(X's POV)

I was flying around the world doing my daily admin duties before recording another episode of season 7 Hermitcraft when heard what sounded like someone crying in the woods so I land in the woods to Investigate. As I walked around I could hear the crying becoming louder and soon I stood at the edge of a clearing where the crying was the loudest and what I saw surprised me. The one who was crying was my 'evil' twin Ex.

(EX's POV)

I sat in that clearing for what felt like hours crying my eyes out because I had just lost three of the wolves in the pack that I was adopted into when I first got into Season 7. I heard someone walk up to the edge of the clearing and I look up to see my twin standing there with a surprised look on his face so I turn away from him not wanting him to see me cry but I think it's too late for that. "Ex is that you?" I heard my brother ask and I let out a very faint yes which was barely audible and before I knew it I was pulled into a Hug by X and I cried into his chest not caring if he saw me as a weak person anymore and I just let grief take over me.

(X's POV)

I pulled my brother into a hug and I held him there knowing he needed someone to lean on for whatever he was going through. As I held him there I started to sing a song that we use to sing when we were little and had make-believe wars *Queue Music start*. As I Sang to him I could feel him relaxing in my arms and soon I could hear him singing along with me.

**Time Skip 2 hours later**

I could feel Ex slump against me and as I look down I saw he had fallen asleep so I slowly stand up while trying to wake him before I picked him up and pulled out some rockets before lighting one and launching into the sky heading towards my beeeeeeee base as Grian calls it.

**Another skip to when they arrive at the Beeeeeee base**

When I landed I headed towards the living quarters of my base where there wasn't so much stuff lying around or loud machines working. When I opened the door to the quarters I felt Ex stir in my arms before relaxing again and I let out a sigh of relief because A confused Ex is not a pleasant sight. I walked over to the nearest bed and I place Ex down before heading to the door when I was stopped by a hand gripping my shirt so I turn around just as Ex asked "c-can you stay brother" I looked at the time realizing it was already 12:00 am and I agreed as a wave of exhaustion fell over me and I soon joined him on the small bed and I hugged him close like I used to do when we were younger slowly drifting off to sleep and before I fell into the land of dreams I remember saying "I'll protect you bro"
