It feels nice to be done with Volume 1 now. And now, of course, we'll be moving on to Volume 2, starting with what might be the most epic food fight ever animated. Honestly, this was one of the best moments out of the entire volume. I just don't see how you can't enjoy it. The only issue i'm having when it comes to writing about it is thinking of what types of food team DLTA should use. Every member of team JNPR and RWBY seem to have one in specific they use so it feels right that DLTA should have their own as well. I'm sure i'll think of something though. And lastly, i'm going to be including what I am calling team DLTA's main theme. It's called "Thrill Seeker." It was composed by a youtuber named Rush Garcia. If you don't know who he is, I highly recommend checking him out. He's done some phenomenal orchestrations. All rights go to him as well for the music i'll be including now and later in this series. -Time Skip: 1 Month-

"It's hard to believe our first semester is over already. I mean, it feels like we still hardly know each other." Temair said as we all sat together in the cafeteria. Me and my teammates sat across from team JNPR and right behind us at another table was most of team RWBY. Ruby herself was nowhere to be seen. "I know. But hey, we start the new semester tomorrow. I'm sure it'll be way more fun than the last one." Leena said as we all agreed with her. "Heads up Drake. Trying to hit Yang." Nora said as she flicked a grape past my head using a spoon. I looked behind me and saw Yang catch the grape in her mouth. "I'm sure we'll have new teachers this semester too. Hopefully they're a little more... normal than the ones we've had so far." Jaune said as everyone started to laugh. Nora flicked another grape over me but yet again, Yang caught it in her mouth. And then, Ruby finally showed up. She dropped a huge binder onto her teams table and cleared her throat. "Sisters! Friends! ...Weiss." Ruby said, looking at all of us. "Hey!" Weiss said. Ruby ignored her teammate and continued her speech. "Four score and seven minutes ago, I had a dream." She said. "This oughta be good." Yang said as she caught yet another grape in her mouth. "A dream that one day, the four of us would come together, as a team, and have the most fun anyone has ever had... Ever!" Ruby said as I could see Weiss looking very curiously at Ruby. "Did you steal my binder?" Weiss asked her. "I am not a crook." Ruby said which made me chuckle a bit. "What are you talking about?" Blake asked Ruby. "I'm talking about kicking the semester of with a bang!" Ruby explained as Yang jumped in. "I always kick my semesters off with a Yang! Eh? Guys? Am I right?" She said as everyone just shook their heads. Nora on the other hand now threw a tomato past my head, hitting Yang square on the nose and yelling "Booooo!" "Look guys it's been a good month, and between more exchange students arriving and the tournament at the end of the year, our second semester is going to be great! But classes start back up tomorrow. Which is why I've taken the time to schedule a series of wonderful events for us today!" Ruby explained as I watched Yang stand up and throw an apple back at Nora. "I don't know whether to be proud or scared of what you have in store." Weiss nervously said. "I don't know. I think I might sit this one out." Blake said. "Ah, come on. A little fun won't hurt. We're in for a little bit of fun before the semester starts, right guys?" I asked my teammates as they all nodded. "Well sit out or not, I think however we spend this last day we should do it as a team." Weiss said as she stood up from her seat. At the same time, I saw out of the corner of my eye that Nora was holding a pie now. I quickly ducked and watched as she threw it at team RWBY. "I for one think that-" Weiss tried to say but she was hit in the face with the pie. "Uh oh." I said as Nora tried to put the blame on Ren. The rest of team RWBY stood up, all of them having angry expressions on their faces. Team JNPR soon stood up, Nora cracking her knuckles. "I-I think I know where this is going..." Amber said as we all stood up. I then looked to Ruby as I grabbed a piece of pie that Nora had on her plate. "Well Ruby, you wanted to have the best day ever. And now, it seems you'll get it! Starting with a food fight!" I yelled as I threw the pie at her face.

By now, all of the other students had evacuated the cafeteria, leaving our three teams to have our brawl. "Ahahahaha! I'm queen of the castle! I'm queen of the castle!" Nora cheered from the top of a pile of tables. Her and her team had taken shelter there while mine and Ruby's teams were spread out on the ground. "Justice will be swift! Justice will be painful! IT WILL BE DELICIOUS!" Ruby yelled as her teammates cheered with her. "We will not fall to your delectable desserts! Prepare to get served!" Leena yelled as everyone began to spread out. "Temair! Use these!" I yelled as I threw two grape fruits over to him. He quickly took off his shoes while running and jammed his feet into the fruits. He then took, activating his semblance Leap, heading right for team RWBY.   Leena on the other hand grabbed some ketchup and mustard bottles and she was firing spurts of the condiments over to team JNPR. As for Amber, she grabbed a chain of sausages and ran straight for Weiss, flailing the sausages through the air. And as for myself, I grabbed two long cucumbers and I made my way over to team JNPR. Leena came me covering fire and I was able to make it to their pile of tables. I was intercepted by Pyrrha who locked weapons with me. She was wielding a long baguette. Running past us were the rest of her teammates who went on to fight everyone else. "We're still friends after this, right?" I asked Pyrrha as she started laughing. "Yep! And we're the ones who are going to win!" She yelled as she took one hand off of the baguette she was wielding. It began to glow with that black aura again, a clear sign she was using her semblance. I activated mine and I could feel something coming from behind me. I quickly ducked and Pyrrha jumped off to the side, just avoiding a flying metal food tray. "Gonna have to try harder to catch me off guard." I said as we both started laughing. 

Meanwhile, Temair was currently in combat with Yang. Yang had stuck both of her hands into some turkeys and she was doing everything she could to try and hit Temair. Temair was jumping around Yang with ease, going in for hard kicks that were amped up in power thanks to his semblance. "Resistance is fruitile!" Temair yelled as he went in for another attack. Yang quickly turned around, crossing her arms and turkeys in front of her body. Temair landed his feet covered in fruit on the turkeys and he jumped right off of them. Yang however, seemed to have this planned. She quickly jumped after Temair, catching up to him. The two fought in the air, jumping from wall to wall. Punch after punch, kick after kick, neither were able to get the advantage over the other. However, when the two of them returned to the floor, Nora entered the battle, wielding a short metal flagpole with a watermelon stuck to the end. She went on to swing it violently at her two combatants. With one hard strike, Nora struck Temair in the side of the chest, sending him flying off to the side, hitting a wall and cracking it. Temair fell to the ground shortly after and did not move even a single inch. As for Yang and Nora, they were still duking it out. The two of them were colliding their weapons together, splattered juice and pieces of meat everywhere. Yang went in for an overhead punch while Nora went for an uppercutting slam with her watermelon. Nora was the faster of the two and she was able to land her attack first. Yang was sent flying through the roof of the cafeteria. It didn't seem like she was coming back down for a while. Nora then moved on to her next victim. 

As for Amber, she seemed to be holding her own against Ruby and Ren. Whipping around her chain of sausages, she was able to keep her two opponents at a safe distance. Ren attempted to throw a long piece of celery at Amber but she intercepted it by ensnaring it with the sausages. She then whipped it forward, launching the celery stick back at Ren. Ruby went for a more direct approach though. She hopped onto a food tray and began surfing down a line of tables right at Amber. "Surf's up! Better watch out!" Ruby yelled as she jumped off the tray, going right for Amber. "N-Nice t-try! But you're the wurst!" Amber yelled as she whipped her sausages around, wrapping them around Ruby's left wrist. With one hard pull, Amber forced Ruby to the ground. And after pulling again, Amber yanked Ruby over to her and delivered a strong kick to her gut. "Uuuuuuugh...." Ruby said as she fell to her knees. Amber then wrapped the chain of sausages around Ruby's arms, subduing her. However, as she did that, Ren appeared from behind and he placed another stick of celery across Amber's neck. He began to pull, taking Amber with her and allowing Ruby to free herself. "Not so tough without you weapon, are you?" Ren said confidently as Amber's body started to slightly glow white. Amber had activated her semblance and increased her strength. With one quick move, Amber reached up and grabbed Ren's head with both of her hands. She tossed him over her head and slammed his body into the ground right in front of her. But before Amber could go in for another strike, Blake came in and wrapped her own sausage chain around Amber's right foot. She pulled on it and caused Amber to fall over. They were locked in a heated battle. 

Leena on the other hand was having difficulties of her own. She was currently fending off Weiss. Jaune was also there but he wasn't causing much troubles. Leena simply squirted ketchup into his eyes, blinding him temporarily. As for Weiss though, she was also using a bottle of ketchup as her weapon. Back and forth, both girls were firing spurts of ketchup at each other. Each were able to dodge with ease though, jumping out of the way before they got hit. "This is pretty fun, Weiss! I'm glad I got to ketchup with you!" Leena said as she jumped onto a table, dropping the bottle of ketchup at her feet. Leena then stomped down on the bottle, sending ketchup everywhere at Weiss. Weiss had nowhere to run and she was covered in the condiment. "Ew, gross..." She said as she raised her bottle into the air. "Looks like i'm going to have to play ketchup then!" Weiss yelled as she slammed her ketchup bottle into the floor. Using her semblance, Weiss was able to create a large wave of ketchup that flowed toward Leena. And like Weiss, Leena became covered in ketchup. The fighting ensued though as Nora butted in. She went after Weiss first, waving her pole with the watermelon on it at her. Weiss tried to counter by using a swordfish that she found on the floor. The two locked weapons but Nora was the superior of the two. She easily overpowered Weiss, breaking through her defense and leaving her wide open. With one hard swing, Nora smashed her watermelon into Weiss's gut, sending her flying backwards into a concrete pillar. The pillar broke up impact and it began to crumble. Ruby jumped in and caught Weiss before she could be crushed though. "Weiss? Weiss!? Don't leave me! Nooooooo!" Ruby yelled out as she held her unconscious teammate in her arms. Nora then continued on to Leena who had picked up two long carrots. "Ready to be juiced!?" Nora said to Leena as Leena started to run at her. "I don't carrot all! Bring it on!" Leena yelled as the two of them continued on with their battle. 

As for myself, I was still fighting with Pyrrha. I managed to break her baguette but she quickly returned fire by using her semblance to make some pop cans fly at me. I jumped out of the way and over to a table that was flipped over. I had to take cover since I had no way of getting close to her. "Come on, think! How can I hit her from here?" I thought to myself as Ren came flying out of nowhere. He slammed into a vending machine, causing the machine to unload all of the cans inside it. "Perfect!" Pyrrha said as she started to make some of the cans float. I peered over the edge of the table to see her attack Amber and Blake with the cans. The cans blew apart on impact creating a colourful explosion. Amber and Blake were sent flying to the other side of the cafeteria. "She's distracted! Now's my chance!" I thought to myself as I picked up a few apples. I rolled out from the side of the table and I chucked the apples over to Pyrrha. She countered me by shielding herself with more pop cans. "It's no use Drake! I've got more ammo! Say goodbye!" Pyrrha said to me as she placed her hand on the ground. All of a sudden, all of the pop cans that were laying on the ground began to float. There was easily over 200 cans. Pyrrha thrusted her arms forward and she sent all of them careening across the cafeteria. "Oh no..." I said as I quickly became bombarded with colourful soda. But even though some of the cans were hitting me, they kept on going, aiming to hit everyone else on team RWBY and DLTA. At this point, only Ruby, Nora, and Leena were fighting. I was quickly able to peer behind me and I saw Ruby take a runners position. In the blink of an eye, Ruby shot herself forward, activating her semblance. She rushed straight through the oncoming wall of cans. The force from her speed was so strong it created a wind tunnel going in the opposite direction the cans were going. Ruby's wind was more powerful and it changed the direction the cans were flying in completely. Ruby bolted past us all, stopping just before hitting the wall at our end of the cafeteria. Everyone in team JNPR stood up to run from the flying pop cans. Leena even turned and started to run away. Even I turned to run but it just wasn't enough. All six of us were sucked up by the wind tunnel and we were all slammed into the wall behind us. We were all them pelted with the pop cans, each breaking open and covering us in fizzy soda. And when the wind and cans finally stopped hitting us, we all fell to the ground, laying their in defeat. 

Everyone then slowly began to get back up and clean themselves off. Temair and Amber were up too, coming over to everyone and laughing with us. But even though we had a lot of fun, that quickly changed. Coming in through the main entrance was Glynda and she did not look happy. She took out her weapon of choice, a riding crop, and she used it to focus her semblance. Glynda began to make every object in the room float around, reverting everything to the way it was before we started our fight. After a few minutes, you wouldn't have been able to tell there was a food fight at all, other than the messes on our clothes of course. Glynda then gave us one serious look and said "Children please... Do not play with your food." We all looked to each other but we couldn't help but laugh again. "We're sorry miss Good-" I tried to say as Yang came crashing through the ceiling. "She was falling for that whole time?" I thought as she stood up, looking just fine. And shortly after, Professor Ozpin showed up and he started whispering into Glynda's ear. I don't know what he said to her but we were all let off without any punishment. Well, I guess cleaning our stained clothes was our punishment. But regardless, we all just kept laughing and laughing. We had the time of our lives in that fight and we'd probably have even more fun once the new semester started. "Come on, guys. Let's go clean up. We all smell pretty bad." Ruby said as we all agreed with her. We all then headed out of the cafeteria and back to our rooms. And the only thing I was able to think of the whole time was, "This is going to be an epic semester!"
