I feel gentle but strong hands grasp me as I slowly begin to come out of my daze. Everything starts out blurry as I try to make out figures I see around me.

Ike. He's the one holding me. I know it without needing to see him.

A smile creeps onto my face as I feel him embrace me, holding me in his arms as he slowly stands me up onto my feet. When my vision clears up, I lift my left hand up to my temple, steadying the throbbing from my head.

"So glad you are alright, Hun,"

I look up to him and smile, "Ugh, that was not an easy task. What happened? Are they gone?" I turn, looking for Star, "Is Star alright?"

It's really weird talking about myself like this.

"By the way, don't worry me like that!" He says playfully, then he laughs when I laugh, giving a playful smirk as he crosses his arms over his chest.

"I am okay, see? Because you have been here for me," He smiles at me and pulls me closer to him. Then he continues, "Once we saw your shields fail, we had landed just in time. Your mother jumped out and found you both collapsed on the roof of the starship. Luckily the Namerans had quit attacking and was approached by the Queen who was waiting for our arrival,"

"That really took it out of me. Concentrating on something that large takes an extreme amount of focus," I pause, gazing into the eyes I have missed for so long, "And energy,"

He keeps my gaze, probably thinking the same, "Is Star alright? You haven't mentioned her to me yet,"

He keeps looking into my eyes for a moment, then it looks as though he shakes himself out of his thoughts. I laugh at him. He smiles as he says, "She's alright as far as I know. She's in the ship with your mother,"

My smile widens, "Okay,"

Ike's smile widens as well, answering to me. He pulls me in for a kiss. He makes me feel lighter than air. I realize how much I had missed him as I wrap my arms around his neck. He tightens his grip on me as he lifts me up into the air, spinning me around once before placing me back onto my feet. A small gasp escapes my lips as my smile grows while gazing into Ike's eyes once again.

Several sudden screams coming from the Castle break our gazes and I dart my eyes to the Castle doors, "What is—?"

My mother quickly darts out of her starship and finds my gaze. We both nod and I turn to face Ike, "Follow us,"

I shove myself into the air and follow my mother towards the Castle. There are several magicians with their magic out and are looking towards the Castle doors when my mother, Ike and I arrive. I hear familiar shrieking sounds coming from within the Castle. I shove my emotion to the back of my mind and my eyes turn a deep black. I glance to Ike and look to my mother. She turns her eyes black too.

"The King, he's corrupt!" I hear someone yell as my eyes widen. I push emotion through my arms, black orbs appearing around them. I narrow my eyes, knowing what must be done.

The Demon Lord. He is here. If he is here, he must be after...

My eyes widen again. Me. He's still after me! I have to stop him—

I quickly turn to dash back towards the starship when a loud crash forces me to turn around once again. The Demon Lord stands there at the Castle entrance, glaring directly at me. I narrow my eyes at him.

I am stronger now. You will never get me.

The Demon lets out a loud cackle, reverberating it off the nearby buildings surrounding the Castle. He is the King's body, but it has lost its solid form and is mist-like. He has red eye slits all over his forehead with those red markings covering his arms and legs. I do not take my eyes off him as he slowly hovers closer.

"The King is mine. Soon so will the Queen,"

The Queen. Then the Princess. I am sure of it. Me.

A large dark missile is thrown at him. It was from my mother. The Demon lets out another ear-piercing shriek as it bashes around from everyone else joining in, tossing energy beams and attacks. Not even a second later, I hear another high pitch scream come from in the Castle. It sounds like the Queen, like she is in intense pain and is suffering.

I shove myself around the Demon and begin heading towards the Castle when the Demon tries to stop me. I quickly block his attack with my magic shield with just a flick of my left hand. Then I immediately throw my arms outwards, enveloping him within my magical spell. He is stopped in his tracks as I mumble my nonsense. I slowly drop both of my hands, pause, then I throw my left hand upwards pointing to the left. Dust is thrown everywhere like a tornado just flew through the area. I lift The Demon off his feet, spin him around and throw him clear across the clearing at a breakneck speed. I just stand there without moving, my cape slowly drifting back down around me from the sudden wind blowing it around. I slowly lower my left arm. My cape completely closes around me while my eyes are still darkened.

I hear another high pitch shriek come from within the Castle. I dart my eyes over to the Castle doors as the Queen is staggering out of them, stumbling to the ground.

"Father! Mother! No!" I hear my voice scream from behind me. My eyes widen slightly as I spin around to see the Dark Princess gawking behind me, "What is happening? Why are you attacking them, Star?"

"No, stay back, you do not understand—" I start to raise my voice as she cuts me off.

"NO! I do not believe you!"

"Listen to me—"

She falls on her hands and knees, beginning to cry out in immense pain. She raises her hands up to her forehead and grasps her head while she tightly squeezes her eyes shut, "It hurts!"

My eyes widen once I realize I cannot do anything as the Demon Lord is beginning to take her right before my eyes, "No!"

No, he's not after me directly! He's after me from this time! She's weaker than me... Her emotions... She cannot take this... She loses control too easily... I cannot stop him now...

"The Queen! The Princess! They are going corrupt too!" The crowd around me screams.

I lift my left hand and hold it directly towards the Princess. I am about to use a spell when I hear the Demon Lord right behind me, cackling, "Do it, my dear. Try and stop me from taking you again—"

"Silence! You will not defeat me!"

"Oh, but I am afraid I already have, my dear,"

"NO! You do NOT know what I can do!" I spin around, facing it while I lift my left hand in a fist as I narrow my gaze at him.

I throw my emotion into my balled fist as it is encompassed by my dark magic energy. I reel back and throw a magic-energized punch towards the Demon Lord's face as he takes it gracefully, flying backwards onto his back. I swiftly throw my right hand up and place him into one of my magical shields, stopping him from moving. I flick my right hand upwards and he is lifted from the ground.

I phase closer to him, throwing another magical punch right into his backside, causing him to release a high-pitched shriek from his black mouth. It shrieks all the way through the air until it lands on the ground.

Before I can turn around to face the Dark Princess, I am shoved from the air where I was hovering and I harshly land on the ground beneath me. A grunt escapes my lips as I struggle to stand back up. I turn my eyes and see my mother phase in next to me, attacking whatever was attacking me. After her attack, several other attacks are thrown from the other magicians, also helping me.

I quickly scan the crowd to find Ike safe on the other side. He finds my gaze for a second and I feel empowered by my emotions as they course through me. Love.

Before I get up, I look back to the Demon and he has been absorbing the Queen while the Princess was attacking me.

The King and Queen are one now...

I shove myself up off the ground, slowly descend to eye level as I glare back at the Demon Lord while its eyes are fixed onto mine.

"You will not win this, child,"

I narrow my eyes onto the Demon as it does the same.

"You will never win," It repeats, slowly.

The Demon reveals an evil smile, "Your little friend is not here to save you this time, my dear. What is that? Where is your peace now, child?"

The right edge of my lips curl up as I smirk. I lower my head so my eyes can no longer be seen, shadowed by my hood. The words my father had said a long time ago echoes in my mind and escapes through my lips, "The day you see peace will be the day death brings it to you,"

The Demon Lord is not finished, it seems. Remember what happened to Star when she held weakened emotions? The Dark Princess Star was approaching the inevitable. There is so much she does not understand.
