"Jessica is going to be my wife."

"Excuse me?"

"I know I want to be with this woman forever!  Why not do it now?  Tell me, if Jessica were my wife, or fiancé.. technically that's not bad, right?  She could finish out her year?" Danny smiled.

"I-I suppose that would be alright."

"Yes!  Well you can call her in the morning and give her her job back!  Not now though, okay?  She'll be busy getting engaged!  I'm gettin' hitched!  I'll see you later!" Danny jumps up and runs out of the school.

Jessica's POV.

"Woah she's kicking again!" Delilah looked over to Jessica and giggled.

"She is!  She kicks all the time!"

"Cause she's growing bigger and bigger?"

"Mhm!" Jessica smiles.

"Do you think I kicked a lot?"

"Oh I'm sure!  With your sassy spirit?  Yes, definitely!"

Delilah smiles, then looks and down kisses her tummy.

"Jessie?"

"Yes, baby?"

"Umm.. I called you mommy a couple times.... did you notice that?" Delilah looks up with a funny cheesy smile on her face.

"I did notice that you called me mommy." Jessica smiles.

"Yeah.. I don't know where that came from, actually!"

Jessica laughs.
".. I didn't mind it you know?"

"You didn't?"

"Nope." She nods.

"It just came out.. I liked calling you mommy though.." Delilah says, gently tracing her fingers over her bump.

"Cause I love you.. I love you as much as I love my daddy.. so you're kinda like my mommy.."

"Well that makes me very happy to hear!  And you know what?"

"What?"

"I love you as much as I love Nolan and Nyla." Jessica smiles.

"You do?"

"Of course I do!  Didi, you're my girl!"

"Till the end?" Delilah smiles up to Jessica.

"Till the end, baby girl!"

Delilah hugs Jessica tightly, a big smile on her face.

"Do you think my mommy would be sad? I don't want to hurt her feelings."

"You know, I really can't speak for her, but.. I think she would like that you have someone who loves you as much as I do."

Delilah smiles.
"I think so too.. Mommy."

Tears fill Jessica's eyes, and a smile forms on her lips.

"I love you, baby. So so much."

"I love you too.. and I'm so happy you are my teacher.. eh.. were my teacher?"

"I guess you could use past tense now." Jessica sighs.
"But you know what? It's okay." She smiles softly.

"It is?"

"Mhm!" Jessica nods.
"Because.. even though I was only there for a short time.. I met you and your daddy there." Jessica tears up once again.

"And I couldn't be more blessed. We're a family, Delilah. A family! There's no greater gift than that."

Delilah smiles before laying her head down on Jessica.

A few minutes of silence pass. Suddenly, they hear the front door and get excited that their dinner is finally here.

"Finally! Daddy took so long and my tummy is so so hungry!" Delilah says.

"Mine too!" Jessica agrees.

"I bet! Daddy! Bring the good in here!" Delilah shouts.

Danny runs in full of excitement.

"Daddy! Where's the food?!"

"I have something even better!" He smiles.

"Doubt it." Delilah makes a face.

"Jessica! You are beautiful, you are smart, you are so so sweet and caring! You are funny and incredibly sexy!"

"Thanks? Honey, where's the food?"

"I want you to marry me, babe!"

"Before dinner?"

"Will you be serious while I propose?!"

"Why are you proposing?"

"Well its a long story, but I went to the school to tell Mr. Freeman where to go, and I said they couldn't fire you if we were married!" Danny smiles.

".. So you're only marrying me so I can keep my job?"

"NO! But hearing myself talk about marrying you, made me realize how much I want to marry you!
Jessica Phyllis Lange, will you marry me? Please, Please, Please!"

Jessica looks at Danny and pauses for a moment.
"Are you proposing?"

"DUH!" Delilah playfully taps her arm.

Jessica laughs then turns back to Danny.
"Danny!" She smiles.

"Do ya wanna?"

"Yeah! I want to be a wife! I want to be YOUR wife!
I WANT TO BE MRS. HUSTON!" Jessica cries and lifts her arms up to her now fiancé.

"YES!" Danny hugs her tightly, then kisses her lips.

"You're getting married! We're gonna be a REAL family with a mommy, a daddy, a Delilah, a Nolan in Heaven, and a baby!  How Cool!!!!"

"Aw!" Jessica pouts. "I love you all!"

"We love you too, mommy!" Delilah joins the hug.

Jessica kisses her head, then kisses Danny's lips.
"Baby, are you sure there's no food?" She asks in a low and shaky voice.

"I'm leaving right now! I just had to ask you marry me real fast!"

Jessica laughs. "Okay honey! Now go, go, go! Mommy's hungry." She smiles cutely.
