"911 what is your emergency?"

"My daughter old isn't breathing!  She-she's two months old.  My wife— She's doing cpr right now, but we need somebody! Please please send someone NOW!"

While Danny spoke to the woman he quickly got dressed. He then ran up to grab something for Jessica to wear when the paramedics arrived.

"Please baby.. please please wake up! Mommy's here, Nyla!" Jessica sobs.

"Nolan, don't take your sister, I need her.  Please!"

Just then Jessica swore she saw her hand move.

"She's moving! Come on, Nyla! Open your eyes and look at mommy!"

Soon the paramedics arrived.

Jessica threw on her clothes and went with Nyla.

"I'm gonna call my sister and ask her to come stay with Delilah.  I don't want you over there by yourself."

"Okay."

"I love you." Danny looks into Jessica's eyes.  She looked completely broken.

"Love you too."

On the way to the hospital Jessica prayed and prayed her heart out.

When they arrived Nyla was quickly taken to the back.  Jessica felt numb.  She couldn't believe this was happening on the third anniversary of her baby boy leaving this earth.

"I can't.  I can't do this again.  I'm not strong, please God.  Please don't take my baby.  I need her, please.  I'll do anything.  I'll change my ways.. if you feel I should be a better person, I will become a better person!  Please just don't take my baby!"

Danny arrived shortly after.  When he spotted Jessica she was walking back and forth as she prayed.

Danny ran to her.
"Jess!"

Jessica looks at him and sobs before wrapping her arms around him.

"Did they say anything?" Danny asks fearing the worst.

"They haven't told me anything.
  Danny, I don't know what happened.  I don't know what I did!  I don't know how I did this again!  I don't deserve to be a mother.  I don't deserve her, Nolan, Delilah or you."

"Stop it, Jessica!  You did nothing wrong!"

"Oh shut up!  I left her there alone while I had sex!"

"She was asleep!  What were we supposed to do? Watch her constantly?"

"I should have. Why didn't I!" Jessica shouts.

Danny wraps his arms around her.

"I can't do it again. Please God. I'll go! Just don't take my baby.."

"Stop Jessie. Both of you will be fine.  No one is going anywhere!"

"I hate myself.  I should have been with her."

Danny took a deep breath in and stayed silent.
  He just held her.  He knew that's what she needed right now.

After a long wait, a doctor finally stepped out to the waiting room.

"Jessica Lange?"

"Yes? Where's my baby? Is she okay?" Jessica cries.

"Ms. Lange, your baby is very very lucky you checked on her."

"Is she okay?"

"She's okay!"

"Oh my gosh!  What happened?"

"SIDS?" Danny asks.

"Yes. If you wouldn't have acted fast then you would have lost her.  I know most parents blame themselves in situations like this, but please don't. There is no way for anyone to know this is coming. No one can prevent it.  These things happen more than you'd expect."

"Wow.." Danny sighs.

"Now, we will be running tests just to make sure there is no damage, but she looks good!  You saved your little girl's life today, Ms. Lange. You're a hero.  You both can come back whenever you're ready."

"Thank you." Jessica cries softly.

Danny smiles through his teary eyes. "You are a hero, Jess."

"Stop." Jessica rubs her head.
She then squats down and cries into her hands. "Thank you. Thank you, God. Thank you, thank you, thank you.."

Danny kneels down beside her and places his hand on her back.

"My baby girl.  She felt so lifeless, Danny."

"You saved her."

Jessica nods her head and let's out a sob.
"I need to hold her."

"Let's go see our girl."

Danny helps Jessica up, and they make their way back to Nyla.

Entering the room Danny and Jessica see their little girl hooked up to all kinds of monitors.

"Aw, look at her." Jessica cries softly.
She then walks over and places her hand on her tiny arm.

"Baby girl, it's okay.  Mommy's here.. and I love you.  I love you, I love you." Jessica cries softly as she places kisses on her daughter.

"They say I'm the hero, but that's all you, pretty girl.  Look at you hooked up to all this.  You fought your way back, huh?  You're not slipping away that easily.  Right?"

The baby then smiles softly in her sleep.
"You're smiling!" Jessica says as a smile forms on her face as well.

".. I love you baby girl."
