A few cars drive by a city, going past the sights seen in the area, the drivers focusing less on the road and more on each other. One of the drivers, a yellow flying squirrel wearing goggles,, was overtaking his opponent, a black and red armadillo with white gloves and red shoes, by crashing into them as he had crossed the finish line. "Ha ha, not bad eh Mighty?" He asked. "Easy for you to say Ray, you crashed into me," the other driver remarked. "But you gotta admit I won," Ray replied. "If you say so, what did you think Lydia?" Mighty asked. The girl mentioned was not anywhere around the two. "Of course," The two said as they looked at a mechanic shop. The two went into the shop to see a cream colored goat with small tan horns, blue eyes, wearing white gloves, a hot pink top with a fuschia skirt and black boots. "Hey Lydia you missed the race," Ray said, pushing Mighty to the side. "What he's saying is that you missed a race that ge won," Mighty explained, punching the flying squirrel back outside. "Oh, sorry guys, you know, duty calls," Lydia told her friends, finishing her work and closing up the shop. "Well now that the shop is closed, we can drive around Mania City all night!!!!!!!" The flying squirrel cheered, glad his friend had some free time. "Let's not get carried away Ray, Lydia has been working all day, she deserves a break," his friend replied, patting Lydia on the back for her effort. "Well, I was gonna tell you guys something when you got here, I received this," The goat girl showed them an envelope woth a wheel on it. "Cool!!!!! What is it?" Ray grabbed the envelope out of Lydia's hand to take a look at it. "We're gonna have to open it and find out," Mighty replied. The three opened the envelope to reveal invitation which read. "Dear racers of Mobius, you have been invited to participate in a tournament taking place in Metropolis Zone, three racers will compete in teams to win races, the better your team is, the better they will perform, and whoever wins the tournament will be given an Emerald Trophy, and the seven blocks of the tournament, an Emerald Trophy will be awarded to the winning team for each one, I wish your team luck."
"An Emerald Trophy just for racing!!!!!! Cool!!!!!!" Ray said. "This could be something bad, If I remember anything from before, 7 Emeralds starts to ring a bell for me, but I'm not sure why," Mighty replied, skeptical about the whoke thing. "We should go then, I'll close the shop up for a while and we can head to Metropolis Zone and compete as Team Mania," Lydia told them. "Goid thinking," the two were about to get into their carsw as they begun to realize that they were damaged from their last race. "Oh yeah, I should take care of your cars since we'll be needing them of course," She said. After the cars were fixed, three drove out of Mania City and onto the open road, looking at the bright shining stars.
