he is the head master of Beckon Academy. He had a plate of doughy cookies and a glass of warm milk in his hands. My mouth began to water. I look at the cookies as if I was the hunter and they were the pray.

"Yeah I'm fine. Just a bump." I say nervously still staring at the cookies

"So I would like to know why such an innocent girl was at the shipping yard." He said nudging the cookies over to me.

"I was actually just looking out over the ocean." I answer back grabbing them.

"Oh, I see. Where did you learn to use your weapon?"

"I learned it from Signal Academy" I say putting one in my mouth.

"You learned to wield such a deadly weapon at Signal Academy?"

"Yes, one of the teachers taught me."

"Well... would you like to join Beacon Academy?"

"Really? I would love to join Beacon"

"Very well then, Welcome to the school"

"Thank you... Headmaster Ozpin" He gets up and walks out of the room and I am taken back to my home to pack for Beacon Academy.

I was on the ship headed for Beacon Academy, the most popular school for training Huntsman and Huntresses. I walk alone to the sky view of the ship where I run into a girl who is reading a book. She is wearing a black cat ear hat which fell off showing a normal head with purple fading into blue than green streaks in her hair that reached her ankles, a black jacket with a black t-shirt, and a black belt, black pants and black boots with a necklace that says Titania and a removable white and black striped hand sleeve, she looked nice but you could tell she was deadly when provoked.

"I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean to bump into you" I say while rubbing the back of my neck 'great way to start. You really might get it this time.' I say to myself.

"No, your fine. I should have been watching where I was going instead of reading... But it's so good I couldn't put it down, you know.. Uh?"

The girl replies back picking up her hat and book. I smile at her and hold out my hand "Oh! I'm Diamond White" I say happily. The girl smiles back.

"Titania Black" She says taking my hand and shakes. We start to walk towards the school, we are stopped by the sound of people yelling and chanting.

We ran over to see what was going on and see a boy with sandy blond hair standing with another boy with green hair. "FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT!" was heard throughout the crowd that was gathered.

"CRAP! If they fight now they'll be kicked out of the school" I tell Titania.

"Two things: One, why would you care whether they get kicked out or not? And two who's side will you protect?"

I look at the two boys, the green haired boy was provoking the other boy. I look at Titania and point at the Blond. I run into the crowd pushing and shoving my way through in order to get to the front. Just as I get to the front I see the green haired boy swing his fist, before I can properly think I jump in front of the blond and take the hit for him. Titania see's this and dives into the fight. I don't even see her all I see is midnight hair with a blur of colors. "WHAT THE HELL MAN! Don't go around starting a fight! What the heck is wrong with you?!" she says throwing a punch. She then grabs his arm and twists it backwards. The poor boy begs for mercy, she let go of his arm and the boy stepped back then she yelled "Element of metal, heed me." With that a piece of metal forms out of thin air and she forms it into a scepter. "Elemental harmony! Nature's light!" with that a light shone so bright around her everyone covered their eyes. After the light died down she moves so quickly that no one registered what happened until she had pinned him against the wall. She punched and kicked him everywhere and even froze him in ice. I have to drag her away from the poor boy, but she got free and starts to attack him more. By the time I and 5 other students got her to stop the boy was all bloody and bruised with probably a few broken bones. "Never mess with my friends." She spits out at him and shakes us off and walks away. After the fight a boy with grey hair walks up to us "Are you okay?" he asks me while taking in my bruised cheek. I nod and shrug "I've had worse. Now where is the blond haired boy?" I ask looking around. "He already left. We have to hurry to the Main Hall" The boy said.

"Here, that looks bad." Titania said putting her hand on my check. I felt a warm safe sensation on my cheek and when it stopped she pulled her hand away.

"Hey, Wait! I'm Diamond" I say looking at the boy with Grey hair.

"Wes Raven" He replies back. He turns and walks ahead of us, He has black raven wings on his back. 'He's a faunus' I think to myself. I only caught a quick glimpse of his wings since they were covered by his grey hoodie.

Titania's P.O.V.

Loneliness, darkness, murder, those were the things that built my past. Everything I touch will surely die. "Hey you! Put your hands up!" a man yelled pointing a gun at me.

"Oh, are you trying to threaten me?" I asked in a bored expression.

"Yeah and if you want to leave alive I suggest you hand over your belongings!" he said with a grin.

"Tch, how annoying." I say and put my hand on a metal cabinet.

"What did you say!?"

"Leave me alone, you're annoying and if you don't want to die I suggest you leave."

"Why you-" he didn't get to finish his sentence. I ripped the metal off and used my powers transfigured it into a syth.

"You were saying." Next thing I knew, he fired a bullet. I just stood there and used air to stop it and fired the bullet at his arm making him drop the gun. "This is going to be easy." I charge at the man. Then a shocking thing happens. "You, dodged? But, how?"

"You're not the only one with magic sweetheart."

"But I am the one with the skills to murder." As I was lunging for him he threw two daggers at me each trapping my hands.

"Well, well, well looks like I have to help." After the fight I was taken to a room. It was dark with a light shining down on a table. They took me to the interrogation room.

"How did you do that?" she asked

"I was born with it."

"Care to explain." Another guy came into the room with a plate of red velvet cupcakes, doughy cookies, a slice of mint brownies and warm milk. My mouth began to water.

"I was taught how to use it at Signal Academy and a little from my parents but they passed a while ago." I say trying not to drool over the food.

"How? Please tell me." He said. I couldn't deny him he was the head master of Beckon. A school I was aiming for since I was 4.

"Sure I first discovered I had it when I was 8," I said grabbing a cupcake. "My family and I were going out for a walk in the woods, so they could tell me about my powers. Once they did, I thought it would be the best day of my life! I could work with my parents! But I was sadly mistaken."

(Flash back)

As we went to bed I smelled something burning. It was coming from the kitchen, I ran to see where the fire was coming from. Once I found out, I ran to find my parents. I woke them up and told them what was going on. When we made it down, our whole house was on fire. "I love you sweet heart on darling if I don't come back then and only then can you leave her understood?" she said to my father and me.

"MOM!" I screamed as my mom lunged into the fire to stop it.

"Come on dear, your mother will be fine." Dad said jumping out the window with me. A few minutes passed and the fire got worse. "I'll be right back I have to help your mother and after that we can go house hunting again, okay?" I nodded "I love you and so does your mother." That was the last thing he said and went back in the house, after 2 minutes the roof collapsed. "MOM! DAD!" I screamed and I saw what made me an emotionless robot. My parents under the rubble of the house with blood seeping out of their heads and arms. I tried to get them out when the ambulance and firefighters came they took me and my parents away. But before I got into the ambulance I saw the White Fang symbol.

(End of flash back)

I feel tears streaming down my face, I quickly wipe them away. "I see you lost both your parents at the same time, when will you graduate from your school here?"

"In a week."

"Good then get packing because you're going to beckon academy!"

"What?" I say flabbergasted with eyes wide open.

"You heard me so get packing!" he said with a smile.

(On the air ship)

"Never mess with my friends." I say with venom dripping in my voice. And with that Diamond and 5 other students dragged me away. "Here, that looks really bad." I say putting my hand one her bruised cheek. I start healing it, but as I healed it I couldn't help but think 'Did I really just say that?' then suddenly the flash back of my last friend played in my head. Her blood seeping out of her stomach. I shake my head trying to force them out. 'I need to stop before it happens again.' I say to myself. As she starts to talk with the other boy I took that as my chance to leave. I start walking of trying to loose myself in the crowd but then I heard a voice.

"Hey wait for me!" I hear someone saying. I turn around to see Diamond waving and running towards me. I saw her and the ghost shadow of her doing the same thing. "Hey that was really cool, why did you walk away- hey are you okay?" she said touching my shoulder. Another flash back happens of my past friend acting the same way. I take a step back and shout "Stay away from me!" I open my eyes and see the shock on her face "I-I-I'm sorry!" I say turning around and running off tears streaming from my eyes. I make it to the ship's balcony. 'Why her, why does she have to look and act like her... Lily, I miss you.' I say looking at the horizon.

Diamond's P.O.V.

Before she shook us off I saw fear and sadness in her eyes. When she left I followed her. When I shouted for her she did the same thing. 'What's wrong?' when I touched her shoulder she jerked away and yelled "Stay away from me!" tears were streaming down her face. "I-I-I'm sorry!" She broke off into a run towards the balcony. I was about to chase after her but then a hand stopped me. It was Wes. He shook his head and dragged me the other way.
