"Until Seokjin mates with Namjoon, he'll still be unable to control that curse of his."
Jimin hissed, gritting his jaw as Jisoo tucks bandages over his side wound while Tae and Rose watch with big, worried eyes. Tae's eyes are brimming with tears while Rose scoffs and kicks her paws out.
"Our Alpha's a huge meanie!" Rose huffed. "Why would he hurt Mommy like that?!"
Jimin snorted. "You can ask anyone that and nobody'll be able to answer that, sweetie." He frowned when Tae sneezed twice, shaking his small body side to side.
Rose tucked her snout against Jimin's scruff, whining. "You'll be okay, right Mommy?"
Jimin sighed and laid his head back. "I've had worse, darling...no need to worry."
Tae shuffled his paws and nudged Jisoo's side. "Aren't we supposed to calm down the Alpha when he's unstable?" Tae looked worriedly at his mother and looked down at his tiny paws, hopping to all fours before scurrying away. "I'll do it! Uncle Seokjin likes me!"
Jisoo turned around with a startled bark. "No! Tae, stay back!"
But Tae had already pushed out of Jisoo's den, scurrying into Seokjin's den where the Alpha wolf was huddled up in the corner, trembling. Tae's eyes brightened, a happy yip leaving his lips. "Uncle Seokie!"
Seokjin turned, eyes a dark, watery red. "Tae..?"
Tae scrabbled his paws and landed besides Seokjin clumsily, and the snowy wolf nudged Tae up to his paws again. Tae sneezed, shaking his head and looking up at the humongous wolf happily. "Why're you crying?"
Seokjin sighed heavily and looked down at his paws again, shifting into his human form with a soft growl. "I'm crying because..." Seokjin brought the tiny pup to his lap and Tae's whiskers twitched.
"You smell nice," Tae commented quietly to himself, prodding his nose against Seokjin's chest.
"...because, nobody likes me."
Tae's whiskers twitched and he sneezed again. "I like you, though! A lot!"
Seokjin smiled softly and rubbed Tae's head, massaging the area between his ears. "Do you now?" He mumbled, frowning when Tae sneezed again. "Jesus...is it dusty in here or what? You seem to be allergic to something."
Tae shook his head and hopped off Seokjin's lap, sneezing again underneath his chest and sitting with a whine. He sneezed again a couple of times and shook his head again. Seokjin sat up slowly, confused. "Tae?"
Tae whined and flopped forward, eyes watery. "Don' feel good..." The pup sniffled and fell to the ground, laying down like a dog on the brink of death, snout flaring.
Seokjin rushed forward without another thought, holding the pup to his chest. "Tae? What the hell? What's with you?" He gently shook his shoulders, and Tae's eyes turned blank. "Tae?"
Tae whimpered. "U-uncle...I-I can't...feel my p-paws..."
And as Seokjin cradled the pup to his chest, his eyes an alarming shade of red, the entrance to the ivy broke open to reveal Jisoo and Jimin. Their eyes widened at Tae's state, and Jisoo darted forward, slamming Seokjin asides while grabbing Tae's scruff and bringing him to Jimin.
Jimin's eyes were big. "Tae...? Oh, God..."
Seokjin got to his feet shakily. "You don't understand—Jimin, I didn't—"
Jimin snapped his gaze up accusingly. "Of course you didn't! You never do, Seokjin, you never do!" He screamed, his chest constructing as he shifted into his human form and had Tae to his lap. "Oh, God, Tae...not you..."
Seokjin got to his feet, eyes big. "No...Jisoo, please...you have to believe me...?"
Jisoo turned softly. "Never in my hundred years of living have I ever felt a scrap of remorse over a mother mourning over their pup." Jisoo crossed her arms over her breasts and sighed, shaking her head in disappointment. "But right now...I do."
Seokjin laughed softly. "I didn't—"
"He's hurt at your hands again, Alpha." Jisoo cut him off as Jimin buried his face into Tae's belly and began wailing again, soft, drawled whines that were thick with raw emotion, sheer sorrow soaking every sob that escapes his throat.
Tae's tiny paws scrabbled, once. "U-Uncle Seok..." Tae's dark green gaze flickered over to Seokjin. "Not...a-again...he..."
Seokjin broke his gaze, and Tae's paws halted.
"...not him."

Namjoon nursed his cup of creamy instant green tea on his bed, fidgeting in the awkward silence as the figure sitting on Namjoon's wheely chair was sitting quietly. His cup of tea was left unbothered on top of Namjoon's desk, his elbows propped up on his knees in quiet silence.
"How..."
The figure straightened up. "Just," he cut Namjoon off and the human closed his lips. "let me think."
Namjoon sighed and looked away, lips bitten. "If you're looking for forgiveness, I don't think I can give it to you after...after that."
The broad figure turned to Namjoon with narrowed eyes. "Oh, please. As if I'd come to you for any type of forgiveness."
Namjoon puffed out his cheeks. "Look, I let you all the way in here because you wanted me to—"
"Can you please be quiet for a little bit?" Impatience lines the figure's tone, chipped and cool, and Namjoon purses his lips in equal annoyance but nonetheless he quieted himself down and sat back, sipping his creamy, sweet tea quietly.
The figure drawls out a long sigh, kicking out his legs and glancing over at Namjoon who was puffing his cheeks out. His eyes scanned over Namjoon's neck, his bare hands, his tummy that could be seen underneath his huge sweater. Namjoon noticed and flushed madly, clearing his throat and looking away. "We haven't..." Namjoon shook his head. "...we haven't mated yet."
The figure nodded. "Good."
Namjoon snapped his gaze up. "How is that a good thing?!"
The figure snorted and poked a finger at himself. "I want to tell him about how he literally has nobody that is sexually attracted to him. I beat him to it and I still want to continue to rub it in his face."
"I-I am!" Namjoon yipped indignantly, and the figure let out a growling laugh. "I'm attracted to him!"
The figure whistled and nodded. "Really now."
"S-stop changing the subject!" Namjoon huffed, looking away. "We're here to discuss how the hell you're even gonna go back to the pack, after what, being back for an entire day?" Namjoon's eyebrows furrowed. "Taehyung!"
Taehyung winced and his dark eyes flashed green before he pounced forward with a loud whine, eyes sparkling. "Okay, okay! Namjoon, you've like, gotta help me! I don't know what to do!"
"For what?" Namjoon snapped, frowning.
"Going back! How am I supposed to explain to them that—that I'm not dead?!" Taehyung growled out, moaning and shaking his head. "God...the ancestors let me come back because—because even they were shocked! They saw me and were like, 'Hey who the hell are you? You're not supposed to be here!' which means they were not expecting my death!"
Namjoon just shook his head. "Just go back!"
"But I can't! Not until..." He trailed off.
"Not until what?" Namjoon said, eyes wide. "What?"
Taehyung swallowed hard and pushed Namjoon on the bed, and he hovered his lips over Namjoon's shoulder. Namjoon whimpered and tried to push the wolf away but Taehyung shoved him onto the bed, and sank his fangs into Namjoon's shoulder.
Namjoon screamed.
