Monday.

Jessica sat at the large desk beside Delilah and a few other students.

"Psst.." Delilah tries getting Jessica's attention.

"PSSSSST!"

Jessica turns to Delilah and smiles softly.
"Yes?"

"How's the-"

"Delilah."

"What?  I was going to ask, how's your tummy?"

"It's good.. thanks for asking." Jessica gives her a look to stop talking.

"Is it um.. kicking?"

"Delilah!  If you continue talking, I will move your clip to red."

"What?!"

"Stop. Talking."

"Why?"

"No cookies." Jessica whispers.

"No cookies?  Oh right!  Sorry!"

Jessica sighs and sits back in her seat.
Delilah has asked her how she felt multiple times today, which is very sweet, but she needed her to keep her mouth shut.

Lunch.

"Miss Jessie, here!  Have my fruit!"

"I'm okay, sweetie, thank you though!
You eat, okay?"

"Okay.. do you want some of my sandwich?  I'm good at sharing." Delilah smiles.

"Aw you are too sweet!  I have lunch though, cutie pie.  Thank you."

"You're welcome!  Eat extra food, okay?"

"I will." Jessica smiles.

After school Delilah stayed in the room with Jessica since Danny was running late.

"Didi.."

"Yes?  Oh now that we're alone I can talk to my baby!  Can I feel your tummy?"

"Of course, but someone may come in so really quick, okay?" Jessica says taking her hand and placing it on her bump.

"Okay!  Hi baby!  It's sissy!"

Jessica smiles and plays with her hair.

"Didi.. we have to talk."

"Is it twins?!" Delilah widens her eyes.

"No!" Jessica laughs.
"Look baby, I'm so so happy you're excited for your brother or sister, and I appreciate you asking how I'm doing. But.. we have to act exactly the way we acted before.  I'm telling the school after your daddy comes to pick you up, and I'll be telling the kids after we find out what the baby is."

"You are?!" Delilah smiles.

"Yes but remember you have to pretend you didn't know!  These kids cannot know that this baby is your sibling."

"Just your baby?"

"Just my baby.  I know it's hard, and a lot to ask but, you're a big girl and I know you're I can do it, right?"

"Yeah, I can do it!"

Jessica smiles and kisses her cheek.
"I love you."

"I love you toooooo!"

"You're so cute!"

"Thanks!"

Jessica giggles just before she feels the baby kick.
"Oh my gosh Didi, feel here!"

"Oh my goodness!  My baby is so strong!"

"I know!  They're extra active now that you're talking."

"Cause the baby knows sissy's talking!"

"Yep!  You're already such a great big sister, Delilah."

"Thank you!"

"Oh course." She smiles sweetly.

Jessica then sees Danny walking up to the class room. "Look, there's your daddy."

"DADDY!"

"DIDI!"

"You're late!" She places her hands on her hips and frowns.

"I know, I'm so sorry!"

"It's okay.  You'll take me to lunch and we'll be even."

"Sounds good, princess." Danny chuckles.
He then turn to Jessica and smiles as he walks up to her.

"How are you, Ms. Lange?"

"I'm doing well, Mr. Huston!"

"How's the little Lange/Huston?"

"Kicking!" Delilah smiles up to her father.

"Yep!  Lots and lots of movement today!" Jessica rubs her belly.

"Aww!  That's so cool!
Now, just a little kiss for Baby!" Danny grabs her bump and kisses it.

"And a little kiss for Mommy." He smiles and kisses Jessica's lips.

"Oh this is disgusting." Delilah says making a face.

Jessica pulls away and laughs.

"Who asked you, midget?" Danny looks down to his daughter.

Delilah smiles and says, "I'm hungry!"

"Okay, we're going.  You wanna meet us somewhere, Jess?"

"No y'all go and I'll talk to you later.  I don't know how long this is going to take."

"Alright.  Well good luck."

"Thanks.  Oh before you go, I have to tell you what a sweetheart Didi was today!  She had a few moments where she might have almost slipped, but majority of the time she was asking how I was feeling.  If I wanted some of her food!  She's already a super amazing big sister."

"Aw!  Good girl, Delilah!"

"Thank you, daddy!  I'm really sweet!" She smiles.

"Haha! You sure are!"

"So, Mr. Freeman.  I wanted to speak with you today because I wanted to let you know that I am pregnant."

Jessica decided to just go right out and tell him she was pregnant. If she danced around the subject, she thought it would seem suspicious.

"Oh you're pregnant?  Congratulations!"

"Thank you!  My boyfriend um.." Jessica looks around the room and panics when she realizes she has yet to name her fake boyfriend.

"His name issss.. Kyle Spencer."

"Oh!  Well congratulations to you both!  I'd love to meet him some day, Ms. Lange!"

"Haha.. Yeah!  Maybe one day!" Jessica says in a nervous tone.

An hour later.

Jessica drove home and took a nice warm bath.
As she soaked her body, she had Danny on speakerphone to tell him how her little meeting went.

"Kyle Spencer?  He sounds like a douche!"

"I know!  I thought the same thing, but that was the first name that popped into my head."

"You're not allowed to name our child." Danny chuckles.

Jessica laughs and says, "Shut up!"

"I'm just playing.. but is it weird that I hate this Kyle guy, and he doesn't even exist. I'M Kyle!"

"Yes, honey. There's no need to be jealous of yourself."

Danny laughs.
".. Well I'll let you enjoy your bath, baby.. have fun looking at yourself naked.  I know I have a ball every time I do that!"

"Oh my gosh, you are so weird!"

"Hey, it's the truth!" He laughs.

Tuesday afternoon.

"I'm so excited!" Delilah claps her hands as they sit, waiting for the doctor.

"Me too!  What do you think it is?" Danny asks.

"A girl!  You?"

"I think it's a boy.  Mommy?" Danny asks with a smile.

"I hope it's a girl.  I will love a little boy so so much but.." Jessica's eyes tear up.

"I just.. I can't—"

"I understand.  Team girl!" He smiles.

"Yeah!" Jessica chuckles and wipes her tears.

A few minutes later, the doctor walked in and they began the scan.

"Look at the baby!  This is so cool!  It's so little and so cute!" Delilah smiles.

"I know!  Wow, look at that.. so so perfect." Jessica says in a low voice.

"Can you tell what the gender is?" Danny asks.

"I can!  Do you guys want to know!"

"Of course we want to know!" Delilah shouts with excitement.

Everyone chuckles.

"Okay!  Well, big sister.. Say hello to your.. Baby Sister!"

"It's a girl?!" Jessica smiles.

"It's a girl!"

"Ahhhhh!  I'm having a baby sister!" Delilah screams with excitement.

"Another perfect little Princess.. this is unreal." Danny smiles.

"Aw baby, you're tearing up!  Come here." Jessica holds her arm out.

"I love you, Jessica.  I love you so much."

"I love you too.  Oh my gosh, I'm so happy!" Jessica said with tear rolling down her cheeks as she hugs Danny.

Never did Jessica see herself having another baby after Nolan. But yet here she is, and she's so so happy.

After printing out some pictures, Danny, Jessica and Delilah walked up to the front desk. Jessica couldn't stop staring at the ultrasound pictures of her baby girl. She was in shock, but couldn't wait to start shopping for her daughter.

"Jessica?!" She was quickly ripped away from her bliss.

"Huh? Oh Kathy!" Her eyes widen.
"Uh.. Hi!"

Kathy is the first grade teacher at her school.

Jessica stood there, her belly showing through her clothes. She wasn't hiding it at the moment.
Jessica then noticed Kathy turn to Danny and Delilah.

"Kathy please! I can explain!" Jessica says.

"It was true!"

"Please don't say anything! Let me speak to you! Please!"
