Grimm Drake has officially returned. And for now, he's here to stay. The loss of Drake's weapon was also very crucial. What's going to happen to him now that he's all Grimm'd up and lost his weapon? To be honest, I'm not even too sure. But in this chapter, we'll be introduced to debatably the best villain in all of RWBY. Until they ruined him, of course. Now I've just gotta come up with proper build up for him, showing how deadly he can really be. We'll be switching it up from Drake though and moving on to some of the other battles at Beacon. Enjoy!

-Point of View: Temair-

We were able to make it safely to Beacon academy without any issues. But when we got there, the school was in ruins. Fires were everywhere, Grimm were running wild, and somehow, Atlas soldier drones were taken over and were attacking innocent people. "Spread out! Take out as many enemies as you can!" Jaune said as everyone went along with his strategy. We all took out our weapons and took our stand at the front of Beacon's main hall. Me and Yatsuhashi worked together and cut down several large Ursa Grimm with ease. I could see Amber was working alongside Weiss who had come over to join the fight. They seemed to be doing fine so I didn't bother going over to help them. There weren't many Grimm around this area, and the Atlas drones were fairly easy to take down. But we soon found out that they were not the issue here. Breaking out of a wall near the dorms were two Atlas Paladin mechs. They quickly rushed over to us and began to open fire. We all fired back at them but our bullets simply bounced right off of them. I tried to severe the arm of one of the mechs with my axe but I missed and the mech proceeded to kick me away. I then saw Amber go in and activate her semblance. She caught the fist of one of the mechs and then she lifted it into the air. She began to spin while still holding onto it and soon after she let go and threw the mech into the second one. They crashed into each other but they both got back up and continued to fire at us. The second mech fired a missile at Amber who was rushing them. It struck the ground right in front of her and she was sent flying. I used my semblance to jump high off the ground and catch her in my arms. "You're overdoing it! You can't use so much strength like that! You've gotta conserve it!" I told her as we landed on the ground. "Wait until we wear them down, then you can go in and finish them off!" I explained to Amber as she gave me a nod.

We then went to face the mechs again but someone was already taking them on. Walking up to both of them was Velvet from team CFVY. She then reached out her right hand and appearing in it was a hologram of Ruby's scythe. Velvet then leaped into the air, going right above one of the mechs. She came down and sliced off one of its arms with one swing of the scythe. Velvet's weapon allows her to make Hard Hologram Dust copies of any weapon she's taken a picture of. And her semblance allows her to mimic someone's fighting style to the point that you'd think it was actually a different person. She wielded Ruby's scythe the same way Ruby would and she didn't stop there. She moved on to Weiss's weapon, then Yang's, Blake's, even Coco's minigun. She began to unload rounds into both mechs. But as much as she was trying, the minigun was proving to be ineffective. One of the mechs closed in on her and tried to punch her with its big metal fist. Velvet switched up her weapon and it took the form of Sun's staff. She spun it around and blocked the attack by the mech. She then returned the favour by changing her weapons form again. It took the form of my weapon in its axe form. She jumped up and swung the axe down, chopping off the other arm on that mech. She landed on top of it and she swapped weapons yet again. In place now was a pouch on her back. And coming out of it were the floating swords that Penny wielded. She began to make then float around her body in a circle formation. She then used hand motions to slice up the mech she was standing on. Piece after piece, Velvet was shredding the mech. She jumped off of it and landed in front of it. She made her blades go flying for the mech and she used them to cut one of the legs in half. The mech fell over but it was still trying to move. Velvet then began to make the swords float in a circle in front of her. They began to spin up faster and appearing in the centre of the circle was a ball of energy. Velvet thrusted her hands forward and from the centre of the blades, she fired a giant laser at the mech. She reduced it to ashes and now there was only one mech left. 

However, as we were all mesmerized by Velvet's skills, we all lost focus on the other mech. It was able to catch Velvet off guard and punch her in the face. She was sent flying and she lost her weapon. I began to run over to defend her as the mech continued to go after her. But as I rushed for her, Weiss used her glyphs on the ground to propel herself forward. She flew past me and I saw her going for Velvet as well. And then, appearing behind Weiss as she was rushing over to Velvet was another Glyph, only this one was much larger than normal. It also had different symbols on it, unlike all the other ones she normally makes. She stopped in front of Velvet and held her sword out, attempting to block the attack from the mech. The mech went in to punch Weiss and I saw Weiss close her eyes in fear. But as the mech got close, something miraculous happened. Appearing from the new Glyph behind Weiss was a large armored arm made of ice. It was wielding a gigantic sword and it met the attack from the mech. It stopped all of its momentum and Weiss opened her eyes back up to look surprised. She then waved her sword down and this caused the arm and sword to move as well. The ice arm lifted up the sword and swung down at the mech. It cut it clean in half with one swing. The ice arm and sword then disappeared and Weiss fell to her knees. I had finally made it over to them and I went to Weiss first. "Are you alright!?" I asked her. "I'm... fine. It just took a little out of me." Weiss said, sounding like she was tired. I then looked to Velvet and saw she was getting back up. She gave me a thumbs up, indicating she was alright. But while we may have beaten those two mechs, we were far from out of danger. 

The ground began to shake shortly after and the three of us rushed over to the main group. We met up with them and then looked to where they were all looking. Another Mech had shown up, and this one was larger than the other two. "That does it! I've had enough of all this fighting! I can't stand to see any more of my friends get hurt!" I said as I started to walk forward to the mech. The mech itself had started to run towards us all. "Temair, what're you doing! You can't take that thing on alone!" Amber said as I looked back and gave her a smile. "Watch me!" I said as I hit a hidden switch on the bottom of my weapon. My weapon was currently in its axe form and hitting this switch would not change it back to its gun form. Instead, my weapon morphed into a new, much smaller blade. I now wielded a long katana. I then pulled out a special ammo clip and loaded it into the base of my weapons grip. The ammo was filled with vibrating Dust shards which would amplify the power and vibrate my blade at high frequencies. The blade began to glow silver and vibrate wildly as the mech closed in on me. I took a ready position, holding my weapon with both hands in front of me. The mech lunged forward and tried to punch me with its left fist. I quickly side-stepped and swung down on that same arm. With ease, I chopped off the arm and then proceeded to go for the mechs legs. With one swing, I cut them both off and made the mech fall over. I then swung several times at the mechs body, slicing it to pieces until it blew up from all the damage. I then changed my weapon back to its axe form and then put it away. I turned away from the burning pile of metal and walked back over to my friends. 

-Point of View: Leena-

Me and Yang were able to find out what was going on. We helped people evacuate from the dorms and we managed to find our weapons. At this point, we had left the dorms and we were trying to find other people we could help. We ran around the main building for quite a while until we came to the main entrance. There, we found many of our friends and allies fighting off hordes of Grimm and Atlas soldier drones. When we arrived, we saw Temair had just finished up with chopping an Atlas mech to pieces. He came back over and he saw me and Yang. We ran over to him, along with Weiss and Amber. "Oh thank goodness you're both okay!" Temair said. "What's the situation here!?" I asked. "We're defending Beacon from the Grimm, White Fang, and the Atlas drones. We've got things covered here though." Amber said to me as I looked to Weiss. She was completely out of breath and looked like she might faint. "Weiss, have you seen Ruby anywhere?" Yang asked her. Weiss didn't say anything and only gave us a head shake. "What about Blake?" Yang asked her. "She went... after an Alpha Grimm. And some members of the White Fang." Weiss explained. I then looked back to Temair and said "What about Drake? Where's he?" I asked. "He sent me a message but I wasn't able to get the whole thing. He said he was going off to help Ruby but that was it. I'm sure they're fine." Temair explained to me as I agreed with him. "Alright. We're gonna go find Blake. We'll be back as soon as we can." Yang said as we both ran off. "Be careful!" Temair yelled as I gave him a thumbs up. 

Me and Yang ran around for quite a while, yelling out Blake's name. Several people ran by us, screaming in fear. Me and Yang directed them to safe zones where our friends were. "Blake! Where are you!" We both yelled as we ran by the dining hall. As we were passing by it, we heard a girl scream. We both stopped and looked inside. We saw Blake, laying on her back on the ground. There was a person standing over her, stabbing her in the chest with a red bladed sword. He wore a black jacket with a flower pattern on it, a Grimm mask, and he had blood red hair. 

He removed the blade from her body and thankfully, Blake was still moving. He hadn't killed her... yet. He then turned and faced both of us, sheathing his sword. His hair, for some reason, was also glowing a bright red colour. "Get away from her!" Yang yelled to him as the man put his hand back on the grip of his sword. Yang then exploded with anger, her eyes turning red in colour. Her hair began to glow too, meaning she was using her semblance to increase her strength. She launched herself forward at this man using her gauntlets. She readied her right fist to strike him down and at the same time, the man began to pull out his sword. His hair began to glow even more and when he started pulling out his sword, I could see it was glowing the same colour. Yang soared over to this man and went to strike him in the face. But as fast as she was, the man was faster. He pulled out his blade so fast and slashed it upward, meeting the middle of Yang's arm. With one attack, Yang was through. The man had cut off the lower half of her right arm. I had no words. I watched as Yang fell to the ground and fainted from the overwhelming pain. The man then faced me again as I readied my own weapon. "And what about you? Do you wish to attack me like this fool of a girl?" The man said, pointing to Yang. I ran into the dining hall and changed my weapons configuration. It was in its shotgun mode now and I began to fire at the man. He blocked several of my shots with his sword, and as my shots hit it, the sword would briefly glow again. "Blake, if you can move, get Yang out of here! Temair, Weiss and the others are over by the main hall! Take yourself and Yang to safety! I'll deal with this monster!" I said as Blake did everything she could to stand up. She picked up Yang and made a run for it out of the dining hall. The man watched them escape and then he looked back to me. "You're going to pay for letting my dearest escape." He said to me as I changed my weapons form again. I pulled the lever on it twice and my weapon transformed into a sword. "You're the one who's going to pay for hurting my friends!" I yelled as I charged the man. 

I went to slash him but he countered and we locked our blades. He was pushing me back, making me bend backwards. I tried my best to keep my balance but I had to move quickly to get out of this situation. I quickly tried to kick the mans legs and I was able to without falling over. He lost his balance momentarily and I was able to jump back. I then morphed my weapon back to its shotgun form and I fired two blasts at the man. I managed to graze his right shoulder with one of the blasts but he blocked the other with his sword. His sword briefly glowed again when he blocked my attack. "You're starting to get on my nerves. I'm going to make sure my dearest receives your head in a box." The man said as he held up the hilt for his weapon. It morphed into a shotgun and he started firing at me. I jumped out of the way and I landed behind a table, protecting me from his shots. But as I sat there, trying to reload my weapon, the man came at me again. He used his sword to slice the table in two, just barely missing my arm when he cut it. It jumped back up to my feet and changed my weapon back to its sword mode. "Why are you doing all of this!?" I asked the man as we locked blades again. "I'm doing all this for Blake! Humanity has shunned us Faunus from the light and now it is our time to take revenge! And you will be just one of the many steps we take to meet our goal!" The man said as he swung his sword back and down on me again. I blocked it and we became locked once again. But what I didn't realize is that the man was only wielding his sword with one hand now. I watched as he reached to his side with his free hand and pull out his swords hilt. He changed it into a shotgun and fired it at the right side of my chest. The bullets penetrated through my aura, depleting it. I could feel the bullets go right through and I screamed in pain as I took a step back from the man. 

I held my wound with my left hand and I saw as the man sheathed his sword into its hilt. His hair began to glow bright red again, just like it did when he attacked Yang. He then pulled out his sword and it was also glowing bright red. "May this mighty blade strike you down and purge you of all your sins." The man said as he ran at me. I took my hand off of my wound and held my weapon with both hands. The man went for a rising slash with his sword, coming from below. I held my sword across and attempted to block his attack. But with one swing, the man was able to slice my weapon in two. He chopped it clean in half and I stood there stunned. I stared at the man in disbelief as he was not yet finished. With me wide open, the man then brought his sword back down and attacked me directly. He thrusted it straight into my left eye. I screamed in pain as the man kept shoving it deeper and deeper. I tried to reach up and grab the blade but the man pulled it out before I could grab it. I fell to the ground, still screaming from the agonizing pain and watched as he stepped over me. "Now die." The man said as he held his sword above me. But as he was about to kill me, Blake returned and stopped his attack with her sword. "That's enough!" She yelled as the man stepped away a few feet. Blake then grabbed my hand and began to pull me away from the man. And as I looked back, I could see Blake had used her semblance to make a shadow clone of us both. The man had his attention on the clones the whole time. "Why must you hurt me, Blake?" I heard him say as he sliced off the head of the Blake clone. We managed to escape the monster of a man and Blake carried me to the safety of all my other friends. The overwhelming pain from the man impaling my eye caused me to faint though, as I blacked out when we left the dining hall. And then, I felt nothing after that, no pain, no blood dripping... it was as if everything in my body had shut down. I think I died...
