Team Free Will vs. The Archangel's Prophet

Dean and Sam were led by Adam out of the TARDIS and back in to the abandoned building. John tapped Sam on the shoulder.

"Hate to be a bother," he stated, "but you seem far more familiar with these people. What's going on?"

Sam looked down at John and gave him a warm smile, as if to make up for the entire thing they were dragged into.

"You wouldn't believe me if I told you,"

"Try me," John smirked.

Sam looked ahead at his younger brother, the way Adam walked, how he was finally confident for once.
"So get this...,"

Sam explained to John about the apocalypse, how Adam was left in Hell, how Chuck Shurley's books were truth; he explained, as best he could in a short amount of time, why he and Dean did what they did.

"You know, I had a father named John,"

"Really?" John looked up at Sam, almost admiringly, like a father would, and gave him a knowing smile. "He raised you well, then."
Sam ducked his head in embarrassment and smiled.

Adam led the men into another room where two men sat. One was in a white tank top and sloppy pajama pants, scribbling furiously in a notebook, while the other was lying across a couch lazily. The one on the couch sat up when Adam entered, and a mischievous glint appeared in his eyes.

"Hello, Winchesters,"

Dean glared slightly at the archangel.
"Gabriel...So what is it this time? Faked your death again to get away from Lucifer?"

"Nope, Dean-o, but thanks for implying my cowardice. I actually did die, believe it or not, but I ended up... here. Not Heaven, not Hell, heck, I didn't even get to talk to dad about this! I just woke up a few blocks from this abandoned building when I came across---" he gestured to Chuck Shurley, who was writing, "Mr. High Prophet himself, who went off the grid right after Luci got locked in the cage."

Sam looked confused at both of them.
"But your times of death are two different things...?"

"I'm not dead," Chuck stated, and he faltered. Too many new faces in the room made him nervous.
"A-Actually, well, I disappeared. Apparently this dimension has to do with time travel, which had me writing Doctor Who and Sherlock prophecies long before any of the Winchesters came. I knew one day these characters would come to life, just like the Supernatural books did.
Everything was okay here until one day the ground shook, and suddenly, Adam was free of the cage."

"The youngest Winchester boy was free of Mikey, completely himself. But unfortunately, Luci got out as well, or so Angel Radio says. Luci is out of the cage, day in, day out...,"

Dean cast his eyes on Adam, who was staring at the floor.
"You didn't tell me that my escape set Lucifer and Michael free," he mumbled.

Gabriel went to speak, but Chuck stood up instead.
"None of us knew. Besides, it's best you got out of that cage, it was killing you. And like I said before, it was only a matter of time before these stories came to life...,"

"Adam spent all his time reading the books Chuck was writing, and he knew he had to get the people to believe in them. It took time, but the kid's a leader," Gabe clapped Adam on the shoulder.

"I, um, I knew we had to get you here if we wanted to combat the apocalypse, and so... we had to... had to tear apart one of the dimensions to create the rip in time to get to you..., Adam was looking at the floor again. He felt guilty, so guilty, of having to destroy an entire dimension to get ahold of The Doctor, Sherlock, and his brothers.

The Doctor even narrowed his eyes a little at the words. Cracks in time were dangerous, very dangerous. He didn't feel so important that a hole should've been ripped in space-time. But what's done was done.

The archangel and the prophet explained a bit more of confusing bid of information about angels, before Chuck got a splitting headache which dropped him to the ground. Books were knocked off the desk, and when the Prophet awoke, he began writing.

That was the signal to leave, and The Doctor invited the lot of them back to the TARDIS for the night, until Kyle and The Resistance could get a place for them to sleep.

The Doctor got as many blankets and sleeping bags as he could and sent everyone to a different TARDIS room. Dean glared at him as he was handed a pillow, but The Doctor was used to it at this point and only sighed sadly. It want easy being alien.

"Adam, wait a minute before you go. I'd like to talk to you," The Doctor said quietly.

Adam sat with The Doctor on a counter in the TARDIS, The Doctor's room, and immediately Adam knew what was going on.

"I hate it, Doctor. I hate what I did. I tore apart a Universe to try and get your attention. It all started in another dimension, then Chuck told me all about you and what you did in his visions... I knew you could help me --us-- out with everything that was going on...
I tore the hole in space-time and only about half of the original Resistance made it through to the other dimension. They were my people, Doc, and I... I... I went and killed them! I should have saved them!
Not to mention Lucifer is free now, we're low in numbers... its my fault. I'm no leader. I should be in Hell."

The Doctor listened intently to the boy.
"Adam Milligan, don't ever say that again. If you knew half of what I did, you'd never speak to me again. I abandoned my people during a war because I was afraid. You don't deserve Hell, no one does. You're a leader, I've seen what you've been doing, and they all trust you."

The Doctor pointed at the ceiling, buzzing his sonic screwdriver loudly. Millions and millions of stars and a purple galaxy littered the ceiling of the room they were in. Where The Doctor would sleep.

"You sleep here tonight. Look at all the stars. Look at how much bigger the universe is. You may feel so small, but know that you have people who believe in you, and you are so important. You've made it out of Hell, you've made mistakes, but where would these people be if you didnt?"
The Doctor whispered this to Adam with are knowing smile before stepping out.
"Good luck."

Adam stayed on the bed for hours afterwards, watching the universe move.
"Good luck."
