ep. 3.6
Hard as fuck, right on the first day of class, but it's worth it! Natsu tried convincing himself to cheer up and appreciate the huge opportunity he's been given. He was getting out of class when he noticed a girl with short white hair was struggling, trying to stand up when her sweater's still caught in between the chairs.
Natsu could see everyone was merely staring at her, trying to embarrass her by laughing, walking away. The next batch using this room was slowly filling up the room. With that, he rushed to her side and helped her up, untying the sweater she tied around her shoulders before he managed to remove it from the seat.
“Let’s run.” The woman said, pulling him along with her sweater. The moment they got out, she could finally breathe again, this time, putting the sweater on her arm instead. Book binder in her arms, and her cute little bag hanging on her shoulder. “Hey, thanks for saving me there. I swear, I didn't think it'd get stuck. Then again, I may be dumb.”
There was something about her he couldn't put a finger on. She was cute, had a cute laugh—and she's just really adorable.
“Forget about that. They won't remember this day.” He bit his lower lip, before going in, introducing himself. “I'm Natsu, by the way.”
“Lisanna.” She smiled again, fixing her hair. “Are we in the same course or. . .” With that, both of them hadn't even realized they were walking in the hallway together.
“I'm in the Architecture program. You?”
“Actually. . . same.”
This felt like a dream! Natsu made his first friend who's a girl he's already crushing on and he's classmates with. They could team up, group up, whatever whenever there's a class project they need to do. Maybe she has great ideas and gets good grades, he could totally ride along since he likes nerding out about Architecture. But his only problem would have to be procrastination.
“I hope we get along, Natsu.”
“I'm sure we will.” Natsu smiles back for the first time, looking away as they got to their next class.

Lucy and Levy had their alarms go off 30 minutes before their time. That's all it takes for them to take a bath, freshen up and get to class. On the other hand, Erza was scheduled in the afternoon, so naturally, she's dozing off to dreamland until 1PM.
Both of them never felt so glad to finally be out of their dorm room and get to talk about the things they like that Erza was straightforward about not liking. Besides astrology, she hated talking about boys, romance, herself—they eventually ran out of options to talk about.
In the end, Erza quietly sat in her corner, her bed while the other two texted in silent, unaware what their last roommate's problem was.
Unfortunate for the others who care about the weight of their tuition fee, they were disappointed to learn their professors weren't coming in since it's the first week; that most of them turn up on the week after. Fortunately for Lucy and Levy, they had their own fun.
“That man with the blonde hair? What do you think his sign is?” Lucy looked over when Levy mentioned it. Observing from afar, based on his little mannerisms and looking aloof, she had an idea from an old experience.
“Cancer. I’m calling it.”
“Doesn't he seem like a secret Leo, though?”
“We'll never know unless someone asks him.”
Of course they were both thinking the same thing: wait until they introduce themselves in class and birthmonth, at least.
Out of nowhere, Lucy remembered what she had encountered last night. The night with the library's student assistant.
“Hey, remember that guy we met last time?”
“You mean my boyfriend, Jet and the guy you blew off, Droy?” Lucy couldn't quite tell if her friend was trying to guilt trip her into thinking it's wrong she left him there without saying anything—which is, don't get her wrong. But somehow, for her, it's an exception seeing as they didn't exactly ‘click’. “Sorry, continue.” Levy giggled, calming the blonde down since she realized it was a joke.
“Well, anyway, it's Gray.” Lucy had to look around, checking if anyone was listening in. “Gray the library assistant guy.”
Levy nods, typing something down on her notepad. “What? What are you typing there?”
“Lucy's. . . type. . . includes raven. . haired. . boys who work in. . libraries. . ” she mouths along at every press on the keyboard, earning a light slap on the arm. “Okay, okay. What ahout him? What's going on?”
“We talked.” At the first mention of the verb, she'd already squealed, Levy blinking at this sight.
“And. . ?” she asks, scared of what might come next.
“I treated him soda and I'm like, boy you should ask me out already.” Lucy ended up bowing her head on the table, shaking her head.
“Did you really say that?”
“No, but I wish.”
“Okay, uh,” Levy didn't know what to do, how to react. Does she comfort her? Does she tell her it's going to fine? Give her hope? What! “There. . , there. . ?”

Gray was handed the job to organize books by category and in alphabetical order for the day before his class starts. Especially returning books people have left on the table, showing no concern for the staff whatsoever. He has four hours on duty. He's the guy rolling the trolley around the library, placing scattered books back where they belong.
He could use a bit of his time reading advanced lessons while he's not doing anything. Rules said Student Assistants are not allowed to do homework while working, but thanks to working under Ms. Mirajane Strauss, he can!
“Excuse me.” His thoughts were interrupted by a scarlet head with the coldest voice he's heard from a woman. “Do you know where I could find Scientific Studies of Astrology?”
At first, Gray frowned at the image of hearing that title. It was his first. “Erm, I don't think we have that in—” before he could even finish his explanation, the woman responded with a trumphant (obnoxious) yell.
“HA! I knew that. Because zodiac signs aren't true or scientific at all. There's no other way to explain it than the influence of environment affecting your personality.” With a stomp of her feet, she turned the other way, leaving the library with a polite bow at Juvia by the booth, who merely blinked at what just happened. The two student assistants shared a look, shrugging, laughing to themselves but Gray could think of nothing but the hours he has left before going to school, computing the hours before he gets to go home and slack off in bed.
