Penny: My mom (RIP) used to play this song at max volume in the car on long trips. I miss her a lot. What better thing to do than to have Wally sing it to Dixie in her time of need.

Wally P.O.V.

It had been a year since Dixie got her powers and she came back to the apartment that Roy and I shared. There were tears rolling down her face as she sobbed uncontrollably. She had gotten a boyfriend a few months ago and I knew that he had been cheating on her but she was so blinded by love that she didn't see it.

I picked her up and put her on my lap. "Dix, it'll be okay. Just breathe. Copy me okay... in... out." I said while rubbing her back.

"I should've just picked between you and Roy a long time ago. I really did love both of you for some reason. Let's go somewhere. I want to forget about Blake." She said grabbing my hand and dragging me out the door. 

We arrived at a place that Dixie had gone to with the Titans a bunch of times.

"You should sing Wally. That would totally make me feel better." She said smiling. 

"Alright, Dix but just for you." I said patting her head and walking up to the booth.

There was applause but I just looked at her. Even after the year that we had had and her becoming powerful and kidnapped more often than not, I still wasn't over her.

I walked over and pulled her in her lips met mine and that was all that I needed.

"Sorry, I know that you weren't ready for..." She cut me off with a finger to my lips when she leaned in and wrapped her arms around my neck.
