"And then he said that Grace is happy that Delilah has me! Oh my goodness Danny, it was the most amazing dream I have ever had!"

"Aw baby, that's a beautiful dream!"

"I know!  Oh and before I woke up he said.. he said that letting go of the house is good. He said to move on and that he'd follow me wherever we go.. I'm ready to move, Danny! Let's find a home of our own." Jessica grabs his hand tightly.

Danny smiles and kisses her lips softly.
"I'm so happy you said that. Actually, I uh.. I made a phone call today, and I have a couple houses we can go look at tomorrow."

"Really?!" Jessica's already big smile grew.

"Really, really!" Danny chuckles.

"YAY! Oh gosh, I'm so ready!"

The next day.

"I love this house! It's huge! Can this be my room since I'm the oldest?" Delilah asks.  She was just full of excitement.

"This would be mine and momma's!" Danny says.

"Ohhh! Fine! I'll go find another room!" Delilah takes off.

Jessica giggles and turns to Danny.
"What are you thinking?" She asks.

"I'm thinking this might be the one."

"Me too! It's perfect! The yard is gorgeous! It's so big! I can have a beautiful garden, and the girls can play around! We could get a pool!  Socks will love it too!"

"Yeah.. let's do it." Danny smiles softly as he holds her waist and pulls her closer to him.

Jessica smiles just before she kisses his lips.

August 24th.
34 weeks pregnant.

"Who was that on the phone, baby?" Danny asks as Jessica sets the phone down.

"The principal."

"Oh gosh, what did Delilah do?"

"Nothing!  But, Ms. Parker was in an accident so they asked me to sub until she returns."

"Oh my gosh, Didi is gonna freak!"

"I'm not gonna tell her.  Let's surprise her!
You take her to school on Monday, and I'll be there already!" Jessica smiles.

"She'll flip!" Danny laughs.

"I'm so excited!"

Monday morning.

Since Jessica left the house so early, Danny cooked breakfast and brought Delilah to school alone.
Delilah was upset about not being able to see Jessica before school. So upset that she couldn't even walk into the school!
She insisted Danny carry her in as she whined.

"I didn't even get to see my mommy this morning!" Delilah rubs her eyes and cries.

"Oh baby girl, I'm sorry.  But she'll be here to pick you up after school."

"Can she come visit me during lunch?  I nee-EEEED HERRRRR!" She sobs.

"No, no, no.  Shh, stop crying.  You're fine!
You're a big girl, and you'll see mommy later.
There's no reason to cry."

"But.. *Sniffles* I need her to help me feel better.  I need to hug her and I need her to tell me it's okay."

"Delilah?" Jessica smiles.

"Mommy!" Delilah said in the sweetest little voice.
She then kicked her legs to get down, and ran to her her mother.

"Mommy! Thank God you're here! I needed a hug!"

"Oh sweet baby, I'm here! I'm sorry I didn't get to help Daddy get you ready this morning, but I had to-"

"He burned my toast!" Delilah frowns.

"Oh no!"

"I did not burn it. Delilah, don't over react."

Jessica laughs and says, "I'm sure Daddy did well!
He did it for five years before I came along!"

"Thank you!" Danny says.

"Mommy—"

"Ms. Jessica today, little lady."

"What?"

"Ms. Jessica!"

"Wait!  Are you my substitute today?! Are you Miss Jessie today?!"

"I am!" Jessica laughs.

"WOO! Where's Ms. Parker? Did she die?!" Delilah smiles big.

"Stop! No, she did not!" Jessica says.
"Don't say that!" She chuckles.

"Guys!" Delilah shouts, turning to her class.

"Didi, what are you doing?" Danny asks.

"I'm talking to people!
GUYS! This is Miss Jessica from kindergarten, and this is my baby sister, and she's my mommy now! So only I can call her mommy! Not you guys! She's not your mommy! Only mine, Nolan's and Nyla's!"

Jessica smiles and kisses Delilah's cheek.
"This is gonna be fun, huh, Didi?"

"Yep!  Just like old times, Miss Jessie." Delilah smiles and playfully nudges Jessica making her laugh.

Two weeks later.

Today Danny is with Delilah having a daddy daughter day, and Jessica is spending the day with her mother.

"So how are you doing, Jessie?" Dorothy asks.

"I'm pretty exhausted!" Jessica chuckles.
"Baby girl is almost here and I'm working now, and we're moving next weekend! It's just.. it's crazy!" Jessica chuckles with exhaustion.

"Well we're all helping y'all move, don't even stress about that! It'll all work out."

"I know.. It's just a lot that has to get done before she comes.. plus.." Jessica looks down and nods her head as she tries holding her tears in.

"Nolan's Birthday is coming up.  The day before my due date!  I'm going to be an emotional wreck, like always!  But now I have all these extra emotions and.. it's just so much harder now!" She cries.

"Sweetie, I don't know what you're going through, but I just want you to know that we're here for you!
Whatever you and Danny need, we're here."

"Thank you, mom.  We really appreciate it."

"Of course!  Wouldn't it be kinda cool if she was born on her big brother's birthday?"

"Haha!  It would..
  Oh gosh, seeing her is going to bring back so many memories of him.  It's gonna be so hard."

"Probably.  But he sent you this precious little baby.
Holding her is holding his gift to you.
He's sending her down full of kisses!  Kiss her and you're kissing the both of them."

"Oh gosh, mom!" Jessica covers her face and cries.
"Right in the middle of Panera?!"

"I'm sorry!" Dorothy giggles.

"It's okay.  Let it out, honey.  I know it's hard.. but it's also such a happy moment.  Enjoy it."

"I am.. I just miss him so much." Jessica says wiping her tears. "My precious baby boy!"
