"Suit up Silver we're heading out in ten minutes," My father said handing me my mask and suit.

"Whatever," I said rolling my eyes.

"Oh come on sweet heart you love going on jobs," He said.

"Ok I'll be there in a little," I said pushing him out of my room. That was the day I left my father, it's been a year since then I have to be careful of were I go I don't want him to find me. Right now I'm on a ship on my way to Beacon with the rest of the first year students.

"The robbery was lead by the nefarious criminal Roman Torchwick, if you have any information on his whereabouts please contact authorities." I take my attention off the news report as I spot a boy who looks a little sick, I also notice a girl with black and red hair that looks about my age next to a girl that has blonde hair that looks a few years older. Odd bunch we have here. "Also the crimes committed by the Red Feline still have been unsolved but do to a new source it is believed she may have been working with Roman Torchwick." Red feline.. pssh, she's not coming back anytime soon.

"Hello and welcome to Beacon, my name is Glenda Goodwitch you are among the privileged few to attend Beacon Academy," After that I zoned out not really paying attention. Soon we were able to see Beacon. I finally got off of that ship and stood in awe the building was huge and and very beautiful I noticed a white haired girl yelling at the red head. Then I realize the white haired girl is Weiss Schnee, her family is a big supplier to the dust industry. 'Well one thing payed off from being with my father,' I thought to myself and giggled a little, then a small explosion brought me out of my thoughts.

"Woah!" That boy that was sick on the ship said standing next to me,"Hey my names Jaune Arc," He said extending his hand towards me.

"Hi my names Silver," I said shaking his hand.

"Well nice to meet you Silver," He said with a warm smile.

"Ugh," We both turned our heads to see the red head laying on the ground, Jaune started to walk over to her and I followed him.

"Hey," He said extending his hand to her,"I'm Jaune,"

"Ruby," She said as he helped her up.

"I'm Silver," I waved to her.

"Aren't you the guy who threw up on the ship?" She said, I started laughing my butt off. I laughed so much I didn't notice them waking away.

"Guys wait up!" I said running after them.

~~~Time skip~~~

"Motion sickness is a more common problem than you think," He said.

"Yeah yeah, man if I motion sickness growing up it would have been a living hell," I said laughing.

"Really did you travel a lot?" Ruby asked.

"Um... Yeah, you could say that," I answered, then I started to zone out until Ruby pulled out a giant scythe looking weapon.

"Woah!" Both Jaune and I said in surprise.

"Is that a scythe?" Jaune asked.

"It's also a high packed sniper rifle," She added.

"Cool! All I got is this baby," I say showing them my giant orange and silver sword. (Like Qrow's)"It also turns into twin long Samurai swords and dual pistols," I said.

"I have these," He said pulling out a sword and shield.

"Cool!" I said.'I'm such a nerd,' I thought to my self.

3rd person POV

Silver had her pj's on and was just looking at a journal that one of her mothers most trusted friends gave to her it was full of notes and entry's. She had read that journal so many time she could recite it by memory. She noticed that Ruby and that yellow haired girl were talking to a black haired girl, then Weiss walked over to them and they started arguing.

~~~ Time skip next day~~~
Silver's POV

'Everyone keeps talking about teams, I wonder how they'll pick the teams.' Thought to myself, then I saw Ruby and that yellow haired girl that I still need to find out's name.

"Hey Ruby," I said walking up to her.

"Hey Silver, Yang this is Silver, Silver this is Yang my sister," She explained.

"Hey," Yang said with a bright smile.

"Hey, so are you excited we get to fight today!" I said excited.

"Yeah, no more small talk now I can let my baby do the talking," She said petting Crescent Rose.

"Well see you guys later, nice meeting you Yang," I said running off to go get ready.

~~~ So many time skips~~~

"For years you have trained to become warriors and today your abilities will be evaluated in the Emerald forest," Ozpin explained.

"Now I'm sure many of you have heard the rumors about the assignment of teams, well let me put an end to your confusion, each of you will be given teammates... Today," Glenda explained, 'What? Today,' I thought to myself.

"These teammates will be with you for the rest of your time here at Beacon, so it is in your best interest to be pared with who'm you work well with, with that said the first person you make eye contact with will be your partner for the next four years, but one of you will not have a partner," Ozpin explained,'What the first person we make eye contact with hope I get Somone good!' I thought to myself,"After you've partnered up or there are no more partners left make your way to the northern part of the forest you will meet opposition on the way do not hesitate to destroy everything in your path or you will die, you will be monitored and graded for the duration of your initiation but our instructors will not intervene, you will find an abandoned temple at the end of the path containing several relics, each pair must choose one and return to the top of the cliff, we will regard that item as well as you're standing and grade you appropriately, any questions?" Ozpin asked.

"Yeah, um sir," Jaune said raising his hand.

"Good, now take your positions," He said ignoring Jaune, I bent my knees a bit and positioned my feet.

"Uh sir I've got um a question," He said then Weiss was shot off the cliff,"So this landing strategy thing, Uh what is it your like dropping us off or something?" He asked and then I was shot off the cliff, it was awesome! I finally land I looked around but didn't see anyone.
