"Are we there yet?"
"No Keefe. You'll know when we get there because we will stop"
"Okay, that's how I'll know we're there, but how will you know?"
"I'll know it when I see it"
"Okay. But I'm sensing a lot of tension right now. I meant what I said to Sandor. I won't let anything hurt you."
Sophie then realized how close he was, and the way his arms were around her waist. She felt her cheeks heat up and hoped Keefe couldn't feel the change in her mood
"Are you scared?" He asked
"Not really. I mean I am a little but that's not the emotion your feeling from me."
"Then what are you feeling?"
"Shouldn't you know? You can literally sense what I'm feeling"
"Well yes but I can't seem to figure this one out"
"Well, um, it's, uh," she bit her lip, trying to figure out how to say this
"It's what? Just tell me Foster? Please?"
Sophie knew that he wouldn't give up so she just blurted out "it's love"
Keefe was silent for a minute then he spoke and said "I wish you were an Empath so you can feel my emotion instead of me saying it."
"Oh yeah? And what are you feeling?"
"I'm feeling like leaning in closer and doing this" then he leaned in and kissed her on the cheek. Sophie turned her head so he was kissing her on the lips and he didn't pull away. Sophie! Keefe! Love! Kiss! Fly! Then Sophie remembered what she was supposed to be doing and turned away to start steering again. "Sorry. I didn't want us to fall into the ocean. But I would definitely do that again. Oh and Silveny approves of us" she said smiling. Keefe's hands were on her waist and he was leaning on her shoulder. Sophie felt like they were an actual couple. Keefe said "I'm glad. Because if she didn't, she would probably give you a major migraine" Sophie laughed and said "yeah probably. Just kiss me again before we get there?" "Of course" then he leaned forward and kissed her again. When he looked up, he saw a row of rocks ahead.
"Is that....."
"I think it is"
Then they flew to the cave to fix Sophie
