They had come to a crucial point: they had done so much but in the end they had come to nothing. Paola still couldn't believe that people still insisted on seeing them as a threat when they fought so hard to make people believe otherwise. He had done his utmost to help them and now? Did they have to give up at the very end? All of them were like family to her and the mere thought of losing them forever destroys her. He could not imagine not seeing his friend and adviser Adam anymore, the best little Billy who for being so small had been through many and hundreds and above all he did not feel like losing his beautiful Luke with flame red hair after all the good times spent together. Don't explain it but well ... she felt sad and more lost than ever, so much so that she wanted to give up.
