"The half moon is tonight, Alpha."
Seokjin paused from tearing into his meal, raising his head and waving Jisoo off as he gloomily ripped apart the deer in front of him with his hands, chomping down on the meat and chewing obnoxiously. Jisoo frowned, walking in and pressing a hand to Seokjin's forehead, and she gasped when she felt how hot it was.
"Jesus," Jisoo muttered, "that mating mark is really causing some bad withdrawal symptoms, huh? Don't worry. You'll be able to see Namjoon tonight if our ancestors promise you to remain as the alpha."
Seokjin lowered his head and sighed. "And if they don't?"
"You'll still be able to see him." Jisoo reassured gently. "Don't mope so much...I'm sure Namjoon's as excited to see you again as you are."
Seokjin ducked his head and sat up straight, licking the blood off of his lips and glancing at the pretty female nervously. "Are you leaving now to head over to the hills?"
"The moon is almost up." Jisoo said with a smile, and she ruffled Seokjin's messy brown hair. "I'll be back by midnight. Don't do anything rash while I'm gone, and go check up on Jimin's pups, please. I think they're showing signs of beginning to shift."
Seokjin nodded and sighed. "Travel safely." He murmured as Jisoo turned into her slender wolf form and slipped out the door of the den.

"I told you the project was due today but you still don't have it finished? I typed out the entire thing for you!" Namjoon's eyes blazed as he grabbed his coffee order from the front of the counter and whirled around to glare at his partner who was sheepishly stirring his caramel flavored coffee. "All you had to do was print out what I typed and glue it on the damn poster!"
"I-I know, okay, but like, I kinda got carried away playing this new video game I downloaded last night and I ended up falling asleep." His friend scratched the nape of his neck awkwardly and sat down in front of Namjoon as the male hurriedly connected to the printer in the back of the coffee shop's office. "I'll get it..." He mumbled as Namjoon didn't respond.
"Agh—Jackson, wait, don't forget that it has to be cut out and the corners have to be rounded." Namjoon called, and the male shot him a thumbs up as he walked into the staff room to grab the papers that were currently being printed out.
Namjoon watched as the door closed and sighed, leaning back into his seat before unfolding his piece of paper in front of him and tearing it in half, biting one half and laying down the other. He began cutting and snipping it in certain shapes and looked up when Jackson sat back down besides him.
"We have thirty minutes before class starts." Jackson said with a huff and started on decorating the white poster board in front of him. "We've got time."
"Make it look neat so that it doesn't look like we spent literally four seconds on it." Namjoon muttered, gulping down a mouthful of coffee and blowing out a tired breath, glancing at his watch.
Tonight was the half-moon. As he thought more about the fact that Seokjin would return the next morning, his heart quickened and he grew giddy. His eyes brightened when he saw the time was nearing classtime, and he was eager to finally turn in this project and go home. He had planned to go shopping and get lots of dog treats and meat and candy, and spend the next day with Seokjin watching movies and cuddling.
The day went by slowly because of that, and by the time Namjoon was at home after school and coming back from the market, lugging a bunch of groceries into his apartment, there was no sign of Seokjin, and Namjoon went to bed extremely early in hopes of waking up to Seokjin's warm body besides his.
The next morning, Seokjin did not show up.
"Where is he?" Namjoon mumbled impatiently, tapping his foot on the ground as he peered out his window, the blankets wrapped around him like a huge marshmallow shifting as he peeked and glared out the cold glass. "He promised."
But hours and hours passed, and Namjoon was slowly growing more and more restless. Where was Seokjin? It was in the afternoon With four empty ramen cups besides him, he finally made up his mind to get up and go to the werewolf's camp himself.
