"Hello?"

"Hi mom. I just wanted to let you know that you won't have to watch Didi tonight."

"Why not? What happened to your date?"

"Jess is sick so she canceled."

"She's sick? Well Danny, you're just going to let her be sick at home all alone?"

"Is that wrong?"

"Well son, now is your chance to make a good impression. Make some soup and take it to her.
Just be there with her. This is already an emotional time for her, I'm sure she doesn't want to be alone"

"That's true! Okay, I'll go! Can you watch Didi?" He chuckles.

"Of course!" Zoe laughs.

"Daddy, what are you doing? I thought I was going to grandma and grandpa's!"

"You are, I'm just making some soup real quick."

"Why? I don't want soup!" Delilah shouts that last part.

"Geez, don't shout! It's not for you anyway!" Danny laughs.

"Ah!" Delilah's jaw drops.
"Why aren't you making it for me?"

"Because you don't like it!"

"Yeah welllll! You smell!"

"Jesus, you're a little dramatic!" Danny chuckles.

After dropping Delilah off at his parents, he headed to Jessica's house.

Jessica is currently laid out on the couch underneath a blanket.
She was flipping through the channels when she heard the doorbell.

"Who is that?"

Jessica's dog runs to the door and barks.

"Shh, shh, it's okay." Jessica picks him up and walks to the door.

When she sees Danny standing there she gasps.
"Danny! What are you doing here?"

"Hey! I didn't want you to be all alone when you're feeling bad so, I made some soup and decided I'd come take care of you." He smiles.

"Aw.. that's so sweet. Thank you. Come on in.."

"Thanks! So how are you feeling? What are you sick with?"

"Huh? Oh! Oh, it's— it's just my stomach." Jessica places her hand over her abdomen.

"I threw up.. I don't want you to catch what I have, Danny."

"It's okay. I wanna take care of you, Jess."

"Danny, you're way too sweet to me.."

"I like you. I really really like you, Jess! This is the special treatment you get from now on, okay?" Danny says as he walks closer and lifts her chin with his finger.

Danny kisses her lips softly.
Jessica smiles and kisses him back. She places her hands on his back, then slides them up to his hair.

"Mm.. Danny stop, I don't want you to catch this cold!"

"Cold? I thought it was your stomach."

"Huh?"

"You threw up, right?"

"Oh yeah! It's just it um.."

"Jess?"

"Yeah?"

"Are you sick?"

"Yeah!"

"Are you lying?"

"Jess.. why did you lie to me? Did you change you mind about us? Because if you did, then I'll leave and I won't bother you ever again!

.. No that's not true, I'll be heartbroken and demand at least one date!"

"No Danny.. I really like you!  I just.." Jessica sighs.
"I don't know if this is going to work."

"Why?"

"Well I'm Delilah's teacher to start!  How can we be in a relationship?"

"Jess, honey.." Danny takes her hand.

"Plus I'm messed up, Danny.  I seriously am."

"What do you mean?"

"I just.. ugh it's so stupid!" Jessica begins crying.

"Come here, let's sit and talk."

Danny takes her to the couch and they both sit.

"What's going on?"

Jessica takes a deep breath.
".. I just.. I struggle a lot with anxiety and depression.. I have issues with loving myself and.. I don't know if I can love someone else if I can't love myself.. and I really really don't love myself, Danny."

"Aw Jess.."

"There's not one thing I like.. and I don't know if I can give my heart to you if my heart is filled with so much darkness and hatred towards myself."

"Oh honey." Danny wraps his arm around her and pulls her close.

"You're incredible and I wish you knew that.
But let me just say that it's okay if you can't love me right now.. but I promise you, if you'll let me, and you want to try us out.. I promise I accept you for just the way you are.  If there are times you don't want to go out.. then honey we won't!  Even if we're both dressed and ready to go.  You don't feel comfortable then that's okay!  I will do whatever you want, and I promise not to push you."

"Danny, I really want this.  I want to be with you.. but what if I screw it up?"

"Let's not worry about either one of us screwing up.  Let's just go into this carefree and ready to have fun.  Don't think, oh I have to do this, I have to do that.  Just be free.  Let's go on adventures and just live life!"

Jessica looks at him and leans forward to kiss his lips.  Danny places his hands on her back as she climbs on top of him.

Jessica then grabs his cheeks and in tears she says, "Why are you so good to me?  I don't deserve this, Daniel!"

"Stop it!  Yes you do!"

"Oh God.. You're amazing, Mr. Huston."

"So are you, Ms. Lange."

Jessica pulls him close and kisses him once again.
She then pulls away and asks, "Can I have some soup even though I lied to you?" She pouts.

"Sure!" Danny chuckles.

"Let me just heat it up."

"Thank you." Jessica smiles.

Danny takes the food to the kitchen and Jessica follows him.

As he gets everything out, Jessica watches with a smirk on her face.

Suddenly something came over her and she wanted him Now.

Jessica walked behind him and snaked her arms around his torso.  She kissed his back, then laid her cheek against him.

Jessica giggles as she slides her hand down to his member.
