#27: Children
A/N: Hi guys! I've finally been able to update this series, and it feels good to be able to do that again! With Lodestar coming out in less than four months, my Team Foster-Keefe senses are stronger than ever before, and there's so much drama happening with the two of them, that I think it will bring them closer together. So because of all of the uneasiness and drama in the fandom right now, I decided to make a nice one shot. So stop reading this note, and start reading the one shot!
Sophie looked around. She looked at her house, the decorations, and the person sitting bedside her, with his arm around her. Keefe Sencen. Her husband, and the father of her child, Kenric. They decided to name their child after Sophie's biological father, and one of the first people who showed kindness to her. Kenric was at school, but would be coming home soon. Sophie just decided to take everything in. When she had come to the Lost Cities, she had no idea that her life would turn out like this. She'd never guess that she'd have a husband, a home, a family. Then someone came through the door.
"Mom! Dad!" Kenric said. "You're never going to guess what happened today!"
"What happened?" Sophie asked her jittery son.
"Myran Vacker asked me out on a date!" He said, smiling.
"That's awesome! What are you planning to wear?" Sophie asked.
"I can help you pick it out" Keefe added.
"I don't know, I kinda want to match his outfit, but I feel like that would be creepy. I'm so confused! What did you guys wear on your first date?" Kenric asked.
"Oh gosh, that was so long ago. I'm pretty sure I wore a red tunic and black leggings. And then you wore a green shirt with black pants and a golden cape" Sophie said.
"So, I should just dress like I normally do?" Kenric asked. Keefe nodded.
"Don't worry buddy, when I was your age, I didn't have anyone to help me pick out my date clothes. In fact, my first date was with your mom, and I was about fifteen. So I'm here to help you look good. Though, with your genes, you'll always look good" Keefe said. Sophie blushed, though she didn't know why.
"Dad, you're making mom turn red again" Kenric said with a Keefe-like smirk. Keefe smirked as well, and the resemblance between father and son was uncanny, they both had disheveled blond hair, neat clothes, and the same mischievous smirk, but Kenric had Sophie's eyes. Keefe liked to say that Kenric was a wonder child, receiving the good looks of both him and Sophie, the sweetness and tough barrier of Sophie, and the flirtatious, yet cool personality of Keefe. Sophie had to agree with him. Their child was perfect. They accepted him no matter what. It wasn't uncommon in the elven world to be gay, and when he came out, there was a huge celebration for him, thrown by Grady and Edaline.
"Let's go upstairs and pick out what you're going to wear" Keefe said. He stood up, gave Sophie a kiss, then went upstairs with his son. Sophie watched them walk up the stairs, talking about what Kenric could possibly wear on his first date.
