I groaned, going to hold my head. My head was pounding hard, so hard that I saw colors on the back of my eye lids. It slowly subsided to a manageable level that I was actually able to open my eyes. What I saw gave me pause, not because it was unfamiliar, but because I couldn't make sense of any of it. I knew what it was, but it wasn't like I remembered. My home's walls were crumbled, as if I had skipped several years in my sleep. I went to get up and stretch. My motors groaned as I used them after what I assumed was a long time. "I'm surprised I haven't corroded away after all this time. I wonder what caused the time shift like that..." I look at my file system and look for my logs, "huh, a lot of my file structure has been wiped, wonder what's left... Where's my data?" I look at my ID window to see:

AGE: Error
RANK: Error
MODEL: NaN
OS: NaN

"Damn it, all of it is gone... Well, at least I have some memories to work with, I think." I head around my place, grabbing some things that seem  useful-ish and putting them into my storage. I take one last look around what used to be my home before heading out. Stepping outside, I was met with a forest filled with the sounds of russling leaves, chittering animals, and the sound of flowing water. I stand there a second to take it all in before heading off.
