Just wanting to talk about this new Book, Cursed Prince, for a while.

For starters, it's not a typical story that goes with the other books in the series, but it's an idea I had that I wanted to write that would go well with the world I've built with The Dark Magician Girl.

This is not part of the main trilogy and it's not going to affect anything with the series.

NOTE: This book is not going to turn it from a trilogy. Books 1, 2 and 3 remain the main story. Books 4, 5 and now 6 are extras, what-ifs and other daydreams unrelated to the main storyline.

I got this idea and thought about what Merric and Lance are doing now that Star has become Queen in a peaceful time with no war.

Young Merric and Lance, not the ones from the future. This version of Merric has not learned the Dark Magic spell Mire. These young boys are the young Princes that are going to be ascending to the throne when Star and Ike retire. The future boys have remained in the other dimension as mentioned at the end of book 3.

I want to continue my writing skills with this new daydream that I have already started developing while showing my love for horror, paranormal and psychological horror, my absolute favorite.

This story was influenced and inspired by my love and overwhelming obsession with:
Michael Myers (Halloween)
and
Jason Voorhees (Friday the 13th)
[My favorite horror characters]

My most developed character is perfect for this little story while developing them even more.

My absolute favorite thing about psychological horror is how well it can make me paranoid and afraid through sounds and atmosphere. I hope to build this story with as much atmosphere as I can and describe the sounds as best I can to try and imitate those things I love most about the genre!
