ANOTHER CALEBERU FIC!
This one has been on my computer for far too long. I was inspired by a fanart that I saw and I couldn't help but want to make a fic out of it. I've posted a preview of this on my twitter account like a month ago and I've been having a hard time finishing it. Here is the link to the fan art. twitter.com/ilbpizja/status/1240970380010872832. Please support the artist.
I honestly think that this is out of character and isn't my best work for this ship. I am really hungry for suggestions and constructive criticism on how to fix this. So feel free to comment about it. Like, PLEASE! I'M BEGGING YOU!
Anyways, enjoy!

The scribbling of the pen, flipping of papers, and the munching of cookies was all the noise that can be heard inside the crown prince's office. The peaceful silence was a complete contrast to the festivities' joyful noises just right outside the castle.
The former Roan Kingdom, now known as the Roan Empire, is celebrating the end of the war with the white star. And soon, they would be holding the coronation of the first emperor of the new Roan Empire. Yet, the said future emperor, except for attending the social gathering and meetings, had been stuck in his office.
Instead of celebrating, Alberu was buried in piles upon piles of papers. He was busy with work as he had always been after the war.
On the other hand, the second person in the room, the center of their celebration. The one who had contributed the most in their victory in the war against the white star. The Hero of the western continent adored as the young master silver shield, Cale Henituse, was leisurely lounging on the couch while eating cookies. He had utterly forgone any sort of etiquette while being in the presence of royalty.
The very first day that Cale had officially arrived at the capital for the upcoming celebration, the redhead had barged into his office in haste as if his heels were on fire.
Cale had been horrified the moment he had stepped foot in the gates of the Royal Capital. Alberu is not surprised. Not with all the fanfare and fuss the Roan citizen had made upon their entourage's arrival, his group was swarmed with people wanting to fawn over him, and the people cheering loudly for the young master silver shield was giving him a headache.
Don't even mention the Henituse estate. The fiery and revering gazes of all the servants were making him uncomfortable. Small mercies that Ron was still by his side to serve him personally. He'd take his scary smile and lemon teas he serves anytime over those.
It would not be far off to say that Cale and the children averaging twelve years old were currently residing in the Crown Prince's Palace since their arrival. If anyone wanted to meet with Cale, they would have to go through Crown Prince Alberu first, who was doing a great job blocking anyone who would just bother Cale.
Just wanting a bit of calm after all the madness that they've been through, Alberu could at least understand that. He did promise to give Cale his dream of a slacker life, and he would deliver.
He's pleased to have Cale close by; it had been a while since he had seen Cale. The young black dragon stayed true to his words in locking Cale up in his castle in the forest of darkness. Alberu just knew, even without seeing that Cale was having the time of his life there. He was living his dream slacker life.
When Cale decided by himself that he would sleep in his room, a part of Alberu was deeply frustrated with it, with losing his large bed to himself. First sharing with Cale and then followed by the children. Despite having a room arranged for them by the very next day, the four insisted that they slept better in his bed when the night came. Alberu, for the lack of better words, had lost the argument even before it even began.
Although the children insisted that he sleep with them as his bed was wide enough for four-person, Alberu still chooses to sleep on the couch. It would be a whole lot of package to unload for his heart in having to wake up close to Cale every morning. For the sake of his sanity, Alberu chooses to bear with having to sleep on the couch.
Even though he's resolved to have a few uncomfortable nights of sleep, it only took a few more nights before Alberu found himself losing yet another battle.
The crown prince would wake at some point to find either On or Hong curled up with him. Sometimes he would find even Raon lying on top of his stomach.
Alberu did not have the heart to let those children squeeze in with him in such a little place to sleep. Being used to their presence, Cale never slept well when he can't feel the children averaging eleven years old curled next to him. He kept tossing and turning. In the end, he can only yield and sleep with them on the bed.
When the morning comes, it would be a different kind of chaos, with three overly excited children whose energy was filled to the brim and Cale barely having energy at all despite getting the most sleep out of all of them. Alberu, once he's done his preparations for the morning, had brought it upon himself to drag Cale away from bed to at least eat breakfast. Then, after their meal, Alberu would be off to do his daily tasks while Cale would go back to sleep and wake up again by mid-noon.
By the afternoon, Cale would go to Alberu's office with a bored expression, with Ron following behind him as a dutiful butler. Cale would laze by the couch to eat some snacks. The children are excitedly telling him what they had been doing while Cale was sleeping. If he's in the mood, Cale would sometimes help Alberu with his work, but he took another nap more often than not. With the children not wanting to bother Cale while he's resting, they would instead pester Alberu.
There were also times when Cale would have to leave after lunch. They either show up in the Henituse estate or make a quick trip to the Forest of Darkness to check on their farm with Choi Han. During those times, Alberu would half expect that Cale would just bolt out and not return just to skip out on troublesome social gatherings held at the capital. Yet, when he goes back to his room to rest for the night, he would always find Cale along with the children waiting for him.
They have invaded Alberu's hectic yet orderly life, and his home changed around, but in the end, it was a good thing. There had been an aching emptiness to this place for years that he convinced himself he didn't mind. But now, with the place so full, there was a new sense of contentment sitting in Alberu's stomach.
He found himself dreading every day that passes that it would be all over soon once the celebration had ended.
Alberu let out a long sigh as he put down the last piece of paper that needed his signature.
"Cale."
"Yes, your highness." Cale stared at him from where he was lying half-propped up on Alberu's couch, one that Alberu had recently replaced to assure that Cale would be comfortable whenever he laid on it, a cookie halfway to his mouth.
Usually, Raon, On, and Hong would hang around his office with Cale. The children averaging eleven years old are nowhere to be seen as they had been out and about playing in the city since the official start of the festival with the extra allowance they had gotten from both Cale and Alberu. They were leaving their father figure to have his well-deserved rest.
"Make time for me later this evening." Besides going back to the Henituse Estate due to Duke Deruth's urging, Alberu knew Cale had nothing else to do today.
He was truly living his dream of a slacker life, if not for attending a few parties and meetings that required his presence upon Alberu's request while throwing the mountain loads of work for the post-war at Alberu.
"Sure, but what for?"
Alberu gave him a mischievous smile. "Just for a quick walk."
======
The street was lit up with magic devices and lanterns strung on lines between poles that run as far as Cale can see. The place was crowded with people, stalls of merchants from different races around the continent. Music and boisterous laughter without a care in the world resound on the streets, the scent of food – meat, spices, bread, and sweets - from the taverns and the light liquor that hung on the summer air.
Everyone was having fun.
Almost.
Cale looked extremely annoyed. It has nothing to do that Alberu had sneaked up on him while he was taking a nap at the Henituse estate after dinner with his family. Scaring the life out of him when Alberu freely entered through his room window and disturbing his rest after a long talk with Duke Deruth. Raon and the others let Cale be dragged away for Alberu's so-called 'walk'.
"Please don't be angry anymore." Alberu coos at Cale.
"..."
"Hyung will buy you anything that you like."
"..."
"Here," Alberu offered him a meat skewer which who knows when he even had the time to buy one while maneuvering in the sea of people with Cale in tow.
Cale just blankly stares at Alberu. It annoys him even more that Alberu treats him like a child that is throwing a huge tantrum. Maybe he was right to do so because Cale certainly wants to make a considerable fuss right now.
When Alberu told him that he wanted to go out for a walk, Cale thought he meant walking in one of the palace's gardens. Cale had failed to foresee sooner that Alberu's idea of a walk meant for them to sneak out of the castle and partake with the festivities just outside the castle walls.
He didn't like being here amidst this crowd. He is annoyed enough from all the silver shields he sees almost everywhere, the bards and storytellers recapping everything that had happened during the war in an exaggerated manner. There was also a risk that people would crowd at them if they learned that both their heroes are walking the streets with them since Alberu had been so adamant about not changing their appearance, wearing just simple clothes with a hat and hood.
What made him most annoyed at Alberu was that it had thrown off all the plans that Cale had been preparing for this evening.
Unfortunately, Cale can only sigh in defeat. "Where do you want to go?" He took the meat skewer that Alberu was offering to him.
Alberu internally winced when Cale bit at the meat with such vindictiveness.
At first, Cale was puzzled at Alberu's impulsive action about leaving the palace on such an important night when he was supposedly busy preparing for tomorrow's event. The coronation of the first emperor of Roan Empire.
As they walk on the lively street of the capital, it reminds Cale of the time when he and Alberu walked in the streets in Endable kingdom. Looking at such a scene, he finally understood why Alberu would want to see this sight. He wants to see his dreams that have now become a reality.
This scene before them. How all of these people enjoy the festival with carefree smiles on their faces regardless of their origins and race. This is something that means a lot for the crown prince.
Cale took a side glance at Alberu, and for the first time in a while since the end of the war, he looked as if he was genuinely enjoying himself. It's not wrong to loosen up once in a while. That applies especially to Alberu, who had been stuck in his office almost all year round.
Cale decides to indulge his Hyung, but it was not going to be for free.
"Hyung, will you buy whatever I want then?" Cale gave him a bright smile. Alberu is a little scared of Cale's smile and sudden change of mood.
They wandered from one shop and stalls to another with the ease of knowing that people would keep staring at the two of them even with their poorly made disguise. No one would step forward to bother them.
Alberu's memory was once again refreshed that, given free reign, Cale is a bottomless pit when it comes to throwing money around.
Cale would be walking alongside Alberu one second, then alone the next. He'd have to stop, backtrack, and every time he found Cale, talking with a merchant to pack up the items of his choice, or some kind of meat on a stick, apple pies and other sweets, or a plate of some type of dish seasoned with spices that made Alberu sneeze. And he put all that food away in a spatial pouch that Raon made.
At one point, Cale liked the dish served and thought the children would love it as well that he offered to buy everything on the stall. Alberu drags him away rather quickly, laughing loudly about how his dongsaeng never really did know when he was taking a joke too far.
Alberu dumbfoundedly stared at the coin pouch that Cale had single-handedly emptied in just less than a half-hour.
"Cale, I think we should slow down and carefully think before buying things."
Cale grins. "Hyung, you should have prepared more money if you want to enjoy the festival with me."
Alberu could only sigh in defeat as he took out another coin pouch. "Such a cheeky dongsaeng."
"Insufferable Hyung." Cale simply smirked at him before going to the next stall. Alberu had no other choice than to follow.
Half an hour later, Cale had quickly gotten tired of spending Alberu's money. While he did enjoy spending other people's money, he did not plan to buy everything he randomly took a fancy to. They decide to have a drink or two while enjoying the lively atmosphere of the festival.
They ended up at one of the bars located in the plaza where a band was playing heartily. A small group had clustered around them, and a few younger couples had begun to dance.
As they sat down by an empty table, Alberu can't help but be a little puzzled. They had met some acquaintances who were also enjoying the festival, but they declined when they were offered to join. Yes. Even Raon, On, and Hong did not stick with Cale. The children preferring to have the most fun by themselves with Ron following just behind them, acting as their guardian.
"Do you know what they're playing?" Cale asked. He was looking at the people dancing in the middle of the plaza.
Alberu tilted his head, considering, and his hood slipped down to rest on his shoulders."No... it's too simple to be any piece from Roan."
"I like it," Cale said, downing a glass of wine in one go. "It's joyful."
"It is," Alberu agreed. After a moment, he turned to Cale again. "I think they're improvising."
Alberu nodded, applauding the crowd as the song ended. It's been a while since both of them even had the simple leisure time to enjoy a song.
"Would the two gentlemen like to buy something to commemorate the festival?" A female merchant approached them. A lot had been doing so when they saw how Cale almost seemed as if he was going to buy everything he saw.
Cale accepted the female merchant when she presented her wares. It has something to do that she kept her surprise to herself and remained calm when she had doubts about their identities, and for once, the trinket being offered had nothing to do with shields or anything that would make Cale cringe.
She was offering simple accessories adorned with gems of various colors. "I would recommend citrine and ruby to match your hair colors." She wasted no time handing them the brooches, Alberu holding the one with the ruby and Cale, the one with the citrine gem.
"There," she says with a smile. "Like this, you'll carry a piece of each other wherever you go."
"That's...rather romantic," Cale says, amused.
"It's a rather romantic night," she says, giggling. "Didn't you two lovebirds come here for a date?"
Cale fiddles at the brooch. It was relatively cheap for their standard but beautiful nonetheless.
"I didn't realize that Hyung's purpose for taking me here was for a date and to act like lovers." he teases, returning the brooch with a yellow gemstone to the merchant. There was a flash of disappointment in the woman's face when Cale did so, but such expression did not last long when Cale picked another brooch with a brown gem instead.
"This one is much better." Cale hummed in satisfaction as he inspected the gem. Of course, Alberu was the one who was going to pay for it.
Alberu helplessly says after the merchant bid them a good day. "I wasn't trying to get you to play at being lovers."
"And yet, we seem to have quite the image to uphold," Cale gestured with his eyes at the people watching them with a heated gaze as Cale leans closer towards Alberu as he fixes the brooch on his vest. "Both here and among the nobles."
Alberu stiffened one second and then deflated the next. "Of course, you were aware of it this whole time."
Cale gave him a shrug as he helped himself with another glass of alcohol.
There had been rumors regarding their relationship since Cale chose to reside in the crown prince's palace instead of the capital's Henituse estate. There had been gossips for a while now about the nature of relationship being beyond sworn brothers. People became even more convinced when Alberu rarely allowed anyone to meet with Cale Henituse. Adding to that, Cale was known for his dislike for attending social gatherings, but when he does, he and Alberu would always be seen together. Almost inseparable to one another.
Cale gave him a rather smug smirk as he took the red brooch from Alberu's hand and fixed it on the lapels of Alberu's clothes. "Shall we play the part more convincingly then?"
Alberu let out another sigh in defeat. He reached out to loosen the hat that Cale was wearing. The sight of his long red hair cascading down his shoulder and back had certainly caught the eyes of many people.
Cale gave him an unamused look. "People will talk."
"Dear dongsaeng, we already gave them a lot to talk about." Seeing Cale pouting like that, it was Alberu's turn to laugh. He then pushed his hood off to better savor the warm summer night air. "Making things bigger is just one part of the reason why I brought you here."
"You're out of your mind!" Cale was surprised at his actions, and he wasn't the only one who was. A few people gasped in surprise when they realized their identities, but the sounds quickly drowned in the noise.
Alberu simply shrugged without care for the consequence of his actions as he stood up.
Just in time, a trio of musicians went up on stage. After playing a quick experimental note, they started playing. Their song was just as joyful as the last, the notes bouncing and playful. The crowd cheered, and there was a sudden swarm as people paired up to dance.
Alberu knelt to him, a playful smirk in his lips. "May I have this dance?"
"Yes." Cale exasperatedly took Alberu's hand as he led him into the swirling mass of pairs dancing in the plaza.
The song was slow and peaceful, and it had drawn many more pairs into its rhythm. Cale settled his left hand on Alberu's shoulder and lifted their entwined hands upward.
They swayed gently in place, Cale's face unreadable. Alberu was sure he would be able to hear his heart, which seemed about to break through his chest.
"What a mundane way to dance," Cale murmured, his gaze sliding over the people nearest them.
Alberu smiled as he remembered his own experience in dancing with some noble ladies. "This is a bit more relaxing than any court function."
"Just a bit," Cale agreed. He smiled a soft, beautiful smile.
Alberu felt his stomach flip as his gaze dipped to Cale's mouth. The music was building towards its final chorus.
Lifting their entwined hands, Alberu allowed Cale to step under and twirl back into place, slightly closer than he had been seconds ago. Both of their movements were smooth. The moves drilled into them over years of etiquette lessons. But this could not compare to any of those. Dancing with Cale was like a private conversation, a secret shared only between the two of them.
"I meant it earlier."
"Which one?" Cale asks.
Alberu looks at Cale dead in the eyes. "When I said that, I wasn't trying to get you to play at being lovers."
"I was just teasing you."
"I don't want it if it has to be just an act," Alberu says when the steps made them close to each other's space. "I don't know when it started. And I never dared to tell you until now that I'm in love with you."
Cale's eyes fluttered up at him. His face held a rare expression of genuine surprise. "Your highne--"
Cale's words were cut off with the sudden spin. It was a slow movement, but Cale was taken off guard to pay attention to the dance steps. He felt himself stumbling forward, but thankfully Alberu caught him, and his posture was quickly righted.
There was a small beat of silence between music and applause, and Alberu's gaze dropped to Cale's eyes.
"Cale, will you marry me?" Alberu says softly; his voice was solemn as if he was saying a prayer. His blue eyes filled with expectations.
Cale felt heat rise into his face. "I..."
Sudden clapping sounded around them as couples broke apart, and they startled, taking a step back.
He knew that it would be hard for Cale to accept his proposal. He was already prepared for rejection when he told Cale how he felt towards him because Alberu knew that Cale wished for a life that was far different if he were to stay by Alberu's side.
He knew that, still, Alberu couldn't back down now.
Alberu fished a small box from his pocket and knelt in front of Cale with everyone watching them like a spectacle. "Cale, please marry me."
Cale is too shocked to even react.
Kneeling and proposing with a ring. As far as Cale knows, there is no such tradition in Roan Kingdom. He was sure that this idea had come from Choi Han.
Cale knew that the two of them had been sneaking about recently, but he was too lazy to care. Not like anyone was dying so he simply didn't think much about it. He himself was doing something sneaky. Cale just didn't expect that Alberu would surprise him like this.
"Urgh, you are so—ugh." Cale can't help covering his face. He's very flustered, feeling the heat rising in his cheeks. The people cheering for him to say yes was not helping him calm down.
-Say yes, Cale! Say yes! The ancient powers chimed in as well. The gluttons voice being the loudest out of all.
Cale mumbled something but the plaza was just too noisy for him to hear his words.
"What did you say?"
Before Alberu could react, he felt that he was suddenly being pulled up. He wasn't sure what had happened in the last several moments. He registers, distantly, that the people around them are cheering and screaming.
Cale was kissing him.
Alberu blinked in surprise as Cale slowly broke away from the kiss. He looked as if he was a deer stuck in the headlights. "Cale— did you just—"
"Is this the main reason why you took me here?" Cale smirks, snapping him out of his reverie. "Making a public proposal for all the people to know. Cornering me in such a roundabout way."
Alberu could only helplessly nod.
"I'll say this now. This is one of the silliest ideas you can come up." Cale admonished, still trying to act nonchalant. "You didn't have to make a big scene out of it. I would have said yes no matter how you ask."
Alberu reflexively pulls Cale into his embrace, ignoring everything around them. He was just so happy to even think about anything else. Alberu clasped their hands together as he pressed a soft kiss against the back of Cale's hand. "You always—make me—"
Cale shudders, feeling his warm lips against his skin. "We should get out of here," Cale murmurs. "The Henituse estate—"
"But the Henituse estate is so far," Alberu whines softly, right into his ear.
Cale snorts. "So impatient."
"I would have you right here, in front of everyone, if it meant I could have you now," Alberu says.
Cale shuddered as he looked at Alberu's eyes. 'He's serious!'
Unfortunately, words are needed to get through to this prince. "We already made such a big scene!"
"I don't care" Alberu smiles at him with a glint of mischievousness.
"The palace," Cale blurts out. "We need—there. Something. Do that there. You may not care, but I don't have your shamelessness."
Alberu pauses. Considers.
"I wouldn't want anyone else to see the way you look right now, anyway," he says, putting the hat back on top of Cale's head to cover his blushing face and then they make for the palace without delay. Running and avoiding the crowd of people who gave them unceasing congratulatory words as they ran hand in hand.
(This entire fic was inspired by this. Check out the original source here twitter.com/ilbpizja/status/1240970380010872832)
Using the darkness of the night, they had entered discreetly through the secret entrance to avoid the patrolling soldiers and anyone from seeing them. Even if what they were doing is very far off from being discreet.
As if they were still high from the energy of the festival. They were intoxicated with the warmth of each other. Their steps were rushed as if they were still running and not at the same time. It was more like dancing, like how they dance with each other at the plaza.
They can't be parted for more than a few seconds at a time. They're always touching - hand to hands, hand to nape, hand to hair, mouth to hair, lips to neck, jaw, lips. They're learning each other all over again as they run because there was no longer any point in holding themselves back now that they were sure their feelings were requited.
Cale walks ahead only to turn around to walk back and cup Alberu's face. Alberu runs ahead only to stop dead until Cale catches him and then kisses him sweetly for a minute before going on. Cale and Alberu isn't—they're not sure if ever there was a time they felt like this. Never this feeling of pure ecstasy that made him feel lightheaded, of the warm yet exhilarating sensation, of needing to touch each other, of feeling confident that he could hold on to the other.
From the moment the door of the Crown Princes' Palace had closed, Alberu practically glued to him. He wraps his arms around Cale's neck and presses a kiss to his neck, the underside of his jaw, the tops of his shoulders, his neck. Ever so slowly stripping him of the vest he had worn.
If any of the servants on duty were shocked to see both of them being glued due to each other - giggling and kissing each other with no care for their surroundings- none of them voice any scandalized gasps. Instead, they had discreetly excused themselves lest they disturb them.
Neither Alberu nor Cale cared if anyone saw them, completely throwing any sort of decorum the moment the doors had closed. They never really cared about it to start with. Both just simply did not want to be disturbed and ruin this moment.
Cale found Alberu is so distracting that Cale nearly collides with a corner a few times. Stairs have somehow become almost impossible to climb.
He lets Alberu back him into his bed-chamber. For every step Alberu takes towards him, Cale steps back. He walked across the room to the edge of the bed, the precipice of Alberu's domain. Alberu steps in close, their foreheads brushing. He leans forward to kiss Cale to snag his bottom lip with his teeth.
Cale parted his lips, letting Alberu deepen the kiss as their tongues danced around each other's mouth. All the while, their hands are wrapped in each other, feeling the warmth of each other. Their already disheveled clothes were being stripped ever so slowly piece by piece until their torso was laid bare.
Hazed reddish-brown eyes met with uncertain brown ones when their lips parted. One last silent confirmation that the other truly wants for this to happen.
"Are you sure?" Alberu whispers. Each word contained every ounce of control.
Cale could not help but snort at Alberu's sudden hesitation. He wonders where his earlier confidence to take him there and then at the Royal Plaza for all to see had flown off.
With one solid shove, Cale pushes Alberu back onto the bed. Alberu falls on his back. He feels the bed dip when Cale climbs over him, blocking out the dim light of the moon. Hovering over him, Cale becomes all Alberu can see.
It was like a sea of red surrounded Alberu, Cale's long hair creating a wall blocking out all else around him. All he could see was Cale's handsome face, his beautiful eyes, and luscious lips. It was perfect...
"I'm not having any second thoughts, Your Highness. The shining star of the Roan Empire. My sun." Cale said in a low timbre of voice. His eyes were focused on Alberu just as much as Alberu's are on him. "Are you perhaps the one who is having second thoughts after bravely proposing to me in front of the eyes of Roan citizens no less?"
Alberu can't help but smirk. "Never." he propped himself up using his elbow as he placed a placating kiss on Cale's lips.
Cale huffed, "Then please have mercy on this poor subject of yours and stop dallying."
"You do know that you're not just any of my subjects, right?"
"Mn." Cale nodded as he let Alberu pull him for another kiss.
Alberu breaks their kiss just so he could look at the flush on his face, eyeing Cale's swollen lips and the heavy look in his eyes. He can't help savoring the sight of him and giving him the utmost pleasure in slow sensual worship.
Lingering light touches. Soft kisses in Cale's pale neck tracing down to his chest, abdomen, and down to Cale's long legs. Not missing a patch of his smooth skin, sometimes leaving marks here and there. Once he was done, Alberu would start his worship all over again driving Cale into the edge and desperate for completion.
"E-enough of that." Cale moaned in impatience.
With the red head's urging, Alberu immediately hastened his movements. One hand was wrapped around Cale's hardness while the tip of his tongue licked his entrance. When he felt that it was wet enough, a finger stretched in and pressed gently against the inner walls, unceasingly moving in and out before a second finger joined in...
"Ah..." So full. Cale's entire face was red with embarrassment. The foreign intrusion that he had not felt for so long gave him some slight discomfort, but soon, under Alberu's careful exploration, a third finger stretched in and repeatedly searched for his sensitive spot, the place that made him unable to withstand it, and gently pressed twice, repeatedly overloading with his body with numbing pleasure.
"There..." Cale unconsciously arched up. He felt stuffed full at the back, and it made him clamp down even more tightly. Being filled up like this, a numb, tingling sensation spread out from inside, and he could not say if it were pleasure or discomfort, but his body could not stop trembling.
"Here?" Alberu pressed another soft kiss against his skin as he pushed in with four fingers. He suppressed the flames of desire in his heart, his gaze turning dark. He was determined to give Cale an unforgettable memory.
"Ahh - Yes!" Cale was limp and paralyzed from the sensations. A numbing pleasure spread through his entire body over and over again. His hole involuntarily contracted as his breathing came in short pants. The part of him that Alberu was stroking released, hot liquid spraying out as he lost himself in pleasure, almost wanting to open his mouth to beg for mercy.
"It's my turn now." Alberu stopped his movements and slowly withdrew his fingers, his attitude domineering and irrefutable. He held his own length and pushed it up against Cale's hole.
Cale was too far gone to process anything Alberu was saying. He wanted more, and though he couldn't verbalize his need, Alberu seemed to understand perfectly well.
"Haa-"
"Hng."
Alberu thrust in; Cale's hole tightened, but the expected sting did not come. He felt tight, really full; the sensitive walls of his entrance could clearly feel the searing heat and hugeness of Alberu's length. Cale let out a pleasurable sigh as a sense of satisfaction arose from being filled up completely.
Alberu seemed to be inspired as his body slowly began to move; he alternated between shallow and deep strokes. He looked down and appreciated Cale's appearance as he wallowed in pleasure.
The sounds of skin rubbing against skin and moans echoed inside the room. Very soon, Alberu had found his most sensitive spot and thrust at it accurately and repeatedly. His hand reached out to wrap around Cale's length, his thumb pressing tightly against the top slit, preventing him from venting his pleasure.
"Ah... No... " Cale's eyes reddened as there was no outlet for his extreme pleasure. But after Alberu had embedded himself as deep as he could go, he loosened his hand, and Cale went soft as he came again.
Alberu embraced his lover in satisfaction, and the two reached the peak together. The hot liquid was embedded deeply in his lover's body; he had finally gotten what he wanted in his arms.
----------
When Alberu wakes, it is to the hiss of curtains being pulled aside and the harsh light of late morning assaulting his eyelids. He throws an arm over his eyes and groans, feeling too satiated and warm and heavy to do more than a complaint about the rude awakening.
With his head lying on Alberu's chest, Cale grumbled in annoyance at his sudden movement and the light. He was still very sleepy, making him reflexively shift further under the covers, attempting to bury his head beneath pillows and a comforter. Alberu was more than happy to lie sideways to block Cale from the sun.
"Forgive me for interrupting your rest, your highness, young master." Ron says with a benign smile, unperturbed at the mess that the two of them are with nothing but a blanket covering their bodies. "It's time for you to wake up. We have an important day ahead of us."
"Oh." Alberu blinked. He only remembered now that today was his coronation. Compared to the events from last night, everything else seemed to be unimportant.
It still feels surreal.
Their date at the festival, the dance in the plaza, how Cale had kissed him and accepted his proposal, and the fullness of what they've done. Every palace whisper, every murmur behind closed doors, every talked-up gossip is gossip no longer.
Cale was officially his lover and soon to be his royal consort.
Even now, Cale lies on his stomach in his bed, an arm slung heavy over Alberu's waist. Alberu can see the slightest movement in his bare shoulders as he breathes, still sleeping. Alberu can't help lightly brushing his hand on Cale's cheek, tucking a strand of red hair behind his ears.
Unfortunately, time waits for no royalty. Or anyone for that matter.
As much as Alberu wish to stay in bed with Cale today's event can't be delayed. He wore the robe that Ron had prepared and grudgingly got out of bed to start preparing for his coronation.
Ron had spread the bed's canopy to cover Cale from the light sun and prying eyes of the others before letting the other servants inside to help Alberu get ready, letting his young master sleep a few more hours before he needed to get ready.
Normally, Alberu doesn't need any servant to attend to him. Special events come with certain procedures.
It didn't take long before Cale also stirs awake. He opens his eyes, blinks a couple of times, and looks around. While it still appears dark due to the curtains, judging from the noises it seemed like it was time for them to get ready.
"Are you awake now, young master?" Of course, Ron knew without even having to look.
Cale sluggishly put on the robes that were prepared for him. He feels the slow-moving ache through his body, the weightiness of sex, and the warmth of another's body against his skin.
"I'll have Beacrox send your breakfast."
Just as Ron left, the children averaging twelve years old barrelled inside the room.
"Cale!" On and Hong in their cat form jumped and rubbed their head against Cale's arm. "Congratulations, nya!"
"Thanks." Cale gave the both of them a head pat.
Compared to how excited the two of them are, Raon was quiet as he flew towards the bed and sat near Cale
"Are you sure about this, human?" Raon asks sulkily.
"I'm sure, Raon." Cale answered firmly. He gave Raon a head pat and knew that he was sulking because he hadn't been allowed to accompany Cale for almost the entire day yesterday.
It didn't take too long before he was lively again. "Okay! I will make sure to give you the most splendid gift. I'm a great and mighty dragon after all!"
"You're finally awake?" Alberu, who just finished getting dressed, came with a basket of cookies and milk in hand. He knew that Raon and the others would come as soon as Cale woke up. The three immediately jumped and munched on the cookies.
Seeing the children averaging twelve years old busy stuffing themselves, Alberu sat on the bed. "How are you feeling?" he whispered in concern. "Did I hurt you last night?"
"I'm not some genteel woman," Cale snorts.
"I know," Alberu says helplessly. "I'm just worried."
On who was with her brothers on the other side of the bed, despite the adults hushed whispers, she can't help but roll her eyes. These two had been unconsciously flirting nonstop before they even made their relationship. Now that they're in a relationship, they became even more insufferable. There are pink hues and flowers everywhere!
Fortunately, It didn't take long before Ron came back with their breakfast and another set of clothes for Cale. "Young master, here are the things that you had this Ron prepared."
Cale hummed in satisfaction as he took the clothes. Alberu looked at the intricate clothing. Cale rarely wore white clothes since the war, so he couldn't help but be curious. It was a pure white improvised military suit with golden edges. The design looked familiar to Alberu, and he suddenly remembered that it almost had the same design as his clothes, though the pattern on Cale's clothes was more on the delicate side.
Alberu turns to Cale as he comes to a realisation. "You were prepared for this?"
"Hyung, I was actually planning to propose to you last night. I was even prepared to use any means possible for you to agree" Cale languidly grins at him. Amused at Alberu who turned stiff with his face so red. "Too bad you beat me into it."
"I-I... You- That's why you said last night-" Alberu stutters, feeling that it was such a loss. He should've just stayed put!
"Crown prince, if you make humans unhappy, I'll blow up this place." Raon threatened. Eruhaben told him that before the wedding, the relatives need to threaten their future in-laws.
"We'll destroy everything, nyaa!" The two cats chimed in happily.
"Of course Raon-nim. I always treat Cale well." For one, Alberu knew that, coming from these children, their words are not empty threats.
Ah, They're really too viscous. Cale thought to himself but can't help laughing at the situation at the same time.
Later on, when Alberu and Cale walked to the throne room hand in hand, announcing their engagement after Alberu's enthronement ceremony, though some were surprised, it didn't come as a shock to the majority. "Finally! These two had stopped dancing around each other!" Was the unspoken unanimous thoughts of everyone close to them.
