I am still standing with my beloved when my mother appears into my view. Her soft smile looks down upon me and her eyes sparkle. Her eyes flash proudly at me and fills with gratitude, "She is right,"

I keep my eyes on hers, "Hmm?"

"The words she gave to you. You did save her with no intention for yourself. That is what a princess must do,"

My lips curl into a soft smile in return, "I do what is best for my kingdom, mother,"

Her smile widens as she continues watching me. Emotions of relaxation and comfortableness are showing through my eyes as Ike holds me. I finally feel my emotions calming inside of me. I close my eyes for a moment, enjoying the feeling.

I hear my mother softly chuckle, "I'm glad you're back, my dear,"

I nod and respond without opening my eyes, "Me too, mother,"

Shortly after, my eyes flutter open as another voice speaks to me, "Princess,"

The Dark King and Queen are standing before me with their hoods down and calm expressions plastered across their faces.

"Oh," I say as Ike releases me so we may bow in their presence, "Your Highness, how may I assist you?"

They return warm smiles and bow as well, "Your mother was just informing us that you will be leaving soon, back to Terra," I feel a rush of excitement spike within me, "We wish you a safe trip back to your home planet and we wanted to give you our blessings,"

"Oh!" I give a courtesy in reply, "Thank you!" I step closer to them, "I guess my work here is complete. I wish your Kingdom well. I do miss my father and have duties to complete myself back home," They bow in return and open their arms welcoming a farewell hug.

They are like my second pair of parents now. I cannot help but be grateful for how understanding they have been. The King sure did have a change in heart. I am glad I am able to assist them.

Once they release me, my mother appears next to me, also exchanging farewell hugs, bows and blessings. Then she turns to me, "It is time, my child. Let us board the ship,"

We turn to follow my mother out of the town, around the Castle and towards her ship looming in the horizon. My mother approaches the door to her ship, and with a single motion of her hand, the door slides open with a hiss and the walkway lowers in front of us.

Then my mother retrieves the suit for Ike to wear and has him put it on so he is ready for leaving the atmosphere. Once he is ready, we enter the ship one by one with my mother last. She motions her hand again with a single swipe causing the door to shut behind us with another hiss and a locking sound. The air compresses within the chamber and then the door before us slides open, revealing the bridge.

This ship is so much larger than the one the Commander brought me here in. Her console is more advanced with multiple transparent screens, many more buttons and controls.

"I actually have never seen your starship, mother. I did not know you had one," She is up at the main console, prepping the ship's engines and starting up the internal systems. She holds up one finger towards me, signaling she requires concentration during takeoff as the engines hum louder, causing the ship to shift beneath my feet. Her hands are surrounded with her magic veils as she operates the ship controls.

The whirring gets louder as the ship begins lifting from the ground. I hurry over to the large windows and peer down. I see the Princess, the King, the Queen and a large crowd behind them all waving us goodbyes. I start waving back at them with my left hand, holding my stomach with my right one and smiling. Ike has followed me and is doing the same next to me, waving down to them.

The ground gets further and further away from us as mother operates the ship up and higher into the planet's thick atmosphere. High pitch sounds of flying through thick air masses reaches my ears as I lose view of our friends down below us.

As we finally settle down when we get through the atmosphere, mother steadies the ship and sets the coordinates to our home.

Home at last. It feels as though it has been longer than one thousand years since I have been there. This trip will not be as unpleasant as the previous one on a long voyage through the stars and empty space.

When everything was set, she finally turns around to face us, "Yes, my dear. Every King and Queen from the Dark World gets a ship,"

"From the Dark World? I thought—"

My mother smiles warmly at me and slowly approaches me, "Come, let us stand before the window. Watch the stars with me child,"

"Oh... okay mother,"

A glance towards Ike lets me know he already knows some of the things my mother is about to tell me. She places her gentle hands upon my shoulders and stands behind me, watching the stars pass us by slowly.

"When I was a young Princess, my family took many trips to several of the nearby planets in our galaxy, the Radiant Ray. It is normal for many of the Princes and Princesses of Darphor to travel with their families,"

"Darphor? You mean the Dark World?"

"Yes. Darphor is your birth world, Star,"

"I—I was not born on Terra?"

"The day my family traveled to Terra, it was a day of peace. We came for a meeting for some of the royal family members who moved there. One of the trips, we visited Ylisse, where I met your father who was the prince at the time. His father, King Marth, was hosting our family gathering and reuniting of the bonds between both planets there in Ylisse Castle. After several trips, I spoke to my father and declared my husband of choice, since he was pushing me to choose soon before he was forced to choose for me. He accepted,"

She pauses for a moment. I am silent, soaking all of the information in as I focus on a red shimmering star slowly passing us by, "After our wedding, I stayed on Terra and did not return with my family back to Darphor. Many years later, while I was pregnant with you, I had been taking several trips there, sharing the news and visiting my family who I missed so very much. One of those trips, I took your father with me. That very trip, was when I birthed you before returning to Terra,"

She pauses again. I can see the smile she has on her face from the reflection of her on the glass in front of me, "You would have been the Dark Princess if I had chosen not to live on Terra with your father. Instead you became the Princess of Ylisse. My younger brother took the position in my place and became the King of Darphor,"

Ike has approached us now, also watching the stars pass us by, "So, I was born on Darphor," I say softly, wrapping my mind around the news, "How cool is that... I had no idea..." I say, to no one.

My mother must have figured out I am just speaking my thoughts now and she stays quiet, holding my shoulders and watching out the window, "So, the Great Lord Marth, who has become Legendary, is my grandfather... He wielded my father's blade and gave it to him himself... And now it chose me... Falchion... The Blade of Legend," I continue softly.

I hear Ike chuckle softly, "Lord Marth was a great King. He was who I served with my father before Chrom took the throne, back when I was young. Your mother told me some of this on the trip there to save you, Hun. Only the part that you were born there and she was the Princess at one time,"

I wonder how different Darphor is from my time, the one I was born at. I would assume it is very different since the Royal Family would be different. I would not be the Princess and mother would not be the Queen.

I turned to face him, and he was giving me a warm smile in return.

After a day's worth of travel time watching the stars and talking to Ike and my mother, the green and blue planet is emerging into view.

Wow, an entire day it took to travel here. This was on a higher travel speed and with using a jump drive. Space travel really can make you feel insane if you don't watch yourself. You really start to feel homesickness by the extremes in no time at all.

The bright sun is shining from behind it illuminating it. It is showing off how beautiful Terra really is and reminds me how much I really missed it.

Home. There she is. My father awaits me. I miss him so much.

A smile emerges onto my face as we neared Terra, "There she is," I breathe.

Ike is right there beside me, taking in the view with me. Emotions of calmness and comfortableness arose within me once again as thoughts of home are filling me up to the brim. It feels as though it was ten thousand years since I have laid my eyes onto the green and blue planet. Happiness is flashing through my eyes as I continue watching it drift closer. Mother approaches the console to prepare to enter the atmosphere and direct us to the Kingdom of Ylisse. Excitement surges through me and flashes in my eyes as I am finally home. I can finally see my father again.

The first thing I wish to do is to feel his embrace to welcome me home.
