"I thought you wanted me to 'stay away' Severus, and yet, you send me an owl asking me to meet you here?" Gwen scoffed, shaking her head.

"Believe me, I'm not doing this for myself." Snape hissed as Gwen stood beside him, looking out at the view from the astronomy tower.

"I want you to stay away from Elira." He demanded firmly, his tone as cold as ice.
"Haven't you already came to that agreement with Albus?"
"Yes, I have but for some reason you can't seem to keep the fuck away!!!"

"She's my daughter, I will fight tooth and nail to have her back in my life! And I hope you realise... I will fight to end what you have with her!" Gwen sneered, spinning him around to meet his onyx orbs with a serious and threatening glare.

"I would die before I allowed a hoar like you to come between Elira and myself!"
"I can make that happen.. Severus I don't think you realise that a mother will do anything to protect her child."

Snape took s step back and began pacing, his blood slowly beginning to boil.
"She needs no protecting from me Gwen.. but Merlin did she need protection from you. Everything that you have done to her will not happen again. Believe me woman I too fight til the death." Snape hissed.

"All I did was make a mistake, one little mistake.."
"You seem to keep making 'mistakes' do you not? Only, if I remember rightly.. I caught you with James Potter that night when Lily was helping Slughorn. I watched you as you fucked him! She was one of your best friends..."

"I tried to tell her, I went to stop her from loving that bastard! From being your friend but he caught me alone in the corridor and began his usual torment on me before I got the chance... Lily came to my aid and I took all of my anger out on her! I called her a.......

"Ahh, so it is revenge! you're using her to hurt me! I knew that you were a vile greasy creature but this is a new low, even for you! You don't love Elira at all. It's all part of your plan to make me pay!" Gwen scolded furiously.

"Severus?....." Elira sobbed, her voice shaking in horror at what she just heard as she stepped out from the shadows.

"Elira, it's not what...." Snape tried, attempting to grab her arm as she turned and fled.
