Chapter 10: Help A Girl Out

Zambie: welcome back for a chapter of drama with our favorite red-head and black-haired beauty.

Wally P.O.V.

I walked over to Dixie's house and looked outside to see Jason on the stairs holding a baby. "Hey, Jay!" I yelled over to him and he looked over and rolled his eyes.

"What do you want?" Jason asked bouncing the baby on his hip. John was around three months old now.

"Where's Dixie Jason?" I asked looking at John with his emerald green eyes and a light dusting of freckles.

"You want to hold him while I get Dix?" Jason asked handing the baby to me. I looked at his black hair and pale skin. I heard the steps of a light body.

"What are you doing here Wally?" Dixie said taking John from my hands.

"Who is John's father? Don't give me any of the 'I don't know' bull either, Bruce did a test as soon as he found out you had a kid," I asked crossing my arms and looking at her she ran a hand through her shoulder-length black hair.

"Why do you want to know?"

"I want to know so I can kick his ass, Dixie! You never wanted this!"

"You can't kick your own ass, Wally!" Dixie yelled at me. "I wish you could but you can't," Dixie said giving up and walking back inside with John, my son. The door closed leaving me outside and Jason closed the curtain.

"I will never give up on you two Dixie, I promise," I said going to Roy's name on my phone.

I sat on the couch tears running down my face and my baby pressed into my chest. Jason walked in with a cup of hot chocolate.

"It's too late for caffeine so I figured that you would want something warm to sip on," Jason said sitting next to me and rubbing my head as I cried harder waking John up.

"You will be okay," Eve said in my mind.

"John needs his father, and so do I," I said sobbing.

"Then go get him," Eve said in my mind and Jason said out loud.

I jumped up and ran out of the house and transformed into Nightshade letting Eve help me find my way.

I stood outside of his house in black jeans and a blue blouse barefoot. I walked up to his door and knocked. He opened the door and Roy stood next to him.

"Walls, I need to talk to you and I need you to hear me out," I said rubbing my arms to stop the cool air from affecting them too much.

"Come it, Dix," Wally said ushering me inside.

"Listen I'm sorry that I didn't tell you about John being your kid I was just in a hard place and didn't want to have to deal with another person beating me up about something. I made up the whole alleyway story and just wanted to cover my tracks. How did you find out?" I asked looking up at him.

"I didn't, I heard about the guy in the alley and wanted to kick his ass. I'm actually kind of thrilled that John is mine," Wally said pulling me into a hug. "I get it if you don't want me to be the father figure in his life but at least give me a..." I pulled him down by his shirt and kissed him. He pulled away after a few seconds and looked at me in shock.

"I will always want you in our son's life Wallace West," I said kissing him again. He tightened his arms around my waist and kissed back like his life depended on it.
