"Mommy, how many more days until you're my teacher again?"

"I'm not sure how many days exactly, but you have one more week of school until Christmas break, and when you go back so will I." Jessica smiles.

"YAY!" Delilah jumps before wrapping her arms around Jessica and hanging onto her.

"I love you, cause you're my favorite teacher, and you're my mommy."

"Aw!  Well I love you cause you're my favorite student, and I'm your mommy."

Delilah giggles and let's herself fall on the ground.

"Didi, be carful."

"I'm okay, momma!"

Just then Danny walks in with a very upset Nyla.

"Oh Nyla girl!  What's the matter?"

"Let me guess.  She wants more boobies?" Delilah says.

"I'm not sure, but I know daddy does." Danny smiles.

"Gross, Dad!" Delilah makes a face.

"Yeah Dad, Gross! Now give me the baby and get out of here."

Danny chuckles and hands her over.

"Momma and Daddy!"

"Yeah, Princess?" Danny smiles.

"Don't forget I have rehearsal for the Christmas play today!"

"I remember, baby." Danny says.

"Are you guys gonna come early and watch me?"

"I will."

"Not mommy or Nyla?" Delilah's little face went sad.

"Oh I'm sorry, would it be disappointing if it were just me?"

"Yep."

Jessica chuckles.
"I can go too."

"No Jess. I know it's hard for you.."

"It's okay.. I wanna go for Didi."

"YAY! Thank you, Mommy!" Delilah hugs Jessica tightly.

"You're welcome, sweet girl."

Rehearsal.

Danny and Jessica sat in the back. Jessica held Nyla on her chest as she slept peacefully.

As the music started to play Jessica became emotional.

Danny saw her and wrapped his arm around her shoulders.

Jessica smiles very softly. "I'm okay.... Christmas time is just hard.. and the music.. this music takes me right back to the day it happened." Jessica chokes up.

"I can't imagine how hard it must me.."

Jessica takes a deep breath smiles softly up to Danny.

"He's always with you."

"Yes he is. I feel him all the time. Especially when I'm holding this little one." Jessica looks down to the baby.

Nyla puckers her little lips and jerks slightly.

"I think she's dreamin'." Danny chuckles.

Jessica giggles. "I think so. Are you dreaming about big brother, pretty girl?" Jessica baby talks. "What's he doin?" She whispers.

Danny reaches over and kisses Nyla. Nyla then opened her little eyes and began crying.

"Aw she does not appreciate being woken up, daddy!"

"Shit, I'm so sorry!"

"You're in the church, Daniel!"

"Oops! Sorry! I'm sorry, God! Here, I'll take her out."

"It's fine, I'm just gonna walk around with her for a bit outside. You stay with Didi."

"Okay. Here's her blanket."

"Thanks. Come on, crabby butt."

Jessica walked out to the courtyard and walked back and forth while lightly bouncing the baby.

"You're all better now, huh Nyla Butt?"

Jessica looks to the baby and she looked back to her with a grumpy face.

"Hey it wasn't me! Daddy woke you up!"

Nyla then smiles. Not just a tiny smirk, but a big beautiful toothless smile.

"Oh my!" Jessica was quickly brought to tears.

"Who are you smiling at? Who do you see, momma?"

Nyla coos while keeping her smile. Her eyes sparkled like stars in the sky.

"Oh my gosh!" Jessica cries.
"He's here, I know he's here! You see brother, don't you? That's Nolan, Nyla! He's your big brother, and he loves you so so much! I know he's the one you're smiling at.. he put a smile on mama's face constantly!"

Jessica then giggled at her baby's beautiful expressions, and looked up to the sky.

"We love you, Nolan."

"Mommy!"

"Delilah! Honey, I'm sorry I had to leave early, but oh my goodness were you amazing! Such the little actress!"

Delilah giggles. "Thank you, mommy! Is Nyla better?"

"Oh she's so much better! You guys, Nyla smiled! Not her usual little smirk she gives when she has gas, but a big beautiful smile!"

"Aw we missed it!" Danny pouts.

"Danny, I know she was looking up and smiling at Nolan. I know she was!"

"Of course she was! Didi used to do that and I knew for a fact it was Grace she saw."

"I saw a ghost?!" Delilah shouts with wide eyes.

Jessica laughs and wipes her tears.
"It's a blessing to see them, honey."

"I wish I saw Nolan."

"Me too, baby.."

"But this shows he's always with us! I told you he was with you, momma! Remember?"

"Yes! You sure did, sweet girl."

"Mommy?"

"Yes?"

"Can we go? It's FREEZING out here!"

"Sure." Jessica laughs. "Let's go home guys."
