It was only inevitable that they were late.

‘I mean nothing good ever happens to us especially when you want it the most’ Faith thought while speeding down the highway.

She could have let them taken the school bus that was around but she wanted to see the little cuties off on the first day of school.

She started to reminisce the whole reason she adopted those little boogers.

Flashback

She was currently seated at the waiting area flipping through some lame magazine.

“Why do we have to be here I’m getting bored babe” Faith whined.

The guy next to her smiled at her lovingly we’ve been trying for, months remember you’re the wanted to check if either one of us had any problems that we were ‘unable’ to have kids”

Before she could respond a shrill “Mister and Mrs. Mathews please come to the back the doctor is ready for you.” The unknown secretary announced.

They walked in the doctor then proceeded to ask them the usual questions.

The took the samples and half an hour of waiting in the dull room the doctor came back with the results.

“I’m sorry but your wife’s uterus is not producing the necessary eggs to create the child you want I’m afraid she can never have kids.”

Their eyes widened.  Tears started to form in the corners of her eyes.

She ran out of the hospital.


~ 2 months later ~

“Honey I’m home. Can you believe the cashier mixed our groceries with the person behind me-“ She halted in her tracks.

There on the couch was her supposed fiancé fucking her only sister.

“Oh shit!” Faith this isn’t what it looks like.” Niala her supposed loving sister stated.

“Y-you son of a bitch you’re fucking my sister!” Faith exclaimed in hysteria.

“And you ,you’re supposed to be, my sister not a home wrecking wench.

“I’ve given you everything you’ve ever wanted. What have you asked for that I haven’t given you-“

“KIDS FAITH SHE CAN GIVE ME KIDS SOMETHING YOU CAN’T DO!” He shouted.
Tears welled up in her eyes.

“ If you want kids so bad go and marry her you disgusting bastard. She threw her wedding ring on the floor and walked out the house and slammed the door.

She sighed and accelerated it wasn’t like she was going to she them anytime soon.
Boy how wrong she was.
