"Elira! Wait!" Snape cried as he caught up with her, grabbing onto her slender arm, "not now Severus, I need to be alone." Elira pleaded, pulling her arm from his. "I will not let you go through this alone, come with me.. please?" Snape soothed gently, his aching heart clear for Elira to see.
"Ok...." she sighed, following him down into the dungeons.

Snape opened the door to his private chambers and allowed Elira to pass, holding the door open like the gentleman she deserved. Elira sighed and put her head in her hands as she sat down on the worn leather sofa by the window. "I can't believe what your mother has done to you.." Snape growled, pulling his beautiful witch to his chest.

"We were happy.. Bogdan and me. We planned to spend the night together over the summer break.. it was going to be our first times, it was meant to be special!" She sobbed, her bright green eyes full of suffering.
"He didn't deserve you my love... I would never hurt you like that that, I'm going to be by your side forever and I promise you that." Snape insisted, looking into Elira's eyes with a truly serious expression.

"I'm so glad I found you Severus, you mean more to me than he ever could. You're 100 times the man he is." Elira smiled, stroking Snape's glossy black hair. "Are you ever going to tell your father the truth? He passed on the necklace from Bogdan to you because he obviously wants you and Bogdan together." Snape growled, the thought of his witch with another man agitating him. "How can I? It will break his heart even further. Not to mention what he will do to Bogdan." Elira shuddered.

"Who gives a hypogriffs shit what he does to Bogdan? If I ever meet that little bastard I'll be doing much worse things I can assu.." "Severus, I wouldn't want you to do anything stupid, I don't want to be alone waiting for you as you serve a sentence in bloody Azkaban." Elira groaned. Snape smiled at her lovingly as he realised how serious she was about him, how this beautiful girl was in it for the long haul... 'Life is finally being kind to me' he mused to himself.
