Taylor's POV

It's been three and half weeks since we left Mystic Falls. We haven't had a full moon yet. But we have one tomorrow night. I've been educating Tyler on werewolf history, how to properly chain himself up, and told him about some packs that don't chain themselves up. But turn far from humans, so that don't kill anyone. And we train a lot. It helps him burn off steam and keep his anger in check. Jules is still with us, but more submissive then she used to me. I guess that what happens when you get your pack and boyfriend killed.

I even introduced Tyler to a member of another pack. Ray Sutton, his pack sometimes change in the world in the mountains. His alpha is Paige. Tyler asks if alphas are always female. I explained it's usually the werewolf with the most experience in a pack that is alpha. Gender isn't a factor. He asked why I wasn't alpha of our old pack then.

I explained I was young and had no ambition to be alpha. I though Jules and Brady as couple would be able to lead the pack. Had I known they would lead to the death of the pack. I would have never let them be alphas. Hence why I am in charge of Tyler's training and Jules is just following us around. Not wanting to be alone and no other pack would take her in. After she got her old one killed. Werewolves are social beings and prefer living with others. As opposed to being alone.

I have everything prepared for our transformation tomorrow. I am chilling reading a pack when I hear Tyler moving around in his room. Strange, I thought he was out on a run. I get up and go see what's going on. When I reach his room, I see him packing. "What are you doing?" I ask him.

"Packing" he states.

"I can see that Tyler, why are you packing?" I ask him.

"I'm leaving" he states.

"It's a full moon tomorrow night" I remind him.

"I don't care, my mother is hurt" he snaps lightly.

"Carol is hurt?" I ask with a frown. "How do you know?" I ask him and he grabs his phone.

"Got this voice mail from her" he states and plays it.

"Tyler, honey. It's your mother. I don't know where you are, but I need you. I've had an accident and I'm in the hospital. Please, Tyler, come home" Carol says on the voicemail.

"Strange, why wouldn't she have called me?" I ask him.

"She doesn't have your number remember" he reminds me. "Anyway, I gotta go back right a way" he states.

"Ok, we'll all go" I tell him. "But remember it's a full moon tomorrow and we need to chain ourselves up" I remind him.

"Thank you Aunt Taylor" he says.

"Finish packing, I'll inform Jules" I tell him.

"You sure that's wise?" he asks me.

"If I don't, she'll just follow us anyway. Best she come with, so that I can watch her" I tell him. He nods his head and I left the room.

(Time skip)

We arrived at Mystic falls the day of the full moon. I told Jules to wait in the car. While Tyler and I went to check on his mum. We were shown to her hospital room. She was asleep when we arrived. Soon Carol wakes up. She spots Tyler first by the window. "Tyler" she says.

"Mum" he says and sighs in relief. He kisses her on the forehead gently.

"You're back" Carol says.

"I'm back" he says.

"We both are" I state. She looks at me.

"Taylor" she says with an edge and I sigh. "Tyler, please let me talk to your aunt alone" she says. He looks at me and I nod.

"I'm gonna go let a nurse know you're awake" he states and leaves.

"I am sorry that we left without warning Carol. But Tyler wasn't coping being here. Reminded by Richard and Mason everywhere he looked" I tell her.

"You could have waited, we could have talked" she tells me.

"I know, I am sorry. We wouldn't have left so suddenly, but Jules get a call. Her boyfriend and their friends had died in a terrible fire. They were my friends too and we wanted to be at the funeral. I told Tyler to wait a few days, then I'd come back for him. But he wanted to leave with us straight away. I think he had a fight with his friends" I tell her.

"Are you staying?" she asks.

"As long as Tyler wants, besides someone has to take care of  you" I tell her. "I should probably take Tyler home, it's getting dark and he hasn't eaten since he got your voicemail yesterday. I'll make us dinner and we'll be back tomorrow" I state.

"Promise?" she asks.

"Promise" I tell her and she relaxes. A nurse comes in. "Here" I say and grab a pen from the nurse. I write my number down. "So that we can stay in contact, take care of yourself" I tell her. She nods and I left the room. I try calling Tyler and he doesn't answer. Strange, I try Jules and same thing. Something is wrong.

I pocket my phone and take a deep breath. I catch Tyler's scent. I follow it to outside. Where I smell he had meet up wit Caroline and Jules. I frown in confusion, I told Jules to wait in the car. I look around and notice a syringe on the floor. I bend down and pick it up. I wince when some of the left of liquid drops onto my hand. Wolfsbane, Tyler is in trouble. Possibly Jules and Caroline too.

I start to track Jules first as she is alone. It smells like Tyler and Caroline are together. But who would attack two werewolves and a vampire? I didn't recognized the scent. It sort of reminded me the Martins, a relative perhaps? But what would witches want with Jules, Tyler or Caroline? I soon find Jules chained up unconscious. I look around wary before entering. "Jules" I say and she wakes.

"Taylor" she says relieved. "Get me out of here" she says.

"Who attacked you?" I ask her.

"Witches, two of them. They took Tyler and that blonde vampire as well" she states.

"Did they say why?" I ask and she shakes her head. "Well I'm going after Tyler and Caroline, good luck" I tell her.

"You're going to leave me here?!" she shouts.

"Yep, I know the code. But Tyler is family, he comes first" I tell her. "I only came here for answers, which you don't have. I pray you are reunited with Brady and the others" I state before leaving. I track Tyler and Caroline's scent. I arrive to see Damon fighting a warlock and losing. Suddenly there's a gunshot. The warlock falls to the ground.

Damon raises his head and sees Matt with a rifle. I meanwhile snap the warlocks neck. "That's for going after my nephew" I state.

"Surprised you weren't caught" Damon says.

"I was with Carol" I state.

"What are you doing here?" he asks Matt.

"Where's Caroline?" Matt demands.

"No doubt inside" I state.

"Listen, man. Not a good time to play the hero" Damon tells him.

"Where is she? And what did he do to her?" Matt demands.

"We don't have time for this" I snap. Damon puts his hands up and starts stepping forward slowly. Saying he is here to rescue Caroline. Damon rushes over to him and hits him with the butt of the rifle. Matt falls to the ground, unconscious. Damon picks up the rifle and clears the bullets out of it.

"You're lucky I already screwed up once today or you'd be dead" Damon tells him. "Lets go get Caroline and your nephew" he tells me. I nod and lead the way inside. I free Tyler and he frees Caroline. "Your boyfriend's outside with a rifle loaded with wooden bullets. You have some explaining to do" he tells her.

"What, Matt?" she asks shocked.

"Story for another time, lets go. Tyler and I still need to lock ourselves up" I remind them.

"How fast can you get the hell away from here?" Damon asks.

"Quicker if you stop talking" I tell him. "Now lets grab Matt and go, Tyler you can explain the situation along the way" I tell him. He tells me how the sun and moon curse is fake. How it's a curse placed on an original vampire called Klaus. And to break it. He needs to kill a vampire, a werewolf and Elena on a full moon. While a witch performs a spell with the moonstone. Great.

Along the way, Tyler starts to turn. As I fight back my transformation. I may not feel pain, but I have very little control of my wolf. I maybe able to control her for a minute. But afterwards, she will want to hunt vampires. Tyler doubles over and falls to the ground.

"Get up" I tell him.

"I don't know if I can hold it off. Get out of here" he tells the others.

"Tyler, it'll be okay" Caroline tells him. I look up at the moon. He won't be able to hold it back for long. They have to get out of here.

Tyler's eyes are yellow. He rushes over towards Caroline but Damon intercepts him and they both fall to the ground. Damon is on his back and Tyler is above him. Damon pushes him but Tyler bites him in the process. I tackle Tyler off of Damon and pin him. "Go now! All of you!" I order.

"She's right! Get out of here!" Tyler shouts.

"Get to the Lockwood cellar. If it held them in, it'll keep them out" Damon states.

"He's right" I tell them.

"If it doesn't...use these" Damon says handing Matt wooden bullets. "It'll buy you a couple seconds. Go. Go!" he says. Caroline and Matt run one way. While Damon goes another.

"I can't hold it back" Tyler tells me.

"I know" I says as I lock my wolf eyes with his. I let him go as I let my body transform. Soon we're both wolves. We catch the scent of a vampire and run chasing the scent. We soon reach a cellar and see a vampire with a human. Both lock familiar. But why?
