Chapter 50: It's only begun (Final Chapter)

So do y'all remember a while back when we had that RED or BLUE poll. This is the BLUE ending.

Author's POV:

Jungkook is currently sitting upright in his hospital bed struggling to eat his red jello. He's not allowed to eat solids since he's still recovering the surgery, and he didn't like the hospital soup they served so this was his only other alternative. The problem is the jello is extremely hard to eat with one hand. He needed his other one to hold the cup still while he dug into it with his spoon, but Namjoon made it clear to the doctors and nurses that no was to uncuff him.

He even left a guard posted at his door to make sure they wouldn't. There was no way Jungkook was gonna ask for help and be spoon fed. That would be so demeaning.  He continued on trying to scoop up a spoonful, but the cup kept jutting around. Eventually there was a knock on the door and one of his nurses came in.

"Are you done with your food?" She asked as she walked over to collect his food tray. Jungkook slammed the cup down on the tray aggressively making the nurse flinch and little jello chunks fly out.

"Fuck it." He pushed the cart away. He was already on edge. He was supposed to be long gone with Jimin by his side but instead he was stabbed, caught, and facing jail time. Now he couldn't even eat his fucking jello. He was so frustrated he could scream.

"Also you have a visitor." The nurse said as she cleaned up the remains of the dessert. Jungkook heard a clicking sound of heels approaching. Soon he was able to see a woman with long dark hair and a black pants suit outside of his door. She spoke to the guard and he nodded and walked away as if she had dismissed him. Then she stood were Jungkook could see her completely.

"Noona? I didn't know you were coming." Jungkook says in complete shock. "I've never been happier to see you." The woman waited for the nurse to leave before she walked in.

"Hey Kook. How have you been?" She chuckled looking at the cuffs. Jungkook rolled his eyes.

"How do you think?" The younger sassed.

"Tell me little cousin. How does one, such as yourself, dig themselves into a hole this deep?" She cocked her brow sarcastically. Jungkook only clenched his jaw. "Over your teacher? Really? He's not even that cute?"

"Hey! Don't talk about him." Jungkook pouted.

"Oh my fucking gosh Kook. Don't tell me you're in love."

"Watch it Jisoo! What do you know anyway?"

"I know that my former colleague came to me asking for information on the Jeons. He wouldn't give me all of the details, so I had to find out for myself. I was afraid that my cover was blown, but that wasn't the case at all. He wasn't investigating me. He was after you and uncle Junsuk. Why the hell can't you both keep it in your pants? Do you know how difficult it is to be related to you two and still keep my job at the KCIA?"

"You gave him our information?"

"No dumbass, I gave him the false file."

"Well you're the expert. How do I get out of this?"

"You can't."

"What do you mean I can't ?"

"I mean you can't. You can't talk your way out of this one. Not right now. There's evidence. There are witnesses. Everything and everybody is pointing to you. The smart thing to do right now is to confess."

"I didn't do anything wrong. Jimin's mine. He's my husband now, and they don't have proof of anything."

"Kook. I need you to listen to me. You're still young and naive about certain things and how this all works. I can get you out of this, and if you want that teacher then I can help with that too, but It'll take time. Right now you have to listen to me and do exactly as I say. Can you do that?"

"What do I need to do?"

——

It had been a couple of hours since Jimin collapsed and Taehyung had been freaking out ever since. He was now limping down the hallway in his hospital gown going room to room searching for Jimin. He was still in a lot of pain, but he was too worried about Jimin to worry about himself. Eventually he found him in a room five doors down from his. He was awake now talking to a doctor. Their attention shifted towards the door when Taehyung entered.

"Sir you cannot be up right now." The doctor rushed over to Tae to help him back to his room.

"I'm fine. Jimin are you okay?" He said as he continued to push his way into the room.

"Sir this is really dangerous for you. You need to go back-"

"He's my husband! I'm not going back until I make sure he's ok." There was a moment of silence as Taehyung and the doctor stared intensely at each other. After some time the doctor let out a sigh of defeat.

"Ok fine, but please have a seat and try not to move so much. I'll leave you two to talk. Please hit the button if you need anything." He said motioning to the button on the side of the bed. The two nodded as the doctor exited the room. Taehyung followed the doctors orders and took the seat next to Jimin's bed.

"So? Are you ok?" Taehyung inquired.

"I will be." Jimin said with and unreadable expression.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Taehyung frowned in confusion.

"You know Jungkook forced me to marry him right?" Jimin snickered.

"What?" His frown deepened at Jimin's random yet alarming statement. He was even more alarmed by unusual behavior towards the matter. A person does not typically laugh when ever they are forced to do something or when they talk about how they were forced to do something.

"Yeah. I know. Luckily the cops arrested him after the ceremony and I was able to grab the marriage license and rip it to shreds before it was sent out." Jimin was now laughing hysterically although Tae couldn't tell if he was laughing or crying. "I also grabbed the divorce papers he made us sign."

"What did you do with those?" Tae asked not really knowing how to respond.

"Nothing yet. That's part of the reason why I came here. To figure out what to do with them." Jimin's laughter died down and his expressions settled into a cute but sad pout. "After I fainted, I got over the initial shock of what you said and I really thought about it."

    "And?" Tae gulp nervously.

"Jungkook was right. I don't think we loved each other in the way that we thought we did."

"What are you talking about?" Tae asked utterly confused as to what Jungkook had to do with this.

"I think we mistook familiarity for love. Don't get me wrong. We do love each other. We're just not in love with each other. Am I right?" Taehyung shook his head.

"No, I was in love with you Jimin that's why I married you."

"Then why did you cheat on me?! I gave you my everything! I did everything I could to make this work! I did everything to make us work!" Jimin broke out into the laughing-crying fit again.

"Jimin I'm sorry. It was stupid. I wish I could take it back, but I can't." Taehyung said with a face full of regret.

"The craziest thing about this was that I knew. I knew the whole time. I just convinced myself to look the other way." He spoke calmly again.

    "Jimin-"

"It's fine Tae. I just miss the old us. Back when were V & Ji, best friends for life. That all changed when we started dating. We changed." The sad pout returned.

"So what? Do you want to go back to that? Do you want us to just be best friends again?" Taehyung asked a little disappointed. He didn't want their marriage to end over this one stupid mistake.

"Can we? After everything that we've gone through and put each other through?" Jimin looked hopeful. The truth was that he wasn't in love with Taehyung anymore. He doesn't know if he ever was. He just knows that he doesn't want to lose him. Not now.

"Granted it won't be the same, but we can give it a try if that's what you really want." He didn't want to lose him either, but more than anything, he wants Jimin to be happy. If Jimin only wanted his friendship then he'd have to suck it up and respect his wishes.

"That's what I want. I want a divorce too." He smiled.

"Ok Jimin. Then we'll send in the papers."

"So you're not even going to try and stop me?" Jimin scoffed playfully. Taehyung looked at him in disbelief since he didn't find any of this funny.

"Jimin seriously. What did the doctor say? You're acting really weird, and you only get like this when you're distraught." He exclaimed as he'd had enough of the shorter's erratic behavior. Jimin's playful demeanor disappeared as he took a deep breath. His true feelings reached the surface and the atmosphere got even more serious. He looked so broken and Taehyung hated it.

    "I'm pregnant."

"Wha- how did yo- what?! How did this happen?" He stubbled over his words as he freaked out. It was just one thing after another. He felt like his he would explode.

"That's a talk you'll have to have with your parents." Jimin tried to make a joke again as Taehyung stood up.

"Jimin stop it. Seriously." He gave him an unwavering stare as he paced throughout the room unable to stay seated anymore. "I always used condoms because we discussed that we weren't ready for that. Maybe one broke. Maybe it was that time in the shower. Maybe it broke in the shower." He tried relaying answers to this puzzling information not seeing how this could be possible when he and Jimin were very careful.

    "It didn't break." Jimin deadpanned.

"Then how else Jimin? That is the only thing that make sense." Taehyung ran his fingers through his hair gripping it tightly. He was going crazy. He had always wanted to be a dad but not now. Not while he and Jimin were in the place they're in. Not while all of this drama is happening. His thoughts came to a halt at what Jimin said next.

"The kid didn't use condoms." He spoke just above a whisper but loud enough for the latter to hear.

"What? What are you talking about?" He walked over to the bed to hear him better.

"Jungkook. He didn't use condoms." The taller froze as his face lost all color and expression.

"What the hell are you trying to say to me Jimin?" Tears began to escape the smaller's eyes and flood his face. "Jimin? What the hell are you saying?!" The latter flinched as Taehyung shouted. He was seething now that he had gotten over the initial shock.

"I'm saying it's his...He did this to me." Taehyung calmed down seeing Jimin breakdown.

"Did he-  did he-?" He didn't want to say it. Hell, he didn't want it to be true.

"Yes Taehyung. He did. Multiple times, and he would've done it again a couple of days ago if it weren't for Yoongi."

"I'll kill him." Tae balled his fist. He really wanted to hit something, but he refrained from it not wanting to scare Jimin even more.

"I thought he might be dead already, but the detective working on my case told me they were able to save him. What am I supposed to do Tae? I'm pregnant with my attacker's baby. If he finds out, he'll-" He began hyperventilating and Taehyung pulled him into a hug to calm him down.

"No no no Jimin. He won't find out. Maybe I can help. I can just say it's mine and then you won't have to deal with him." Jimin pulled away and looked back up at him.

"No Tae. I can't let you do that. It's not yours. It's not your responsibility." He shook his head.

"But it could be Jimin. Let's not get divorced."

"Tae-" The latter cut him off while resting his hands on Jimin's shoulders.

"Hear me out. That fucking brat is going to jail right? So he won't know. Let's not get a divorce. Let's have this baby and be the family we always wanted to be. I promise to treat this baby like my own. I'll care for it and you."

"But-"

"Please Jimin. I can't let you do this alone."

"Tae, I'm just not sure if that's what I want anymore. Things have drastically changed. Also I don't want to pull you into this mess. It has nothing to do with you."

"I'm your husband Jimin. I was kidnapped, I was beaten, and now, I'm in this fucking hospital suffering from internal bleeding. How can you say that it has nothing to do with me?"

"I didn't mean it like that. I just-"

"Look Jimin. You don't have many options. You're not going to be able to support yourself and a baby on your own. I, however, can. I'm just trying to help you. I was such a shitty husband and an even shittier friend. Just let me make it up to you."

"But I don't even know if I want to have this baby."

"Of course you're having the baby Jimin. You wouldn't have the heart to kill it off." Jimin knew Tae was right about everything. He could never kill the innocent child growing inside of him. He also couldn't afford to take care of it on his own. He could live with his parents, but they already have Jihyun and his college bills to think about. He could never trouble them more by asking them to take him and his baby in as well. Taehyung was his only other option.

"Ok." Jimin gave in. He figured that it wouldn't be horrible to raise a baby with Taehyung. Even if he did fall out of love with the man, he knew he'd be a great father to his unborn child. He's seen him interact with kids before. Mainly his little cousins. He always treated those children with the upmost care therefore he shall do the same with his. Besides, anyone is better than Jungkook. At least Taehyung is not a stranger.

"Ok?" He asked looking for an explanation.

"Ok. I'll have the baby with you."

"Yes!" Tae pulled him back into a tight hug excitedly. "I promise you won't regret this baby."

——

~(5 months later)~

Jin was sitting on the couch reading a local magazine. It was really boring, but he often tried to find ways to kill time until Yungjin and Junsuk would come home. The entire house was clean, and he'd just finished dinner. He still had time before he'd have to go get Yungjin from school.

Originally Jin wasn't allowed to leave due to his defiant behavior and the warrant out for his arrest, but four months ago when Jungkook was convicted, all of the charges against Jin mysteriously dropped. He was a free man legally, but Junsuk decided to keep him locked away an extra two months after that. It wasn't until he was convinced that Jin would follow orders that he gave him a bit more freedom.

Jin was allowed to go out once a week to the grocery store and once a day to pick up Yungjin from school. He had to be escorted by guard of course. Junsuk wasn't stupid. Jin literally couldn't leave without the guard since the guard was the only one, besides Junsuk, who knew the code that opens the door. Jin didn't mind though. He was just happy that he finally got to leave. The fresh air was like a little escape from hell. When he was gone, he could pretend his life was normal, but he'd always have to return.

Right now as he looked through the magazine, he came across a picture of a woman in a wedding gown. His mood instantly dropped. The ad reminded him of his and Junsuk's wedding which was right around the corner. At times it seemed as if he was the only one in the household dreading it, and it's because he was. Junsuk was excited for obvious reasons and so was Yungjin.

Junsuk had filled Yungjin's head up with lies about how his parents were extremely in love and how they were going to get married and live happily ever after just like the characters in fairytales. It annoyed Jin to no end. The whole thing just reminded Jin of how Junsuk lied and manipulated him when he was younger. On the bright side, it got Yungjin talking to him again. The young boy was so excited that his appas were marrying each other. Especially after Junsuk promised him a special part in the wedding as the ring bearer.

Jin ripped the page out and tore it to shreds. He hated the situation he was in. He hated Junsuk, but what could he do? There's no way out. He rested his elbows on his knees and his face in the palms of his hands as salty tears stained his cheeks. This was also part of his daily routine. He often cried during the day when no one else was home. He wasn't allowed to when they were, so he had to get it all out before they returned.

He suddenly jumped at the sound of sirens. Curiosity got the best of him and he peeked outside the window. He saw six police cars all heading in his direction. He wondered if something happened with the neighbors to cause this big scene. It never once crossed his mind that they were coming for him. He had let go of those kind of thoughts a long time ago. Any thought that could possibly get his hopes up was immediately shut down.

The fear of disappointment weighed heavily in that decision. He felt that amount of guilt, anxiousness, and desperation that came along with hope would eat him alive. He needed to stay strong. Strong for his son and strong for himself. This was his life now there's no use in hoping for a better one. The little moments of freedom were all the happiness he needed. With all that being said, he was in utter shock when the cars pulled into the driveway. Although his doubt still lingered.

The first person to get out of their car was the handsome detective who arrested and interrogated him. He watched as all of the police drew their guns and surrounded the house. Then there was a knock on the door.

"Seoul Police Agency, open up!" The thud of the knocks echoed throughout the large house. Jin didn't know what to do. He was currently the only one there. The maids were fired after Jin arrived since Junsuk didn't trust that they'd keep there mouths shut about his wife 'disappearing' and Jin being held captive. This left the three of them being the only ones that lived there.

"I-I can't!" He replied with a shaky voice. He still couldn't believe this was happening.

"Seokjin? Is that you?" Jin could tell that it was the detective.

    "Y-Yes."

"It's okay. We're here to help. Just open the door." He spoke softly as if he was coaxing a child.

"I can't!" Jin tried as he leaned his head on the door in defeat.

"Yes you can. We are going to take Jeon Junsuk into custody. He can't harm you anymore. You're safe now." The last part was more of a whisper. Jin could tell he was pressed up against the door as well.

"No, I literally can't. There is a coded lock on the door that prevents me from opening it. I can't get out nor let anyone in."

"Okay don't worry. We'll get you out." Jin waited a few minutes. There was a lot of chatter going on. He assumed that they were formulating a plan. Soon he heard the detective shout. "Stand back! I'm coming in!" He quickly moved away just before the detective burst through the entrance breaking the door.

Jin stood with his mouth agape as the officers scurried in checking every inch of the place. He was eventually pulled out by Namjoon and directed to an ambulance. They checked his body for injuries while giving Namjoon an ice pack for his shoulder.

"It's all clear. He was the only one inside." One of the officers informed Namjoon and he turned to Jin.

    "Jin, where is Junsuk?"

"He's at his law firm." Namjoon then gave the officer a look and he nodded knowingly. "When can I leave? I need to go pick up my son."

"You can't leave yet. We need to ask you some questions."

"I need to get my son." Jin said firmly. He might be safe now, but Jeon Junsuk was still out there along with his son. What if Junsuk finds out about the police, takes his son, and makes a run for it. He needed to get him first before Junsuk does.

"Ok. Get your things and I'll take you." Jin quickly grabbed his things and followed the detective to his car. Luckily Yungjin was still there when they made it. Namjoon drove them both back to the station. There Jin and his son were placed in the same room Jin was interrogated in months ago.

"Appa, what's going on? Why are we here? Pa might get upset if we're late for dinner." 'Pa' is what Yungjin decided to call Junsuk. Before Jin could answer, Namjoon but in.

"Are you sure you want him to be hear during the questioning?"

"Yes. It's time he learns the truth."

"Truth about what?" Yungjin frowned in confusion.

"The truth about your other Appa. He isn't the nice man you think he is."

——

"Mr. Jeon, you have visitor." Jungkook looked up from his book and saw his nurse standing in the door way. He grunted as he got up and followed her to the visitation room. There, he saw his cousin who he hasn't seen for months.

"Noona? Where the fuck have you been? You haven't been answering my calls." He sat in front of her.

"I'm sorry Kook. I've been busy trying to figure out more ways to lessen your sentence. I can see that you took the first few steps since the cops arrested uncle Junsuk." She smirked.

"Yeah. I told them everything they needed to know just like you said."

"Do they think you're on their side since you've been helping them?"

"Yes and no. Everyone else is starting to let their guard down, but that detective is hard to fool." He rolled his eyes in annoyance.

"Well it should get better now that you've helped him to find Jin. Last time we talked I could tell he was so head-over-heels for him. He even got behind on other cases trying to find him. Almost lost his job."

"So Jin is his weakness. That's good to know. Well then he should be in a better mood now, and I should be getting out of here soon."

"Don't rush it Kook. These things take time. If they start to suspect that you want to leave instead of get help, they'll keep you longer." She warned.

"I don't need their fucking help. I'm in a crazy house for crazy people and I'm not crazy!"

"Shh~ keep it down." She scolded. "Would you rather be in prison because I can arrange that?" She threatened. It always irks her when her younger cousin acts like a spoiled brat.

"No I want to be with Jimin." He crossed his arms pouting like a four-year-old.

"That's not happening right now so until it does enjoy your private bathroom, with your fancy food, and the nice extracurricular activities this 'crazy house' provides you. Indulge and make yourself seem happy. If you don't eat the meds, make sure that they don't find that out. The sooner they deem you better, the sooner you can leave and I think you'll want to leave pretty soon."

"Why? Is there some news on Jimin? You have been keeping tabs on him right?" He sat up giving his full attention.

"Yes. Turns out he's pregnant."

"What?!" Jungkook frowned.

"Yeah. He and his husband just had a baby shower for him where they revealed the gender to friends and family."

"He and Taehyung are having a baby?" The younger could feel his nails digging in his skin from how hard he had been balling up his fist. It would soon draw blood if he didn't stop, but he couldn't. The mere thought of Jimin with anyone else made him want to go on a murderous rampage.

"See that's where it seemed a little off to me, so I did a little digging. Jimin is claiming to be only 4 months into his pregnancy, but when I looked at his hospital files, it states that he has been pregnant for a little over 5 months."

"Wait. Are saying-"

"Yes Jungkook. You're going to be a father." Jungkook couldn't explain the happiness he felt after hearing those words. He was going to have a baby with the man that he loved. He was finally going to have the family he always wanted, but then he thought about what Jisoo said before. He's claiming to be 4 months pregnant which means he's trying to keep this away from him. He was going to let another man father his child. He'd kill him before he'd ever let that happen.

"Just you wait Jiminie. You may think it's over now, but It's only begun. I'm gonna get out of here and when I do, you and that baby are mine."

🔵 BLUE = Something new.
I left room for a sequel to be made. I don't have to continue this, but I will if y'all want me to.

🔴 RED = He's dead.
In this ending Jungkook would've died and there wouldn't be a sequel.
