Gone

"Just tell me where my kids are damnit!"

"Oh Chase, impatient as ever even when you have all of the time in the world to question me. Wouldn't you like to know why I took them first?"

Sam and Dean motioned for Schneep to stay back as Anti and Chase talked in loud voices, the brothers standing on either side of the door with guns drawn.

Schneep held Marvin in his arms since the magician was still injured and in cat form, his blue eyes narrowed in anger at the sound of Anti's voice while his tail flicked back and forth.

"When Sam and Dean get back, they'll kill you." Chase threatened, his voice tinged with a slight uncertainty.

"None of them care about you, not even that doctor you seem to think so highly of." Anti pointed out, Schneep biting his lip as the words stung him.

"Hell, maybe you're right. Doc's like a close friend to me, and I may be just another problem to him. But I won't stop caring about people I consider my friends, even if I mean nothing to them." Chase countered calmly.

Sam and Dean exchanged a look before Dean burst through the door with his gun raised, Sam following him in while Schneep hung back.

"Glad you guys could join the party." Chase grunted from where he was standing by Anti with the demon's knife in his hand, a large cut visible on his other hand.

"You Winchesters need to keep a closer eye on your little friends." Anti spoke up, the demon sitting peacefully in the center of a pentagram painted on the floor in blood with his hands and feet restrained by rope.

"What do you mean?" Dean interjected warily, his gun pointed at Anti's head while the demon only laughed.

"Sorry for the delay, I ran into an old friend of mine."

Schneep tensed when he heard Dark's voice behind him, Marvin hopping out of Schneep's arms while shifting back to human form.

"Do you really think you can stop me?" Dark taunted Marvin, the magician wincing as he held his broken arm close to his chest and stood defensively between the dark haired demon and Schneep.

"Maybe he can't, but I sure as hell can." Dean spoke up, Sam staying in the room with Chase and Anti while Dean stood in the hall with his gun pointed at Dark's head.

A hotel staff member turned the corner and looked down the hall before freezing, their eyes wide as they quickly retreated away from the group.

"You'll really kill an innocent man to kill me?" Dark taunted as he gestured at himself, watching Dean's hands as they gripped the gun tight enough to turn his knuckles white.

"Hey Dark, care to get me out of here?" Anti called out from the hotel room, the demon squirming in his restraints with Sam keeping a gun trained on him.

"Sure, let me take care of some business first." Dark replied, the dark haired demon cracking his neck before snapping his fingers.

"I was hoping Anti could take your soul in person since he was so eager to, but since that hasn't been working, I'll just have to use the old fashioned way and have my hellhound kill you so she can drag your soul to hell." Dark remarked to Marvin, deep growling audible from behind the demon.

"N-no, no no no!" Marvin whimpered fearfully, nearly tripping over his feet as he staggered backwards and fell into Schneep's arms.

"Marvin, only you can see the hellhound. Tell me where it is so I can kill it." Dean directed the magician sternly as he stuck the gun in the waistband of his jeans and retrieved a slender silver blade.

"Vhat is that?" Schneep questioned, glancing at the odd shaped knife.

"It's an angel blade, it can kill this hellhound." Dean answered absent mindlessly, the male impatiently shifting from foot to foot as Marvin's eyes followed the invisible creature.

"It-it's walking towards me dead ahead...god it's fucking giant." Marvin reported grimly, Dark clasping his hands behind his back as the growling grew louder.

"I von't let you get hurt." Schneep whispered in Marvin's ear as he helped Marvin back to his feet, the German bracing himself to stand in harms way to protect the magician.

"Sic him." Dark commanded the invisible beast, gesturing at Marvin with a grin just as Sam emerged from the room with his own angel blade in hand, Chase watching Anti to make sure he didn't escape.

"Doc get back!" Dean barked, pulling Schneep away just as an invisible force tackled Marvin to the floor and began relentlessly tearing at his flesh.

Dark smirked as he flicked his wrist and sent the Winchesters flying towards the nearest wall, the two slamming against it and dropping their blades.

"HELP ME!" Marvin screamed with tears streaming down his face, his mask torn off of his face and destroyed into millions of pieces while large claw marks began appearing across Marvin's torso.

"Hang on, I can do this." Schneep promised Marvin under his breath as he managed to snatch up Dean's knife and blindly slash at the creature hurting Marvin.

"You'll pay for that!" Dark snarled as the hellhound whined in pain, a combination of the creature's blood and Marvin's blood staining the floor.

"It...hurts..." Marvin wheezed, his eyes barely cracked open as the magician limply wrapped an arm around his heavily bleeding abdomen.

"St-stay still, y-you're going to be okay." Schneep stammered as tears welled in his eyes, the German holding Marvin's head in his lap.

"Chase, bring me some fucking water and bandages from my bag!" Schneep snapped, his voice cracking with emotion.

"Sorry Doc, Chase isn't in at the moment."

Schneep looked up to see Chase standing in the doorway of the room with Jack's unconscious body laying on the floor barely visible behind him, his pitch black eyes boring into the German's.

"Good girl." Dark cooed to the hellhound before it, him, and Chase disappeared, allowing Sam and Dean to fall to the floor.

"How the hell did Anti get out?!" Dean yelled as he stormed into the room with Sam following.

"Marvin, please stay awake." Schneep pleaded desperately, his voice a higher pitch than usual as he waited for either brother to return with the supplies he requested.

"And for my final trick," Marvin breathed weakly with a small smile as he sat up enough for his lips to crash against Schneep's, the magician using his free hand to comb his fingers through the German's hair.

The magician managed to hold the passionate kiss for a few seconds before his head fell back into Schneep's lap, his blue eyes staring lifelessly into the German's.

"I'm sorry Doc." Dean spoke up gently as the brothers returned, tears silently streaming down Schneep's face to drip onto Marvin's exposed face.

"Yes, vell..." Schneep trailed off as he bowed his head in remorse, his hand delicately sliding over Marvin's eyes to close them.

"I am too."
