It has come to my attention that naruto is a cool anime because of one reason.
Zetsu

believe me when I say this, Naruto shonen would not be a thing, because if Zetsu wasnt a thing, Orochimaru would have sought out the akatsuki and preach a bigger threat. The akatsuki wouldnt be a bad organization.
In shippuden, Nothing wouldnt have happened, the only and main threat in shippuden was the akatsuki. Sasuke is ruled out because if there was not akatsuki, Itachi wouldnt be there and without zetsu controlling madara who is controlling obito, the nine tails attack wouldnt have caused suspicion to the uchiha and wouldnt have been slaughtered.
Naruto the anime would be a peaceful anime, despite the ninja village conflict. Also if it werent for zetsu, the war wouldnt have bonded the villages together and they would have been fighting and lead to a normal ninja war.

Oh and naruto wouldnt have been a jinjuriki and he would have parents OH AND THE UCHIHA WOULDNT HAVE BEEN KILLED BECAUSE THE NINETAILS ATTACK WOULDNT HAVE HAPPEND so the village would still trust the uchiha. Also, the third hokage would die peacefully, the fourth would be the fourth, tsunade would continue her gambling. Naruto might not have met jiraiya, and sakura would be useless. Oh and naruto wouldnt have had immense chakra and learned shadowclone (he only learned it because he acts out because he has no parents, so he wouldnt have a reason to steal the scroll. He would have graduated easily because he wasnt depressed) oh and obito might have not been crushed by stupid boulders, because the ninja attack that injured obito, was planned once again. Oh and rins death wouldnt have happened, BECAUSE THAT WAS PLANNED TOO. Kakashi wouldnt have had sharingan, and maybe tenzo wouldnt have been a experiment because Danzo would be less "ahem" evil. Oh and danzo most likely would have lived a longer life.
SO TO PUT IT SIMPLE, ZETSU MADE NARUTO INTERESTING.
