Time
"Ugh...where am I?" Marvin groaned as he slowly cracked his eyes open, the magician finding himself laying down on a bed with another bed above him.
"And why the fuck am I on a bunk bed?" Marvin added, sitting up to look at his new surroundings.
The others were gone somewhere, leaving Marvin alone in wherever he was much to his dismay.
"Welcome to LA I guess." Marvin murmured to himself while standing up, going over to the window and opening the white shutters to look outside.
Instead of seeing a city landscape in front of him, he was met with Anti perched on the windowsill looking at the magician with a psychotic grin on his face and a knife in hand.
"Hello Marvin, long time no see."
"What the fuck?!" Marvin shouted as he stepped back, Anti casually breaking the glass with the end of his knife handle to allow him to step inside.
"There's no escape for you." Anti sneered, the magician glancing back at the door before looking back at the demon.
"Sure." Marvin scoffed, grabbing the door handle and attempting to open the door to no avail.
"You seem to forget what I am capable of." Anti remarked, walking closer towards Marvin with his knife raised to strike.
"Funny, I was going to say the same thing to you." Marvin smirked before changing into a cat, slipping past Anti and hopping out the window.
Probably should've thought this out, Marvin thought as he plummeted towards the ground that was several stories up before landing on his four paws with a sickening snap, his front right paw giving out underneath him.
"Damnit!" Marvin cursed, a sharp hiss emanating from him instead of words as he limped out of the way of people passing by.
"Aw, poor thing."
Marvin froze in his tracks when he heard a woman's voice and felt a soft hand stroke his back, gently scratching behind his ears.
"C'mon, lets get you off of the streets." The woman cooed, carefully scooping Marvin up into her arms.
The magician fought to free himself from her arms, only to cry out when he felt pain flare in his leg.
"You'll be okay." The woman promised, Marvin falling still to keep from hurting himself further.
"Here we are." The woman announced, bringing Marvin into a pet shelter.
Well shit, Marvin thought grimly as he was handed off to a man and taken into a cage area filled with other cats meowing for freedom.
"Here ya go, your new home." The man stated gruffly, locking Marvin into a cramped cage next to a battle scarred black cat and a sleeping Siamese cat.
The magician let out a soft sigh as he curled up and closed his eyes, doing his best to ignore the throbbing in his leg as he prayed for someone to rescue him.
"Marvin, ve are back!" Schneep exclaimed as he, the Winchesters, and Chase returned to their hotel room.
"The fuck?" Dean muttered as he looked at the empty bed before noticing the smashed out window with shards of glass peppering the floor.
"You think Anti got him?" Sam whispered to Dean, his brother nodding grimly in response while Schneep gazed out of the window.
"How can we find him? LA is huge." Chase interjected, Schneep turning to look at the male with fierce determination shining in his eyes.
"I'll search zhe whole damn city if I have to, ve are finding Marvin." Schneep growled, storming out of the hotel room.
"Where are you going?" Sam called out after Schneep, the German ignoring him as he strode out of the hotel.
"Henrik-"
"Anti doesn't need to break windows to get in, so Marvin must have jumped and survived somehow." Schneep interrupted impatiently, abruptly pausing when he spotted a trail of blood droplets on the sidewalk.
"Mein mieze." Schneep whispered softly as he pushed through the crowd of people milling around, Sam apologizing as he followed the German.
"Schiesse!" Schneep hissed when the trail ended, leaving him and Sam with no other lead to follow.
"Looking for something?"
Sam and Schneep whirled around to see Anti standing behind them, a mischievous gleam in his obsidian eyes.
"Vhat did you do to Marvin?" Schneep demanded furiously, Anti only laughing in response.
"I don't know where he went, especially with that broken leg of his." Anti admitted, Schneep's blood turning cold.
"If I do find Marvin, I'll let you know. At least, after I take his soul and kill him." Anti offered, disappearing before Schneep could question him further.
"What happened?" Dean panted, slightly out of breath as he and Chase ran up to Schneep and Sam.
"We ran into Anti, he doesn't know where Marvin is either." Sam answered, Dean visibly relaxing slightly.
"That gives us more time to find him then." Chase chimed in optimistically, Schneep shaking his head with a cold chuckle.
"Lets just hope that he is okay vherever he is zhen."
